I can easily see this ship nestling just behind the front lines of Imperial space, receiving damaged frigates and corvettes in her forward hangars for emergency repairs while constantly receiving deliveries of freshly-assembled TIEs to distribute to freighters and carriers for deployment to the front lines. And if the conflict on a planet becomes too heated, she can jump in herself and provide a direct forward repair station to the front lines, while remaining an unassailable target thanks to her massive ion cannons and turbolaser banks. @@SephirothRyu well the only good ship design imho from this mess was the resurgence class. Im not entirely sold on its weapons count among other things but it seemed a decent step forward from the older imperial class.
Awesome design. I gotta say that this is what was missing from the prequels. New Empire or whatever they were called now Star Destroyers. New dynamic designs and panning and following shots like this. George Lucas would've given us new Tie Fighters and new rebel ships and just a slew of new ships to appreciate. OUTSTANDING!!
I desperately hope that this fan film blows up once it finally is released. Imagine Star Wars Theory or Blind Wave reacting to this once its completed!
Those are axial turrets, they look like that because they can rotate the whole way around, for a very large field-of-view. They're common on the larger ships such as the Assetor and Allegiance class ships, but its nice to see them in such detail.
That is one beautiful and awe inspiring imperial ship. It fits so well into the universe, I wouldn't bat an eyelid seeing it pop up in a star wars movie set during the galactic empire. Heck it's better than the designs Disney has come up with so far to be perfectly honest. Great work my dude. Would love to see someone like Eckharts ladder or Spacedock do an in depth rundown of its functions, history and tech specs some day!
I honestly can't even remember if it existed yet by the time this comment was written, but the Imperial Gozanti in the Mandalorian was fucking GORGEOUS! As was the Arquitens cruiser.
Very Pretty. I love the protected Hanger Bay Design. Best Parts: - Good choice of a variation of the music. - I think you get the Star Wars "greebling" down really well. - The blending with the other ships and just the overall quality of the model and animation is top-notch! A couple considerations: - It feels a bit over-gunned for its size and role (fleet carrier). From Wikipedia, the Imperial Star Destroyer 2 had 8 Octuple Turbolaser Barbets. The Magister ship seems roughly the same size based on the escorting Interdictor, but with much less internal volume, yet appears to have 36! of these monsters. - I'd consider rearranging the ion cannons where they are grouped with the Octuple Barbets. The cannon turrets are so big that they block the turret firing lines in a lot of cases. - In the X-Wing Games fighters, shuttles, and other small ships took damage from the engine wash of capital ships. The hanger on the aft of your version of the Interdictor might be high enough to avoid this, but the one on the Magister looks like this would be a major concern for anything exiting the aft hanger. Thanks for sharing with us!
This is probably your best work, and THE BEST imperial mother ship secuence ever seen in a screen. My GOD. I'm loosing my mind looking at those windows and lights/rooms behind. The use of the light, the level of details, the camera walk, the vintage texture mixed with a smart and amazing design... You are an absolute genius. What a CGI artist for a new generation of (please GOOD) Star Wars movies. George, please, GET THIS MAN!!! 🙌
Park that interdictor in the central wedge (after retracting the flight command bridge), dock the two nebulons in the bottom bay and you now have a battleship/carrier that transports its own fleet/blockade in one package and deploys when it arrives in-system. Don't have to worry about co-ordinating ship jumps and dry-dock repairs can be carried out whilst berthed!
IMHO, Star Wars still has one of, if not the most satisfying FTL transition in fiction. Rogue One especially, the ships coming in and out of Hyperspace just felt awesome, especially the POV from the one XWing entering into the Battle of Scarif.
Soooo Incredible nice design. I mean you often see this ridicoulous overpowered stuff, but this is more reasonable in regard to strenght and weaknesses. I love it!! Keep going, nice Work!!
"Okay you majestic bastard, you earned my respect. However you also piqued my interest. Orders: ALL FIGHTERS SCRAMBLE!" But seriously we NEED to see a full-on scramble order out of this beast. Excellent work, but we need more...
