Art Journal Tutorial for Beginners with Collage Fodder and Mixed Media

🌞Hi there,I'm sharing a mixed media art journal page tutorial using collage combined with acrylic inks for the background and flowers from our Pencil Marks 7 stamp set. I started this spread by adhering some of my handmade collage papers in blue shades. To get the best surface to work on top of with acrylic inks I coverd it with a thin layer of clear gesso. After this was dry I did some stamping with the bold leaf from Pencil Marks 7 and the ticket stamp from Mixed Media Marks 1. I then coloured the spread with acrylic inks in turquoise, prussian blue and white. While this was drying I prepared my flowers. I stamped them to a left over paint paper with black ink and cut them out. I coloured the center with acrylic markers and added some white dots with a posca pen.
