Gorgeous bag! I noticed that the lining is also leather and not (thank goodness) fabric. The only "but" for me is the lack of feet, but otherwise reminds me a bit of the quality of the old Coach bags when they were manufactured here in the US. Going to the website to take a look. I think I "need" the market bag...!

I love the size of this backpack! But it would be nice if they added the snap button for the strap handles together (like wrap around leather with a snap) I don’t care for the look when the leather pulled while on backpack mode. If the straps are together also for extra security it would look much better. IMO

Would love this as my diaper bag for my next baby.
But I will admit I was not a fan of leather for a diaper bag with my first because it was heavier and living in the south I thought I was going to die with a baby in a carrier on the front and a heavy leather backpack on my back...whew...
But this bag has the pockets my SBL bucket backpack did not.
Hi Danae--First off, love your review! Second, I just received the bag and am excited to use it as my work bag/diaper bag. However, I know that you like to give them a good wear, so how do you think this one holds up? Does it scratch beautifully like Saddleback/Love41? Right now it is beautiful, but I'm kind of worried about using it as comfortably as I would say the Saddleback tote. Thoughts?

Thank you, Danae. My perpetual question about leather bags, especially big leather bags, is the weight. If a bag is too heavy for me, it will sit in my closet no matter how beautiful. The website said that this bag weights 3.9 pounds when empty. Do you find it uncomfortably heavy to carry for any length of time when it is full?
A used bag is always best, I agree! The backpack mode is comfortable to wear when the bag is full. I need more weeks of use it to really determine my opinion, but so far so good. It does depend on how you use this bag. Laptops And electronics are heavy in any bag. Travel bags tend to be heavy too... so maybe this bag is more for big activies than a small everyday bag. Then again, if you pack it with lighter objects like whats in a normal purse it is still comfortable in crossbody or shoulder. Overall, its a light bag considering its size and materials. It could have been worse... my sbl backpack is 5 pounds empty, but I still love it! Thanks for letting me ramble!!

I think you should ask them to do it for the future. But they said as of right now, it will only be in chestnut brown. I think it would be helpful to them to see your interest for another color
