Ibrahim Richmond is a former South African Christian priest who recently converted to Islam. He has been in the news because, after embracing Islam, he recently embarked on his first Hajj on an invitation from the Saudi King.
He was previously known as Abraham Richmond. However, after converting to Islam, he changed his name to Ibrahim. According to reports, he was a Christian priest for almost 15 years before his conversion.
Three months ago, Ibrahim Richmond experienced a vivid dream in which he heard a divine voice speaking to him and directing him towards a different path. When this happened, he was sleeping in his small apartment at the church where he had spent fifteen years as a priest. The voice spoke, urging him to instruct his congregation to don garments of pure white.
The dream kept appearing night after night, with each occurrence amplifying the significance of its message. Ibrahim Richmond was moved by this spiritual contact and gathered his devoted followers to share the heavenly vision given to him.
