I’ve literally bought the PlayStation plus membership that lets you have PlayStation now just so I could play Infamous 1 and 2 😂 I love infamous second son and first light but 1 and 2 were always my favourite to play on the ps3 era, they gave you the ultimate power fantasy and expanded more on powers in the second game with ice and fire+oil abilities but also being able to switch between different styles of your attacks like the way your grenades work or how your blasts affect enemies. Hoping someday Sucker Punch remaster or have a sequel with more focus on a single power instead of multiple like with Cole and Fetch.
Man, this really reminds me of the early gaming videos I used to watch as a kid. This was way back before the Let's Play was ever a thing, probably back in 08 or 09, where it was just showing off the gameplay from some random part of the game and maybe some music in the background. I don't know, this just made me nostalgic for that time.
I specifically remember gaming vids from that era mostly playing like two Linkin Park songs, Paralyzer by Finger Eleven, then starting in 2009 Trance by 009 Sound System. But I do remember Let's Plays being a thing in that era, even way back then. I remember Fallout 3 and Banjo Kazooie/Tooie being some of the most popular games to LP in that period.
PS -now's- versions are still a thing, hrm. [shrugs a bit] Minus the pre-RFI Blast era IF games' DLCs still though (for some Questionable reason, *suckingpunch, sony.* ).

I purchased Infamous in 2021 (around the time they initially announced the closing of the PS store) and was able to use the gigawatt blades. they must be free dlc now.
I love this game and i play the first one and 2 second one and i also love how you can get black and red lighting powers such a beatitiful mixed color wish thsy had it for the second game. Oh well i lovs both and im happy fod that
I still believe Infamous 2 should have had its own version of the Gigawatt Blades. Maybe it there could be two versions one of which is a ice version called Sub Zero Blades or something while the other could be a Gigawatt blade variant where you coat your Amp with electricity to turn it into a Gigawatt Spear
Yeah, having some sort of Amp power up to call back the Gigawatt blades would've been pretty cool, but I guess they thought more people would want to use ranged attacks and just put effort into stuff like finishers and throws.

I don't know why I'm writing this but damn I'm so unlucky. I started playing inFamous on a license disk right after the 4.90 update for PS3 came out. I found out that there is a DLC for this game but it's unavailable right now. I wanted to jailbreak my ps3 to at least download it from the internet but the recent update ruined it all... It's just some funny perk but I really wanted those
It really does depend on Sucker Punch if they want to make a new Infamous game. And not gonna lie, seeing an Infamous game take place after the bad ending of 2 would be pretty cool. Maybe you could make the Second Son story line a sort of spin-off series. Make the ones that took place after the good ending not have numbers, but subtitles instead, and give the ones that take place after the bad ending that still involve Cole the numbered titles. I've heard a lot of good things about the Prototype games, but I've still not played them. Definitely on the list of games I should get around to sometime.
Yeah, getting the first three Infamous games in one collection would be great to make them more accessible, and make sure Festival of Blood isn't lost, it would be much better than the subscription service sony's offering now.

Second son is a very good game too, but Cole is more interesting character for me, and his storyline is much better, it’s my opinion or just nostalgia. Very underrated franchise.
@@alexbayer2365 Yeah, I really hope Sony let's Bluepoint (If they're still around, I actually don't know if they are) make more collections like they did before, especially for series's that need it like Ape Escape. And yeah, I think Second Son is a good game too, even if I do think Delsin's potential was kinda squandered by the fact that the karma system was most likely an obligation, making the story spend less time developing him, and more so making room for the other playthrough, (Now that's a vid I plan to make one day) plus Cole has had two games worth of story, and Del's only had one chance, and considering how many people don't like the story of Second Son, I feel like SP is just going to abandon Del's story if they ever come back to the franchise, and that hurts as someone who actually liked SS's story.

Been really into infamous again, I might buy them again on PSN to play them. Been watching Infamous 2 scenes and I forgot how chilling and just awesome “the beast” entrance is. The music. Cole was a favorite.
Okay... God. They are real. I thought it was a weird case of the Mandella Effect. Cause I remember having these at one point, but now I don't. How do you get them? I only had them once and I thought you unlocked them from a substation or something like that. But I beat the game on Hard 100% all blast shards, and dead drops. With all but the 12000 xp power up unlocked. And... Still don't have them. So if you could fill me in. That would be greatly appriciated. Damn! The ones for the Evil side look cool as hell!
These were free DLC so the reason you still don't have these is because you haven't downloaded them on whatever new account or PS3 you have, hope this helped.
@@Group-935 It should be worth mentioning that you can’t use them at the very beginning of the game. You need to purchase the first upgrade for them before you can use them.

