I have a question does Netflix come already downloaded on it or is it something you have to download yourself? I'm sorry if this sounds stupid but I've never set one of these up before

Hi there. I bought an apple tv a few days ago. I watch darts by streaming with a url in iptv. It was pausing and jumping alot. And after about 10mins or so the apple tv is disconnecting from my ipad. I googled to see if I could find the problem, and found a comment saying it would be better if bluetooth is turned off, so I did that, and its improved, but slightly jumping. And my ipad is still disconnecting. A couple of people have said to plug the ethernet cable into the apple tv then into the modem. Our modem is in another room for my mums laptop, so how am I meant to set my apple tv up with an ethernet cable? Hope you can help, as the apple tv wasnt cheap ☹️ this is what I bought it for

You’ve probably fixed it by now but in case you’re still having problems try deleting the app and download it again from the App Store. It worked for me

I need more layman’s terms. You skipped a few areas, such as: explaining that the remote is rechargeable and does not require a battery, where to plug in the HDMI cable, how to navigate from regular tv/cable to the screen to access Apple TV (HDMI input via the remote), etc. I was looking for literal instructions, not instructions that expected a certain level of competence. Other than that, great video.

Where do you plug the HDMI cable into the back of the TV? Which area. I pushed it in but nothing happens. Please show a picture where you plug it into. So frustrating for a 70 year old.
FIRST get a flashlight and look in the (probably) back of the tv and find a rectangle slot labeled HDMI press in slowly and firmly.
Im sorry im extremely late to the video haha but i would like to know if when you buy the device you are able to get sports channels or if they are an add on. when i went to america my cousins had the device and were able to stream american sports channel just wondering how to get them and if its the same in the uk
+JJMD gaming Not all channels that are available in the US are available in the UK so you would need to Google those channels and see if they are available in the UK.
I thoroughly dislike the remote with the track pad; the original remote is one I favor a whole lot more. What Apple also need to do is allow an external hard drive to connect to the Apple TV so you can play the iTunes purchases you saved on that hard drive. Sometimes I like having my videos available offline; it that much to ask ?
I dislike the remote too, if you have big fingers then I would not recommend this remote

I can make the Spectrum app appear on my Samsung TV but not the Apple TV app. It's not even in the collection of apps offered in the Samsung app collection. How can I locate it and mount it on my television screen? I purchased the $80 deluxe Apple remote switch, but it needs an Apple TV app to be effective. Can I download it to an iPhone (7+) and make the transfer by holding the phone next to the TV? (Hasn't worked so far. "Schmigadoon" sold me on Apple TV, but "Ted Lasso" eludes my appreciation---so Il don't feel underserved.)

The remote trackpad works to scroll down to choose the language but none of the buttons on the apple tv remote work to actually select the language once scrolled to. You did not show which button you used for entry. Did you have to use your iphone to make the entry choice for the language?
Press down on the trackpad itself to choose the item.

I find the remote control just crap , when you put it down then pick it up my always seems to change something I seem to touch parts by mistake , I much prefer the older type remote .
The 2021 remote is so much better.
