I redownloaded it again since deleting it about 8 months ago. I played 3 games. Won the all, got potg on 2. All I thought was "Wow, this game is really dull"
I stopped playing when the role lock system got added. What I liked about the game is that you could play very casually picking and swapping whatever and having to pick DPS for example put me under a lot of pressure to perform because I was taking the role from other people that game. I understand it was from a balance perspective but I felt a casual game like OW didn't really need that balancing and should've been kept more casual
The problem with that was that Blizzard didn’t want Overwatch to be casual, or rather they at least also wanted it to be competitive. They clearly not only wanted ranked to be serious but also wanted Overwatch League to be the next big Esport (would have been cool if it became that but as we know it didn’t). That means they forced themselves into a problem of trying to balance the game for two different groups of people at the same time and that can be very difficult. Role lock was a result of the GOATS meta, something which dominated high level for more than an entire year, but which didn’t affect casuals nearly as much
@@BPViking hey late reply but I completely agree with you. Thats also what I felt. OW tried to be both competitively interesting and casual and ultimately failed at both in my opinion. Sad, I really enjoyed it when it came out
I hope they could try making adding 6v6 to open queue. Since Blizzard just abandoned that mode maybe they could make it way more casual by doing that. qwp Cool video btw, love it ^^
This video was simply a result of my current feelings and seeing some other people feeling similarly. That doesn’t mean the game can’t be fun and everyone has different experiences. Also, if you play the game on and off and you’ve just come back to it then I understand it’s quite fun. Plus it’s always better to play with friends
For me it's the ranking system it keep's changing for the worst I can win 20 game's an still be plat 3 and when I lose I'll get 20 to 30 point's taken for just losing one game that would put me back in gold pules the amount of trash talker's that are in the game like they would put more time in typing bs than playing the game this is why this game no longer my cup of tea. I just hope they make rank were everyone loves it like in ow 1 😮💨
Everyone did not love ranked in Overwatch 1, people just look back on it fondly after the nightmare that was the comp cards in Overwatch 2. Obviously the current ranked system isn't S tier, but I don't think it's that bad. I do agree that people need to stop trash talking tho, but not much Blizzard can do about that
One bring in gold is not the games fault it’s on you. I hopped back on OW and placed low to mid gold. In OW I made an effort to actually get better and rank up and I got to mid plat in a season and now high plat hoping to hit diamond soon. My tank is mid diamond but honestly don’t play tank much in ow 2 so I don’t really count it
Yeah tbh not much has changed since last year except the pve disappointment being shifted over to 5v5 dissatisfaction. Other than that I think a lot of people are just as you say getting burnt out. The gameplay is good but it has a few big issues which just become more and more annoying as time goes on and the content is ok but not good enough to keep people engaged
@@Slice-i6h you are missing some tank combos. Thats it. It felt worse then now for me but im not a tank player at all so maybe i didnt ever care about duo playing with another tank. @@qasd3532 yeaaaah, i think it was like that at least before meet your match. Like Overwatch since the first game tried to be the next CS:GO from update to update. Those devs often forget why people play videogames in the first place :(
I think still complaining about skin pricing and the battle pass (in Overwatch specifically) is ridiculous at this point. It isn’t different from other games nowadays and is in fact better than eg Apex Legends. The pve complaint is obviously valid tho, but at this point you’ve just got to accept it
Ironically, if there were no skins, battle pass, or PvE announcements. There'd be a lot less people complaining. The reason why people are complaining is because Blizzard gave everyone a glimpse of what could've been awesome and then shat on it.
Because it's a scummy cashgrab, thank you very much

😶
TF2 works because they made a solid game and left it alone.
Blizzard justifies their money laundering through pointless patches.
5v5 was pointless.
This point we might as well have just kept overwatch 1 and just add all the new characters onto it

after your 10 free 'welcome back wins' u can get dumpstered again and lose 30 în a row 😂

personaly its because I played it so much that the fun mechanics started to become boring and the flaws got so under my skin that I cant stand them
