Creating a shohin larch bonsai

In this episode I'm creating a shohin with a Yamadori larch.
The tree has been collected from the Wales mountains about 2 years ago, and now ready for its first work.
In this video I demonstrate work on the deadwood with handtools.

Absolutely loved where you went with the wiring of this Larch. I managed to obtain about a dozen of these Welsh yamadori larch back in 2015 and they have been very challenging. Great video and nicely presented :)

Thanks for the video, nice tree. Can you remind me if the large bark stripping tool you used here is a hoof knife. I’m trying to find one online but don’t see them with that big a curve on them…. Found it ‘wood carving knife / gouge’

Nice music, but your don't need it, especially at the end. Can't hear a word you're saying at finally eval ... then you crank up the music. I'm not here for your choice in music, I'm here to learn.
Very cool outcome with all that work, though.