Maybe like a coop mechanic. Depending which path you both take will effect the ending like for example if cole decided to do good route. And delsin do bad. They'd probably have to fight to the death
@@EasyTargetNIN Yeah, getting some kind of representation for the Gigiawatt Blades in Infamous 2 would've been nice. Interesting idea for another game too; Not sure how I would feel if Cole came back because of how that may kinda undermine the ending of Infamous 2 but it could be an idea worth looking at. And having some sort of co-op or two stories switching perspectives sometimes would also be pretty cool with both Cole and Delsin, sadly I don't think Delsin's going to be revisited even if we get a new Infamous because of how negatively the fan base thinks of Second Son, especially with its story, don't get me wrong, I like Second Son, but I'm kind of in the minority in that conversation, which makes me think if Sucker Punch ever does make another Infamous game they'll just forget about Delsin, and make a new protagonist. Which I don't dislike the idea of, but at the same time Delsin does have a lot of potential, and what about the ending of the Paper Trail side quest? I honestly don't blame SP for not doing anything with the series at this point with how much their backed into a corner when it comes to "What should we do next?".

Was the lightning strike hitting the boat. And you remember how Cole heals right? Right so there is a possible chance he was revived by it. Delsin. I do admit I don't really like him. But this sequal could be a good chance to make him more likeable for audience especially with the duo of Cole himself Sequal could focus on what they had planned for the future of second sons. Maybe more time shit is involved. To the point Cole needs to figure out how to time travel and take delsin with him to save the future or present. Something crazy for a real finale. Hell I'd be happy for a remaster too for the first 2 games
@@EasyTargetNIN Yeah, I like Delsin, but I can understand why people don't like him, he isn't handled the best. Which is probably because of Sony wanting Second Son to be a launch title for the PS4, that's certainly something you could say about a lot of aspects about SS. And I do actually like the idea of Cole and Delsin teaming up as sort of a passing of the torch to the new generation kinda thing. Reminds me of an idea for a new Dead Rising game that someone had in a comment section where Frank and Chuck, (The protags of the first two games) teamed up with the third games protag, Nick, and having some dialog that was essentially, "I'm getting too old for this" or something like that. I can definitely see Cole at the end if both have good karma being, "Well, you've proved yourself kid, it's your story now" or something to that effect. Not sure how I feel about time travel but maybe that's because it's just so hard to make sense most of the time when a series introduces the concept when it wasn't part of the plot to start with. (Edit: Okay I just remembered that Kessler time traveled in the first game, but the situations would likely be pretty different when compared to your idea and what happened to Kessler) And yes, getting Infamous 1 and 2 on PS4 and 5 in some sort of HD collection, al la the various Mega Man Legacy Collections would be great.

Yeah, they are pretty cool, I do understand not keeping them for the second game though, balancing, and the fact that the Amp exists kinda makes Melee powers obsolete considering Cole doesn't just use his fists for melee attacks now.
Yeah, I've heard the PS3 is pretty hard to record for, my capture card is one of those cheap one's that connect with the HDMI cords so that's why I'm able to record my PS3.

I didn't use a program in the PS3, I did it the old-fashioned way of a capture card, it's one of those cheap ones that you connect from the HDMI cords of the PS3 and your computer.

I didn’t even know the blades were dlc because I got the whole bundle, so I always had them.
FINALLY someone acknowledges them. I had to get PS PLUS myself just to stream the game to try them out.
I loved this game and Prototype.
Especially loved how you could pull some neat trick shots with the rocket power or throwing a Truck at them.

