Love the departure out of DFW. Never gets old and even with the soup, the brief glimpse of the terrain looks pretty accurate. I used to live about 10 mins from the airport and would always go out to Founder's Plaza to watch the planes come in and take off. Still dreaming of the day I can follow in my dad's footsteps (former 757/767 International Captain; Retired as 787 Check Airman)...but I know I got a long way to go even at 34 years old.
Jeff favignano you should do a special video for the end of 2019 where you fly any plane but have failures on.

It's been asked for a while now, problem is he could lose an Engine right after takeoff, land, videos done. Not much time to put ads in and keep the money coming in for more content.

Lol Jeff, you actually opened all your doors, not closing them - at 02:00 all your door lights on overhead panel are illuminated. I've also been caught out by Zibo's door interface on the tablet a few times. Luckily the mod closes them for your automatically just before the push. :)

As a complete noob to flight sims, and watching te=hem tbh, this is really cool and hyper realistic which is great to see from a "video game" stand point. Id love to learn how to do this but I cant afford this sim and id probs kill millions of people if i even tryed to get in the cockpit lol. I’m a noob with instruments but did you not set your altimeter (right side of the PFD) to the destination altitude or does it always show true elevation? You landed at 1200

Jeff, you had a 40+ tail wind out of the west, so that would automatically mean you would land into the wind. So no, they didn’t change the landing pattern on you. Entertaining content as usual tho!

Little tip:
Takeoff is not performed with VNAV in the 737, but with N1 and bugging the speed up, and reaching the flaps 1 speed, the flaps can be selected up :)
@flightdeck2sim makes great videos about this stuff and operating the 737NG in general!

Still a very smooth landing in spite of coming down kind of hot. I really enjoy the 737-800, it’s very forgiving. A 747 wouldn’t have been as compliant.

Hey! Big fan of your videos, I've been a long time watcher for years so keep it up. What gaming pc do you have and what are your specs? It's time for me to upgrade from a crappy 6 year old laptop to a gaming pc. I'm a flight/truck simmer so I'd want everything to run smoothly like all your videos! I've been trying to find the best options for a pc that can run fsx very well for a very long time. There is just too many options and it's making me stressed haha. If you could comment with exactly what specs you have that would be very helpful, from one simmer to the next!
