Im pretty sure you need to at least break a shadow or heart orb thing in order for the goblins to spawn. On the bright side you got 340 health now

@@kitsicles111 You are correct. In fact you can cancel all natural boss spawns by going underground (IN the underground, not just under dirt).

Note: Fairies can also lead you to a "big" (at least 40 blocks) gold/platinum/hardmode ore vein, and Strange Plants. The most useful things they lead you to are still Life Crystals and Chests, though.

You know of that sloped platform trick people used to get into the lihzahrd temple pre-Plantera? It's usable on all solid block, so projectiles, even yoyos, can easily phase through the wall, with nothing your enemies can do about it.

The amount of spawnrates made me realize that you could probably collect hundreds of gold critters to sell for gold which could be super useful for gear.
You should definetly get the whip from the zoologist, it allows you to attack multiple enemies at the same time and also attack trough walls. *(CORRECTION by @Willdroyd: You can only attack enemies that can walk/exist inside of walls, i.e most bosses and worm type enemies.)*
You can only attack enemies through walls which can also walk/exist inside of walls, ex. Queen Bee ignores walls which is why u can attack her but u cant attack slimes

Something you could have done once you got Iron was make a "Trapdoor", which is a vertical door except enemies can't open them, which would have been easier than your dirt entry-tunnel
For the goblin army, you can get any kind of flail and be fine. The only enemy that can reach you is the goblin sorcerer, who shoots destroyable projectiles. By swinging any flail, you can destroy all of those projectiles before they reach you. Then just walk into the goblins or let NPCs do damage.

I love the high spawn rate challenges, I did a playthrough myself with 30x spawns, but I also added fargo's banner mod that basically made it so you level up from killing enemies and make you deal more damage and take less damage from that enemy, and eventually you just 1 shot that enemy type after like 500 kills. So it gave me the ability to farm slimes/zombies and be able to walk around more freely, and continue to do that to make progression more realistic.
Might make it too easy but sounds fun
@@joebaby9450 It is very adjustable too, and you can always change the difficulty/spawn rate to adjust difficulty. But it is very fun (:
Absolutely loved this mod! Played it with a few others made the game way more difficult! Took 3 hours an 15 minutes but an absolute blast!

FYI If you are in the underground layers when you get the Eye of Cthulhu spawn message, he wont spawn unless you recall back up to the surface.

tip for what happened at 7:00
when your hardcore character gets auto-deleted after you die, the game just takes the player data files and puts them in the recycle bin. if you go to your recycle bin and click "Restore" on both of the associated files, your character will be restored, with all the same items you had before dying.
it definitely can be used to cheat and respawn yourself after dying, but it's useful for deaths like that. i've had plenty of times playing hardcore in multiplayer where i or my friend were killed by invisible enemies and the like, and we use this trick to get around having to remake characters and re-get all our stuff.
a tip for 17:13 is that a goblin army if you have 200 hp AND a shadow/ crimson heart has been broken, and Eye of Cthulhu will only spawn if you're above ground, if you're in the cavern layer/ underground, the eye wont natrually spawn.
