I'm seriously considering this bag style. Reminds me of the Mulberry with a lower price point. Do you recommend? I know you weren't too happy with the customer service from them when you purchased a bag previously. Also did you sell your Dooney flap tab satchel?
Maybe that's why i love the shape of this bag. It must remind me of the Mulberry too! The customer service I experienced was 4 years ago. I believe someone else experience will be different than mine because the company was sold. So far they have been helpful and responsive to any questions i have. I did sell my Donney Flap Satchel a while ago. Such a gorgeous bag. I tend to sell leather to buy leather, and I believe that's why I let it go.
This bag is lined so you wont have any problems. Bags that are unlined generally don't shed. Once in a while the company making an unlined bag won't shave down the interior side of the leather and these kinds of bags will shed. In all the bags I own, only two shed. It's not a deal breaker for me. But you could always check with the company before you buy.
Hello! I've ask JW Hulme directly and they responded with "As of October 2018, J.W. Hulme Co. currently sources its manufacturing from a variety of partners both domestically and internationally, but most of the spring product like your Daly Satchel is made with full-grain U.S.A. leather. J.W. Hulme is still headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota where the brand was founded over 100 years ago in 1905. "
@@Jackiezyon I'd appreciate a straight answer from them, but I do like that they told us they use internationally manufacturing at the same time. I'm guessing China.
I love that they sent you this bag to review. JW Hulme is my favorite company to buy leather bags from, but up close reviews are few and far between. It’s hard to justify such a big purchase without getting to see it in real life. Reviews like these really make a huge difference. I hope they continue to reach out.
Thank you!!!! I've been asking for years! I was so excited to check out BIG BLUE! This bag was from their sample selection for PR so I didn't get a choice in color. Granted, I need more fun color in my life. But yes, Heritage Leather is my favorite from them. Maybe next time :) Thanks for watching!
@@PacificOcean17 Exposure is big for small/medium companies like this one. I'm honored to be a part of this opportunity. So many of us were wondering about the quality. I hope you have some more reassurance. Yes yes yes to their style and classic look. They really know what they're doing in that department. Such a polish look! If you have pictures of your Medium Legace in Evergreen, tag me on instagram (theperfectleatherbag). I'd love to see how it's wearing!
I heard this lady waits until another influencer contacts a company, and then as soon as she hears they are working out a deal she edges in and asks for a free bag, even though she used to be totally against taking bags for reviews (ie: she didn’t want to put in the work to cold call herself). She’s done this to multiple other influencers, and that’s why I stopped following this channel. Totally lazy and unethical. Come up with your own leads, girl.
I appreciate you giving me a heads up! But I might be confused, maybe you think this is what I do?! I havent practiced this way before. I cold call all the time. I get a lot of nos in response. Or I follow companies on Instagram and wait for new bags to be released and ask if I can help test them out. Or I keep in touch with PR at companies and ask frequently what new things are coming down the line. Or companies reach out to me. Most of the time I buy bags myself or I borrow them from friends. There are a group of us influencers that all get bags and share reviews. But we arent really competing. Theres room for everyone. If you have more questions for me, I'd love to answer them. Take care.
I reach out to companies I like to review their bags. I send them my stats and show I am passionate about quality bags. Most of the time they say no, but once in a while they say yes! I always want people to know the bag was sent to me for free because if I hide that, the whole review feels dishonest. These bags are pricey and I'm glad I can help viewers decide if a bag is right for them before buying. It's a fun hobby I've been doing for almost 6 years. It's been a wild ride! Are you thinking of reviewing bags someday?
BEAUTIFUL. Reminds me of the Mulberry satchels.
It looks very polished and expensive!

Do unlined leather bags shed? I havent ever bought unlined because i feel the fibers at the back of the leather will shed

Good afternoon. Where is it made now?

That's so kind of you to say! Thank you! I hope to review more in the future, too!
I am so happy they’ve finally decided to take advantage of your Reviews and send you a bag! 🎉 I would have chosen a different color for you.

ThePerfectLeatherBag Also, you mentioned wanting a similar style, but smaller& with a crossbody strap- check out the Phoebe Satchel. 🙂
but wait can you use it as a hat? :) sorry this was my favorite random part of your reviews at times.. cuz it was silly
Lol!!!!!!

Idontknow Either stop spreading rumors. You don’t know what you are talking about.
It is very blue 😂 I think I liked the Henry better, just because that one had the shoulder strap. Tfs 🌺
How does one get a company to send you one of their bags to review? Does it depend on how much you spend buying their bags?