I love this! I noticed the reactor bulge at the back end, in between the main engines. Also the secondary engines that weren't lit, I think? Love the giant turbolaser batteries and the noticeable ion cannon bulbs. However, I feel like this ship has lots of vulnerabilities, namely the large open space that is the main hangar, and how a lucky shot seems like it would go straight through to the reactor. I'm assuming there would be blast shields that would come down when needed? Of course, I know a carrier like this wouldn't be on the front lines and would be well protected, but still looks dangerous. And while I know it's huge, the triangle shape makes me think of the thin spire on Rebels' Nebulon B's, and how that's a weak spot. This ship is a whole lot more massive, so I don't think it would be a problem, but it made me think. Not trying to knock your design, I think it fits in well with the Imperial aesthetic and fits in-universe, but I see some of the same in-universe vulnerabilities as I see on other ships. Is there something I'm missing that would (hopefully) make me wrong?
I like the vulnerabilities; every ship has them. If they don't, there's probably some fault in ventilation and cooling that's going to come back to bite it later, or you're not going to be able to transfer personnel to and from it (*coughcough Allegiance-class design cough*). The "vulnerabilities" are covered by the gun batteries all along its surface, the escort ships around it, and (as you noted) the Admiral's discretion not to use this ship as a brawler. It's excellent for sieging planets, backing up fleets, and coordinating every ship in the sector...but it's not going to want to face two dozen Y-wing bombers or three Mon Cal cruisers at close range. Even then, the Rebellion would REALLY have to break through a lot of fighter lines to even think about taking shots at those hangar bays...and even a titan like this is going to be able to swing about and maneuver.
It will never be a part of Tr primarily because of how the ship is fanon with the role already being fulfilled with the Secutor Class. Which, the mod also likes to stick with Legends (although, they will make their own designs if needs be such as with the EoTH).
This could be a great Eoth combo similar to the Peltast long range cannon. Empire like engineering with thrawn input on what a capital ship would look like in an era post gavrisom treaty. Fingers crossed haha
I am in awe. Can't believe how good your videos are... This is a rare feat when you see a video and have no idea how did one manage to make it look so realistic, but at the same time maintain the feel and look of the scenes from OT. I wish movies had graphics like this.
I got to say, really amazing. its big, but not too big. the hole in the middle provides cheaper construct and a safer place for fighters to quickly launch. also the bridge isn't too exposed. being well defended from multiple sides. would be even better if it can repair smaller ships. the ultimate fleet support and tender
After the request of a new type of carrier by the request of grand admiral thrawn, thrawn wanted an outer tour of what type of ship he would be adding to his fleet. grand director Howard gave an early tour of the ship to thrawn

Just noticed the small command bridges over the main hangars, as the main bridge would not be able to look directly down. God, the attention to details in this ship is mesmerizing, I watched this video over and over and ther are still more to be seen. You did a amazing job with this, really, I am at a loss for words to describe how much I love this ship
With the one main big hanger, I was thinking this could be one hell of a fleet carrier. Not just ties, but something bigger to be brought to the battle. Awesome work folks. Maybe we could see more designs in say squadrons? More maps? Doesn't hurt to ask.
Amazing! You really get a good idea of what this ship is capable of with a sequence like this. The placement and amount of weapons feel completely appropriate for this kind of ship. And then there's the smaller ships. I love how you've adopted EC's Imperial Nebulon B design, it fits right in next to the Lancers. The best part of your animations is undoubtedly the way everything looks like it's made with miniatures and filmed with old cameras like in the original trilogy. Truly splendid work!
This is beautiful. When they make a Star Wars game that will allow me to go inside of a ship of this detail, I will officially glue my VR goggles to my face and never come back to Earth.
OH MY GOD. The lighting, the design, the negative space Star Destroyer concept, the multiple hangers, the interiors, the sound design, the shadows! You are a Starship God my good man!! Absolutely spectacular work!
It feels like every time I watch this video, I notice more details I previously missed. There are several banks of laser cannons I just noticed, as well as what may be a few Ion cannons dotted around the ship in ball turret form. The play of light and shadow among the fleet is just as excellent as the sound design. That ominous rumble as we move around the stern of the ship has me grinning as we fly past. Thanks for sharing this with us, so WORTH the wait!
Yes officer, this man right here, his animations are just insanely good, he's too dangerous to be left alive!! Those nebulon frigates look really like they were made for the empire, so cool!! The animations, the lighting on the big ships, the textures.. fantastic work!

@@SephirothRyu well the only good ship design imho from this mess was the resurgence class. Im not entirely sold on its weapons count among other things but it seemed a decent step forward from the older imperial class.
