- 🌞Hi everybody! I'm sharing an abstract mixed media art journal tutorial today and dive into mark making and transparent layering. Layers with texture and colours create depth in your abstract work. It makes your pieces interesting and the process is so enjoyable. For my spread I am using handmade collage papers, acrylic inks, paint pens, pencils and a few stamps.

Definitely. But it will take some time. I have started 3 at once so I don't have to wait for pages to dry.
Spain has action but UK doesn't sadly. They have a great collection of craft materials soooo cheap and good quality. Bx
Unfortunately they don't have an online shop. They craft supplies are great! Just the papers are usually not my faves, those for painting or drawing. But this journal is fabulous!
What is that brown transparant paper you stamped on?
I love the look of the brown paper! Does anyone know a good source for this paper in the United States?

It's from www.action.com/ these are only in Europe and don't have an online shop.
@@SusanneRose Thanks do much! My daughter who lives in Vienna was able to find an Action shop nearby and just sent me 3 of them. You’re right they were only 1,99€ a piece!! Btw I loved this video 🥰
