      Whitney Simmons thanks for this ! I had family come in the country this Christmas from my home country of Romania 🇷🇴 and I hadn’t seen them in 16 years so I wanted to spend as much time with them as was given and Yeah I missed workouts I was beating myself up but I also knew that I couldn’t get this time back with them but i could go after they left ❤️❤️

      YES! I watch one of her workout videos while I'm on warming up/treadmill/bike...etc. Then will use that workout after warming up, sooo gooood!

    You do not need motivation to work out and eat healthy. You need discipline and determination. Motivation is a perk.

    Yeah on number one. When I lost about 20 pounds awhile ago, I started getting comments that I was too skinny and that I wasn't eating enough and that my friends were worried about me. It's like, I'm just taking care of myself! I feel amazing! I'm not hungry! I'm in shape! Chill!
    Also, thank you for this video. It was inspiring for me. I've skipped a couple of days of yoga and you reminded me I needed to keep going! Thanks!

    Thought this was gonna be another one of those dumb cliche videos thats like "Oh I thought I had to only eat salad" or "Oh I didn't want to get bulky" but these are actually really solid tips, especially the last. I used to make gym my #1 priority to the point my grades were slipping and my health actually suffered because I was so run down trying to gym 5/6 times and week, meal prep, work, study and everything else. So thankyou for spreading this awareness!!!

    Excellent reminders! I hate when people ask me how I get motivated to go to the gym... like for real? I don’t get motivated! I just go because I’m an adult who does things they don’t like because they are good for me. So I think whatever gets you healthier is fine

    yes about people supporting you!! I’m naturally slim so people think that because I’m eating clean I’m “starving” myself, when in reality I’m eating more than I ever have before because I’m planning my meals! They also think that I’m just trying to lose weight when working out when I’m actually trying to bulk up. So frustrating sometimes but I try to ignore it 🍑

      Same! Except I’m not naturally skinny. I used to eat crap and the second I decided to start taking care of myself my friends kept saying that I was starving myself even though I was eating more than I used to. The only difference is I am actually doing it right this time

    ab number 5 PLEASE LISTEN AND DO THIS. missing one day to let your body heal is so much better than doing that workout and hurting yourself further. i kept going when i knew i shouldnt have and i really hurt my shoulder so much that i couldnt lift my arm and it put me out of the gym for a month

    Number one is so real. When I first started I was 108 and I was scrawny and once finally started to put on muscle being in middle school I had a girl tell me I shouldn’t shorts because I had to much muscle. But I eventually learned what I wanted and now I wear shorts almost everyday and I am now 115 pounds ❗️

    When I started my healthy lifestyle two and a half months ago, my husband was so negative and not supportive. It hurt my feelings so bad. Now, I’m 17 lbs lighter and feeling great, and he compliments me every single day. ❤️ He just bought me a food scale and a weight scale today, along with some new shoes 👟. 😘

    I feel like you are the only fitness guru that talks about failure allll the time.....and it’s wonderful!!!! I fail at maintaining a healthy lifestyle in some way just about every single day, and it seems like no one else experiences that. But you are not afraid to explain your own failures and temptations and it is honestly really motivating to know that someone so fit experiences the same struggles as I do. Bad habits won’t break overnight, and it is so important to have reasonable expectations for yourself, and I love how you push that.

    My parents are somewhat supportive. Like there have been incidents where my mom took my salad bag that I bought with my own money and would put avocados and mayo on it, and would fix it for my family. Even though my family isnt a health conscious family and the salad was in the fridge rotting for a week.
    She knows that I dont eat avocados and mayo for health reasons.
    And when I go to store and buy food for myself they would always say that I'm being selfish even though I'm only helping myself Because I know they aren't a diet family.

    I used to feel terrible when I missed a workout, then I realised that if by just missing one workout I was feeling bad, then I wasn't having the healthiest relationship with fitness. I learned to let it go and if I miss a workout, then no big deal, my body and health won't be affected :D Yay! I've been wanting to try the Tula range for a while now! My Insta is @vicdimattia :)

    Omg, the messing and beating yourself up thing is so hard....I feel like I have destroyed the whole progress or the whole day if I eat a cookie on a perfect day. I am afraid to become a crazy obsessive person with it. :( I love weight lifting too! because f how the skin and muscle tone gets better. By the way, how do you track your progress? measurements? weight or clothing sizes? I have been stuck for a while on the same weight but I can see my self, getting smaller and fitter. thanks! :)

    If you see this I just want to say thanks! Im at 4.5 years into my fitness journey and lately I've been going to the gym 2-3 times a week whereas years ago I would barely take one day off every 3 weeks. I've been lacking motivation and inspiration with fitness, although I know its something I won't ever give up completely, your videos help get me to the gym.

    Hey Whit! I'd love a part two video. I also have another idea for a video: Everything Navy. You are a great puppy mom and I'd like to know more about the life of Navy and how you care for him (his routine, diet, exercise, toys, etc).     Definitely a part 2! Those are the tough lessons you learn on a fitness journey, and it's usually the hard way. For me it was figuring out that it's a lot easier to stay motivated when you love your workouts and that's when you see results. That was probably the biggest lesson I learned so far :) My IG is VivienMaron

    Wish money wasn’t a factor for me not getting healthy food and gym membership because of college. Not trying to make an excuse but college is expensive you know? Priorities at a time. Anyone else in the same position?

      Beeen there!! Totally do-able girl you've got this - normally the campus gym fee is included in student fees, I would check on that for sure!!

      Girl I feel you. Try to see if your school has a campus gym but also you can do workouts in your dorm. Check out fitness blender TH-cam. They have a TON of free workout videos and all of them can be done at home . Also look up meal prepping for $30 and you’ll find a ton of videos that’ll show you how to eat healthy inexpensively. You can also search eating healthy on a college budget. There is plenty out there to help when you’re in college, I promise ! Couponing will also help ALOT

    Number three is so true! I used to think I had to run or do a whole bunch of leg exercises cause that’s what most girls do, at least in my area. But I found out that I love weightlifting and exercising my arms it makes me feel so strong and accomplished I loveeee it💕
