It would be helpful to have information on how to set up for sound when you have your sound going through surround sound instead of TV. Still no sound.
The hdmi port you plug it in to can matter on TVs. Some (Sony for instance) only have certain ports that are 4K compatible. Sure it will work but you’ll never get 4K if you don’t. Great video.
I just recently purchased this and would really like to know how you were able to get the volume to work on your LG tv and also the power button to turn off the TV itself and not just the Apple TV device, would be really helpful thank you!

However, they also told me the DVR cloud through Spectrum would allow me to record. Nope. Have to have this Apple TV, Roku, or another similar device. I'd like to see a video showing how to "record" a show using the Apple TV.
Because many people upgrade components over time and have a plethora of HDMI cables, so there's no need to include one and mark up the price on it. As someone who has a box filled with old, usable cables, I appreciate this decision very much!
Either you forgot a very important step or I needed one you didn't need. To get the remote to get set up I needed to hold down the MENU+Up Arrow at the same time. Found that out on another youtube video. Otherwise very helpful.

When I slide up on my phone and go to the home sign says A-TV is not available. When I tap the exclamation point, it just spins....sigh. Bluetooth and wifi all active on iphone. Any recommends?
I'm in UK, if I connect this to a non atmos tv, will the atmos signal from apps 'pass thru' the tv to my atmos enabled soundbar ? Hope somebody can help with this

Everything was fine when suddenly out of the blue it started showing a message saying there was no internet connection (which is not true, I do have internet and everything). It's worth mentioning that I have it plugged to the Ethernet cable so I decided to connect via WiFi but I just couldn't find the wifi option on the Apple TV, as if it had vanished or disappeared. I reseted it thinking I'd be able to set it up as new but no! It just doesn't recognize the internet, keeps saying there is no connection and the wifi feature is just gone! Do you happen to have an idea as to why this happened?
