This game is so weird to me. It looks nice but the game is bizarre, you can just easily walk past every enemy, most of them don't even attempt to hurt you. There's no reason to fight anything outside of the end of level bosses. So the game is like...20 minutes long, but the gameplay isn't even anything special.
I think these games are rarer, although it is a great game! Amazing Tater and Spud's Adventure are rare as Atlus games are limited releases, Bamse as it is only a Scandinavian release, Agro Soar as it is only an Australian release (although can be bought fairly cheap) and Beethoven on the Game Boy is super rare as no one bought it so got chucked meaning very limited supplies. Oh nearly forgot F1 Pole Position (NTSC VERSION) which is super rare and expensive!
How the bloody Yakopoo do you keep a straight face when going over the games plot? LOL Great review. I'm trying really hard to get into the Gameboy library. The B&W graphics really had me not digging the system back in the day but a more mature, older gamer that I am now may be able to see the library for the gameplay gems that they are.

Trip World is a spectacular example of what the Gameboy is capable of. Pokemon and Mario Land 2 might get all the major praise but it's hard to argue that Trip World isn't one of the best games on the system. But then again, I like Daedalian Opus so take from that what you will.

The cartridge shown is an Asian bootleg, identifiable by the "Game" and not "Game Boy" in the oval on the front. It is a very good label for a bootleg, though.
Glad I watched this video before I decided to spend 10$ of hard earned money on it.... which I did, game is actually really good. Good enough that I came back and left a comment incase there’s others out there having a hard time deciding whether to get it or not. I’m a picky gamer, and I hate spending money. But if I had to say whether or not this game was worth the 10$ plus shipping, the answer is yes. Absolutely love the music btw. 8/10

A damn charming game from Sunsoft but no way I'm paying those rarity prices. get a repro people, much cheaper. I do think pricing is at least able to balance in download only games like charging less for a shorter game is possible while before a cart was X dollars regardless of game length. Game difficulty is another matter, modern standards are way too pandering and easy breezy, I like modern game saves and checkpoints but don't take away the challenge. Still I don't want the coffin nail difficulty of old to come back either because that was often sadistic from developers and masochistic for us. ^_^

I love this game. I got the chance to play it when I loaded up my Everdrive with all of the roms for it.
