Yes, Connecticut has many beautiful gardens! I love doing these tours. Anyone who has a beautiful garden and wants to be featured, don't hesitate to connect with me!
Oh my goodness Olga!! This was so amazing! This is my dream! Mrs. Grant you are such an inspiration. I have a small organic home nursery. I sell vegetable and herb seedling but my dream is too actually sell the produce from my home garden just like you. You are making such a difference in people lives by supplying home grown produce. Keep doing what you are doing. Blessing. Olga Munroe-Nassau, Bahamas🍅
A true Gardener! Loved following her through her expansive landscape! Amazing. I was awed at her energy. Proof again at how positive gardening is for ones health. I believe I have the same sun hat as Ms Nancy, made me happy.😊
What a delightful, productive garden! Nancy is so gifted to design all those beds with flowers and veggies, thank you for an amazing tour. The house is so picturesque as well🌹🌿🥬🍆🌳🍅🌸
OF COURSE she doesn’t sit on that bench! It’s so funny that at the beginning of the tour the owner is politely reserved but once she gets talking about her garden, she comes to life. 🌸🌸🌸
Nancy Grant is an inspiration. Thank you for walking us through your garden. Loved the formal rose garden and what a beautiful house. To have such beautiful gardens is every gardener's dream. May god bless her and keep her in good health to be able to enjoy and tend to such an amazing garden for years to come! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, I am so impressed by this lady who shared her garden with us. We ça se the love she puts into gardening. And I agree a gardener wants another garden. Thank you.
Wow oh wow this was the most beautiful garden tour ever. She is so sweet and her home is amazing as all her gardens. Oh how I wish my roses looked so good!!!❤❤
Wow!! What beautiful gardens! ... Nancy's lettuces look amazing, btw... Bravo to all of your property, Nancy -- it's really lovely - the house and gardens. Beautiful!!
For many years, I worked on the seed farm in Australia that grows Salanova lettuce seed for the northern hemisphere (our seasons are reversed, so growing seed in the opposite hemisphere ensures growers get the very freshest lettuce seeds). I wonder if Nancy and I ever touched the same lettuce seeds. It's lovely seeing it growing in such a beautiful and well-loved garden.
How interesting! Imagine, seeds which you grew, ended up in Nancy's garden? There are not many gardeners who grow this type of lettuce. Thank you for sharing your story!
What a sweet lady and so inspiring. I hope I get to live a long life. If I do...... finger's crossed that I am still interested in growing and nature. ❤ Living life not just watching it go by.
I believe Nancy has some help with trimming shrubs and trees and supporting the structures in her veg garden. Nancy was a pleasure to talk to. She is very inspiring!
I think her and I could talk gardening as she does and says many things I do. Yes, things are 2 weeks early and I looked back and the Mock Orange and catalpa are two weeks early. It ruined the lovely scent of both because the heat wasn’t quite here and the large amount of rain in WI wasn’t good. I bought a new lawnmower awhile back and laughed when I seen the plastic covering hers as my husband did that and the paint took on marks from the sun heating it up. I wonder if she cuts the raspberries to the ground or canes that are 2 years old? Are they Everbearing? It always confuses me. I have blackberries also and wild blackcaps. Very nice gardens! Thx!
Nancy Grant of Fairview, you are an inspiration!