Yeah, getting the first three Infamous games in one collection would be great to make them more accessible, and make sure Festival of Blood isn't lost, it would be much better than the subscription service sony's offering now.
@@SirIsaacFortesque I think Bluepoint Games can make remaster or remake versions if we are talking about infamous from PS3 era. Second son is a very good game too, but Cole is more interesting character for me, and his storyline is much better, it’s my opinion or just nostalgia. Very underrated franchise.
@@alexbayer2365 Yeah, I really hope Sony let's Bluepoint (If they're still around, I actually don't know if they are) make more collections like they did before, especially for series's that need it like Ape Escape.
And yeah, I think Second Son is a good game too, even if I do think Delsin's potential was kinda squandered by the fact that the karma system was most likely an obligation, making the story spend less time developing him, and more so making room for the other playthrough, (Now that's a vid I plan to make one day) plus Cole has had two games worth of story, and Del's only had one chance, and considering how many people don't like the story of Second Son, I feel like SP is just going to abandon Del's story if they ever come back to the franchise, and that hurts as someone who actually liked SS's story.
I’ve played every one of those games and the hell out of them so this so cool and cole is awesome in every version of him. Except for the dlc but otherwise awesome games. They are awesome games.

Been really into infamous again, I might buy them again on PSN to play them. Been watching Infamous 2 scenes and I forgot how chilling and just awesome “the beast” entrance is. The music. Cole was a favorite.
Okay... God. They are real. I thought it was a weird case of the Mandella Effect. Cause I remember having these at one point, but now I don't. How do you get them? I only had them once and I thought you unlocked them from a substation or something like that. But I beat the game on Hard 100% all blast shards, and dead drops. With all but the 12000 xp power up unlocked. And... Still don't have them. So if you could fill me in. That would be greatly appriciated.

These were free DLC so the reason you still don't have these is because you haven't downloaded them on whatever new account or PS3 you have, hope this helped.

Maybe like a coop mechanic. Depending which path you both take will effect the ending like for example if cole decided to do good route. And delsin do bad. They'd probably have to fight to the death

Interesting idea for another game too; Not sure how I would feel if Cole came back because of how that may kinda undermine the ending of Infamous 2 but it could be an idea worth looking at.
And having some sort of co-op or two stories switching perspectives sometimes would also be pretty cool with both Cole and Delsin, sadly I don't think Delsin's going to be revisited even if we get a new Infamous because of how negatively the fan base thinks of Second Son, especially with its story, don't get me wrong, I like Second Son, but I'm kind of in the minority in that conversation, which makes me think if Sucker Punch ever does make another Infamous game they'll just forget about Delsin, and make a new protagonist.
Which I don't dislike the idea of, but at the same time Delsin does have a lot of potential, and what about the ending of the Paper Trail side quest? I honestly don't blame SP for not doing anything with the series at this point with how much their backed into a corner when it comes to "What should we do next?".

Was the lightning strike hitting the boat. And you remember how Cole heals right? Right so there is a possible chance he was revived by it. Delsin. I do admit I don't really like him. But this sequal could be a good chance to make him more likeable for audience especially with the duo of Cole himself
Sequal could focus on what they had planned for the future of second sons. Maybe more time shit is involved. To the point Cole needs to figure out how to time travel and take delsin with him to save the future or present. Something crazy for a real finale.

@@EasyTargetNIN Yeah, I like Delsin, but I can understand why people don't like him, he isn't handled the best. Which is probably because of Sony wanting Second Son to be a launch title for the PS4, that's certainly something you could say about a lot of aspects about SS.
And I do actually like the idea of Cole and Delsin teaming up as sort of a passing of the torch to the new generation kinda thing. Reminds me of an idea for a new Dead Rising game that someone had in a comment section where Frank and Chuck, (The protags of the first two games) teamed up with the third games protag, Nick, and having some dialog that was essentially, "I'm getting too old for this" or something like that. I can definitely see Cole at the end if both have good karma being, "Well, you've proved yourself kid, it's your story now" or something to that effect.
Not sure how I feel about time travel but maybe that's because it's just so hard to make sense most of the time when a series introduces the concept when it wasn't part of the plot to start with. (Edit: Okay I just remembered that Kessler time traveled in the first game, but the situations would likely be pretty different when compared to your idea and what happened to Kessler)
And yes, getting Infamous 1 and 2 on PS4 and 5 in some sort of HD collection, al la the various Mega Man Legacy Collections would be great.
Still kinda pissed this never got in the second game, even if I kinda know why? Gigawatt blades are OP as fuck, you just go around killing everything immediately. I always thought they were cool and very funny.
Yeah, they are pretty cool, I do understand not keeping them for the second game though, balancing, and the fact that the Amp exists kinda makes Melee powers obsolete considering Cole doesn't just use his fists for melee attacks now.

I didn't use a program in the PS3, I did it the old-fashioned way of a capture card, it's one of those cheap ones that you connect from the HDMI cords of the PS3 and your computer.
