Now, Lori Vallow's nephew, Zac Cox, who lived with her in Gilbert, Arizona, is speaking out for the first time.

Great guy, he has been through some crazy stuff.Anyone starting to connect the dots...once the evil religious podcasts and books came on the scene all of their lives became upside down insanity! This nephew had no idea ! It’s so good to hear him just tell his story, not holding back, not “planned” comments, just laying out everything he knows. I hope we hear a lot more from him.
And no gaslighting comments about religion. This all had to do with cash grabs and nothing to do with religious beliefs. No reason for him to talk in circles, he’s telling the truth.
This entire interview was planned. He had a year and a half to plan his words, and his entire persona echos the rest of the Cox family.

Surely the officers in the “evaluation” video should be suspended. It was their job to get her to a proper facility to get evaluated, they didn’t. They allowed her to use her cop friend and her botox injected body as leverage.

Zac has so much information that we would never have known about. I’m so proud of him for being brave.
It's the most detailed, and gives a lot of new information. I think we've been following the story for so long, there was very little new to learn anymore. All the family members who were interviewed until now (sis, mum, niece) were just blowing smoke. Didn't even know zac existed! What a fine young man. 👏🏾👏🏾
Also sounds like mum knows more than she's telling. What did Tylee tell her the day she came over? That lady needs to be asked some tough questions.

Yes! Grandmother played an integral part in facilitating all this. Many disagree but she KNEW Charles had been killed, knew Lori was delusional for a while, not the least bit worried when in Idaho never talked to her grandchildren or FaceTime. If she had spoken up in Chandler would the kids have ever been taken away to Idaho? 😡

Also, let us not forget that Jesus condemned also for not sticking to this commandment of God. So it was mentioned both by God in the old testament and by Jesus in the new testament. It is so horrible on so many levels what Lori and Chad and their followers did to these good people. I hope this sane group can fully heal from all this betrayal. Zac like a genuinely good guy. Charles, Tylee and JJ were lucky to know and love him.
Thank you so much for sharing, Zac. I am so sad about what happened to you and your family. I've listened to hundreds of hours of commentary on this sad, sad series of events. Of the family members, it is obvious you are clear minded on the reality of what happened. I know you say you have regrets but, you couldn't possibly have known that Lori's crazy thoughts would manifest in the murder of Tylee and JJ. And, even if you had strongly suspected it might, no one would have listened to you and there was literally nothing you could have done. The authorities didn't even listen to Charles. Listening to Chad's children defend him was so frustrating. I understand defending your father but, not now. Not after everything we know. Given that what's done is done and can't be changed, I am so grateful to know you are there to bring a sane perspective on this terrible, terrible tragedy. Stay strong, Zac. You are needed to help bring whatever measure of justice that can be brought to this tragic situation.
I’m proud of Zac for standing up for Charles now. Its heartbreaking that he had to experience this trauma first hand. Prayers to the families still grieving.
Colby is also standing up for Charles in his interview, and he was manipulated by Lori and the family against Charles in the same way.

I'm sure prosecutors prefer they not interview, but can't dictate their actions. If they're smart, they will be careful about what they say and how in depth they would get in an interview, because it could potentially help the other side depending on what is said.

This is but one horrific monster created that the whole family was scared of. They are coming out now that they have survived, money and celebrity is to had. Lori is dangerous crazy and if sh e ever gets out of prison, they would need to sleep and eat with one eye open.

It's unbelievable how everyone on that side of the family (with the exception of a few) took Lori's word, without even getting Charles's side first. Poor Charles. She did so many crappy things to him even before he died. 😪
He didn't just die he was MURDERED, and then Lori threw a pool party to celebrate the million she was going to rake in. Charles had already changed the beneficiary to Kay his sister, I wish he'd told her she might not have killed him.
Actually it is typical and very believable. It is how cults and cult religions work. Even more so in communities where a particular denomination of religion is the forefront following.
This is a key part of the programingvand control of how cults operate. Do a little studying on the B.I.T.E. model.. and when looking at these churches, religions, groups and the doctrine andcidealisms they believe, teach and follow. It becomes very abundantly clear and obvious.
The way the ostracize, outcast and shun those not of their exact kind and followings is a key and critical proof that it is cultism.
The LDS Mormonism church and all sects of it are very fond of using this tactic. I went through it from them myself when I stopped believing in all that religious stuff. Not just family turned on me, but the whole religious community and churches as a whole.They stick together, back each other up, even when they know they are in the wrong.
It is even tougher when most of the community are all members for the most part of that same cult tied religion. Which was the case with Lori especially when it was requested she be evaluated and the officers involved through that early process before he was killed. Those involved were all members of the same cult church denomination..possibly even the same exact church.
This is what they all lead to eventually in some form or fashion and manner. Tragedy, heartache, grief, pain and loss, suffering and some point of a WTF moment..and people try to understand and are left to try to figure it out.
It was all clear well before.. they're cults.. religious cults are more prone to this type of tragedies.
I often try to warn people to really take a look at any and all denominations and faith, faith belief religions and churches and whatever they call themselves in accordance to a religion of a god deity... look closely and in depth from a stance non affiliated and almost against them and see if the BITE model of cultism applies to them in any way or means..if so run away..far away from them. As it is said, not all cults are religions but all religions are cults..especially Abrahamic belief related ones.
It all came to late for this family to actually step up and out and put an end to all these cult ideologicalisms and ways.. to do so long before these tragedies could ever happen.

