FYI, when setting up your IK constraint; you can just set the tip bone in the Two Bone IK Constraint inspector and then right click the top bar of the Two Bone IK Constraint inspector and select Auto Setup from Tip Transform.
I need some help, for some reason when I set everything up it freezes my animations, I dont know why. It just freezes it on the first frame. Edit: I checked the console for warnings or errors, it said the Avatar is invalid even though I have one... ;-;
Yea it it, but I checked the errors if there were any errors. And it said something about the avatar being humanoid and the avatar "missing a HumanDescription" or something like that.
you can just turn off the rig! I just find it way easier to have a rig so that you can animate in the same app as the game so you don't have to keep re-importing your models with new animations

Was looking for this for days, thanks!!
Super clear, thanks a lot!
6:00 but what if i have no animations at first?
Then you should be able to move the ik and it should work regardless

And it's connected to the animator?

@@CGSmoothie i am deactivating the constraint so that the normal annimation of running etc should be continued but the hand stays on the t pose
I mean turn off the rig as a whole
I don't know if deactivating just the rig component will stop it
How are you importing character with material?
Mixamo Y-Bot and X-Bot comes with just the color material by default.
Other models requires you to import the textures.
Very cool 👍
Thank you! Hope it helps!
Probably not going to be using it since Im not making any games, I just thought I should comment, but it is still very interesting!