The Problem with the sequels IS they have terrible shots of the Capital ships
Awesome design. I gotta say that this is what was missing from the prequels. New Empire or whatever they were called now Star Destroyers. New dynamic designs and panning and following shots like this. George Lucas would've given us new Tie Fighters and new rebel ships and just a slew of new ships to appreciate. OUTSTANDING!!
There’s some epic stories that could be told about this.
Fantastic, such good design and rendering!
I desperately hope that this fan film blows up once it finally is released. Imagine Star Wars Theory or Blind Wave reacting to this once its completed!
i think they're aware of it my dude
Why people nowdays is so focused on what an TH-camr reactions are feels.. odd..
Other persons shouldn´t tell you what to think/feel about something.
You are correct, what I'm saying is that I want this fan film to receive all of the recognition it deserves.
A full two and a half minutes of eye candy. You could play this clip multiple times and find some new detail every time. Absolutely astounding work.
I realliy liked the cool little detail that looked like Hoth ion cannons on the hull. Very amazing work!
"It's got Ion cannons!" me seeing that part. Love it.
@Csősz Máté They have to get the old lizard in chief to pay for it first..
Those are axial turrets, they look like that because they can rotate the whole way around, for a very large field-of-view. They're common on the larger ships such as the Assetor and Allegiance class ships, but its nice to see them in such detail.
Everything is AMAZING! But for some reason, hearing the engines just made me ‘melt.’ 🤤
Best Parts:
- Good choice of a variation of the music.
- I think you get the Star Wars "greebling" down really well.
- The blending with the other ships and just the overall quality of the model and animation is top-notch!
A couple considerations:
- It feels a bit over-gunned for its size and role (fleet carrier).
Eckhart sent me, you sir earned a like and a subscription. Great work!
Came from Eckhartsladder and I had to sub. The modeling on this is insane
Oh that is beautiful.
The amount of ties this carrier will be able to deploy.
To me this ship is like the Empire's version of the Rebel's MC80 "Home One" ship.
*Laughs in Gunboats*
I got the chills while the camera was swinging around the back of the ship. Thanks for keeing the real Star Wars spirit alive. Excellent work!
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed this more than Episode 789 combined!
no...Episode 789 combined than times 2!
lately, i'm getting into 3D modelling and it's mindblowing how much work you put in this Ship, with all this detail.
i love the design!
I love it how you actually see the ion cannon next to the turbo laser batteries, just like it would be on a proper ISD 1
Mind successfully blown. You have amazing talent, my man. Truly amazing.
Thank you so much 😀
This is probably your best work, and THE BEST imperial mother ship secuence ever seen in a screen. 🙌
Seriously Disney are you paying attention
Park that interdictor in the central wedge (after retracting the flight command bridge), dock the two nebulons in the bottom bay and you now have a battleship/carrier that transports its own fleet/blockade in one package and deploys when it arrives in-system. Don't have to worry about co-ordinating ship jumps and dry-dock repairs can be carried out whilst berthed!
Watching this gorgeous monstrosity of a ship jump into, and out of hyperspace would be a treat for the eye
IMHO, Star Wars still has one of, if not the most satisfying FTL transition in fiction. Rogue One especially, the ships coming in and out of Hyperspace just felt awesome, especially the POV from the one XWing entering into the Battle of Scarif.
Watched more than twice here at work... Showing some Star Wars fans the OUTSTANDING work. Sharing to everyone I know.
that sound design was incredible, very similar to large earth rockets
Soooo Incredible nice design. I mean you often see this ridicoulous overpowered stuff, but this is more reasonable in regard to strenght and weaknesses. I love it!! Keep going, nice Work!!
That is one hell of an introduction to this ship! Wow!
I agree
"Okay you majestic bastard, you earned my respect. However you also piqued my interest. Orders: ALL FIGHTERS SCRAMBLE!"
But seriously we NEED to see a full-on scramble order out of this beast.
Aww, well - I just modeled it off some concept art I thought was cool. :D www.artstation.com/artwork/W2D6QD
Came over from EckhartsLadder.
☆☆ Outstanding ☆☆
I subscribed right away.
That's just perfect, When I think about Star Wars, thats what I imagine, that vibe!
Eckhart sent me! Loving your work!
Someone get this design to the Thrawn's Revenge team - I can't be the only one who wants to be able to build a fleet of these!
@coreyloses pleeease
@@somerandompersonidk2272 Tho they did put some fannon ships in EAW, like the Secutor Class itself was kinda an fannon ship in a way.