Like Zac stated towards the end of this interview, nobody once ever asked the accused for their side of the story. That has always baffled me how someone can lie and disparage someone’s reputation, and yet, not one person that was told the lies, ever questioned or got the side of the story from the accused….Unbelievable!

Wow. How was Lori able to keep Charles phone! Why didn't the police take the phone the day of Charles death as evidence. She told the police that very day she and Charles argued over phone!!!. This makes me angry. Terrible police work!!!

Police are lazy. My friend's husband is a cop and he is as lazy as possible at his job. They just want to collect their paychecks without actually doing any police work. And they get away with it because we have this misplaced reverence for police.

I'm watching this two days after Lori was found Guilty of the murders of Tylee, JJ and Tammy. The crazy stuff in the trial about the shape the bodies were in when they found them and the texted between Lori and Chad😢😢😢😢 so awful

His Dad, Adam Cox, brought up the truth, of what he knew, to his and Lori's parents ( about Charles death) and they immediately kicked their son out of their home, while he was visiting them. They were done with Adam AND his son. Very sad, her parents seem to be high enablers to Lori's crazy.

I listened to Adam's call. I know everything he said was the truth and matched what Zak had said in his interviews. Adam didn't need to pause and think about what he'd heard and seen!
It's pretty bad that his own mother kicked him out and stopped speaking to him and Zak. She's a poor excuse for a mother, just like Lori. Had they been at the house when Alex and Lori murdered Charles, the mother and Summer probably would have cheered them on!

Adam and Zak are much better off without that evil family.
Don't leave out Lori's son Colby, he didn't know anything about his Mom moving to Idaho, or that she has Married Chad daybell until the news hit that his brother and sister were missing. My Heart reaches out for him and Adam and Zack every one of them were badly affected by Lori and Chad's poor choices.

My full and wholehearted prayers go out to this young man. I cannot fathom the grief, blame and guilt he carries. I sincerely hope/pray/wish he finds some sense of peace. I understand losing family horrifically to crime and more than one but never like this.
I cannot begin to imagine and I believe he must be one of the bravest people to exist to be able to articulate and assist. I only hope that it helps him process his pain and grieve in as healthy a way as possible. Too many people have been lost in this disgusting tragedy.
This interview was so informational. I almost forgot about Zac living with Lori and Charles....There is NO way she is unfit to stand trial
IMO I think the judge is dotting his I,s and crossing his T,s....So that his bases are covered against appeal issues later
This is one of the most fascinating interviews of the entire case. I could feel my own dysfunctional family as he discussed it. Everything seemed real as opposed to the factual interviews and tabloid type stories that have dominated this case. It may have been hard for him to go on camera, but there are lessons to be learned for all of us here.
I heard about these interviews when in Gray Hughes' chat about Mollie Tibbetts murder earlier this evening.

But what is so sad is how almost the whole cox family sided with Lori without even speaking to Charles! N Ive been saying Alex was offed or even committed suicide just to protect her! Tylee knew her mom and Alex planned this and she was killed for knowing too much! Ugh. It's just horrific what they did to both children but to shoot her and then to cut her into pieces and burn her like that by her own uncle and that evil POS Chad makes me physically sick! Lori was like an infection, she got inside & controlled so many. It makes sense hearing this, why her mother lied about talking to JJ when we know he was already dead. This familial bullying tactic is appalling. Definitely not within Zac's control. If the PD had taken Charles seriously or acted after his murder this could have ended so differently, these questions need answering at some point. To think even after Charles feared for his life he was still thinking of her and trying to help her. My heart hurts for Zac and the many innocent family & friends caught up in this web of evil destruction & devastation.
I hope there is an investigation into the breakdown among Arizona police dept and investigation of Charles' complaints and death. In these states the first responders need additional training in dealing with these cult situations.
Her mother, Summer, Melanie and probably more need to face charges as well 😡

I've been saying since the day Charles was murdered... Melanie Gibb knows so much more than she lets on.
There's a recording out there of Melani Gibb speaking to a fb friend on the phone. She basically said she knew everything! Also, she was staying with Lori just before Charles was killed.
Melani & David were staying with Lori when JJ was killed.
She lied to cops about JJ being with her when they did the welfare check on him. She is involved.

She did not say that she knew about the murders when they happened, let alone in advance. Lori and Chad were recorded trying to convince her that JJ was safe and that Tammy's death was natural.
Dear Zac.... most of us humans are haunted by something we wish we could have done better, and differently, in our lives; we think and believe that we could have been perfect if we had just tried harder. We must keep in mind that we are mere humans, and that means making mistakes continually; we must learn to grant the compassion we feel for others to ourselves, as well. Many people feel your pain, and are sending love and comfort to you.
So well said. And absolutely true. Hindsight is always 20/20. Zac did the best he could at the time with the information he had. No one could have imagined that Lori would start wiping out her family.

_Lori's cousin told in an interview how Lori, when she was about 15, was driving at night with a boyfriend of hers and a cat was walking across the street...the boyfiend said to Lori he is going to try and run the cat over...which he proceeded to do. The cousin said Lori was NOT FASED AT ALL and continued to laugh and chat as if nothing had happened. We all know the first sign of being a psychopath as a child is cruelty to animals. I rest my case._