@@loganwhitney8471 Secutor is Cannon, its actually in one of the edge of the empire books which is considered cannon
Absolutely stunning work. Well done, sir.
Intimidation on a massive scale. Impressive! Most impressive!
This is some of the most beautiful work I have ever seen keep it up and may the force be with you!
The imperial nebulan bs add a really nice touch
I am in awe. Can't believe how good your videos are... This is a rare feat when you see a video and have no idea how did one manage to make it look so realistic, but at the same time maintain the feel and look of the scenes from OT. I wish movies had graphics like this.
I love all the weapons on the ships, especially the octuple barbette turbos
Star Wars in 8K
Simply amazing work!
Outstanding work Howard. This has all the right look and feel. A modernized version of the OT Star Wars.
Wonderfully stunning work sir
Thank you so much 😀
this gives me the feeling of when i'm watching a star wars movie for the first time
I got to say, really amazing. its big, but not too big. the hole in the middle provides cheaper construct and a safer place for fighters to quickly launch. also the bridge isn't too exposed. being well defended from multiple sides.
would be even better if it can repair smaller ships. the ultimate fleet support and tender
After the request of a new type of carrier by the request of grand admiral thrawn, thrawn wanted an outer tour of what type of ship he would be adding to his fleet.
grand director Howard gave an early tour of the ship to thrawn
The quality of your work is just mind blowing and I'm not only talking about all those amazing 3d models, but also animations and sounds, every second is enjoyable.
The corporation with other 3d artists is cool too, I see some stuff from EC Henry and Fractalsponge
Sound effects, music, detail are all spot on and impressive
Absolutely beautiful,great job
Thank you! 😊
one of most beautiful Star wars artwork i have ever seen
With the one main big hanger, I was thinking this could be one hell of a fleet carrier. Not just ties, but something bigger to be brought to the battle. Awesome work folks. Maybe we could see more designs in say squadrons? More maps? Doesn't hurt to ask.
Dude this made my day! This is absolutely AMAZING! Keep up the excellent work you absolute unit!
My word, THAT'S an impressive ship. Great work!
Fantastic work! Love it & the music is perfect too!
Thank you!
- The composer of the soundtrack
To quote Director Krenic, "Oh its beautiful."
Holy moly. This channel is gold waiting to be awoken.
Finally! The Mighty Magister! It's been so awesome seeing the WIPs for this. And, I'm glad you decided to boost the GI, haha.
Your stuff is amazing! I cannot wait to see more. Thank you so much for sharing your works.
Absolutely amazing. Great work! Hope we see this in one of ur fan film.
This absolutely outstanding. Would love to see this shot in Andor S2
OH MY GOD. The lighting, the design, the negative space Star Destroyer concept, the multiple hangers, the interiors, the sound design, the shadows! You are a Starship God my good man!! Absolutely spectacular work!
Absolutely amazing! I just want to watch this over and over to take in every detail of the ship.
The visuals. The music. The sound design. All top notch. Your stuff is some of my favorite content on YT.
this is very high quality you have here, the engine sounds are also as amazing
who did also came here from EckhartsLadder?
btw, this is some outstanding work
It feels like every time I watch this video, I notice more details I previously missed.
Everything looks great but man, the Intredictor is the best
Great job. I can watch this over and over and over again.
Yes officer, this man right here, his animations are just insanely good, he's too dangerous to be left alive!!
Those nebulon frigates look really like they were made for the empire, so cool!!
The animations, the lighting on the big ships, the textures.. fantastic work!
howie your models are the first i've seen that capture what my five or six year old eyes saw in 1987/1988 when i watched the empire strikes back for the first time and was introduced to star wars.
The detail on every ship mate is stunning. Those hanger bays .. wow.
I can't believe a real person made this. Absolutely incredible!
That is a level of detail I have never seen in the movies. Also it gives off the vibe of a competent empire.
This is amazing work. I love it and the design!!
Now we need someone to build a 3 meter long lego version of it.
And then sell it on Aliexpress for 200 bucks.
Man this is really amazing. Everything from the visual detail to the sound is great. You never disappoint. Cant wait to see what ya do next!
That was amazing. Very well done, the lens flare on the sun was a little heavy, but aside from that it was fantastic. I loved how you could look inside all the windows of the bridge. Professional quality on the model and then some.
thats one monster of a ship and it looks sick
