    To address a bunch of the comments, when we say "eBay Spacers" we don't mean to classify ALL spacers on eBay in the same category. There are good brands out there, but this is just common terminology for cheaply made spacers that are often found on eBay or Amazon and made overseas. Bora spacers are made in the USA! www.customwheeloffset.com/store/?cat=Spacers

    • @benjaminberan7645
      @benjaminberan7645 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@24revealer you are assuming the truck is sitting on an absolutely level surface. Best way to measure with tires installed is to
      1)chock front wheels and jack up the rear so both rear tires are just about off the ground, but not completely so they won't turn
      2) use a long straight edge up against the entire tire (dead down the center of the tire) and measure to the fender
      3) set the rear down and repeat for the front.
      But doing this also assumes that your front fender and rear fenders are equal distances from the center line of your truck. Best method is to measure hub to hub, subtract the two and divide by 2...this will give you exact measurement for spacers if you are trying to space your rear wheels to equal the front. But this will increase your turning radius

After you torque it and put the tire back on, the lug nuts get seated and the studs stretch a little bit so its always a good idea to check them with miles or like you said after a week or so

    I have a all wheel drive 2005 yukon denali xlt 1500.After adjustment on the torsion bar keys I've got an awful lot of camber. I've heard 2"spacer will help with this, true or not true is my question. I should also mention I've already changed the rear auto air ride system with a kit that came with new coil springs, shocks (2" adapters added to shocks)and 3" spacers under the springs. Also came with new torsion keys supposed to add 3 inches. I haven't added the new key's all ready can see bottom lower control arms are pretty much maxed out. Any way are the spacer's worth my time while waiting to get the rest of the front end parts upgraded. My stock arms do appear to have an adjustment on them. I believe for camber but not sure. I watch your videos all the time , would love feed back on my set up. Oh I plan to get rid of the magnetic Ride system up front.36" in the front 40" in the rear from floor to outside top edge of fender. It's in no way different from wheels with low offset. But yes, that is still true even if it doesn't matter in most situations.

    • @codyrockwood15
      @codyrockwood15 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So does wider wheels.
      So either way, you're still gonna have added stress on the same parts.

    • @joemarchione97
      @joemarchione97 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@codyrockwood15 wider wheels do not adjust the geometry because the hub face is in the same location and no further leverage is added. Extra stress points are added on the opposite side of the spacers and are not present on wider wheels.

    Hello brother, just need a little help with something..
    Basically bought 12mm spacers for my BMW along side with pro lowering spring quite a while ago i have come across deep rubbing from my back arches
    My right tyre has blown and left one was about too, too. My tyres have tread but the inside of the wheels are scraping, why so?
    Can you perhaps explain what the situation could be.
    Will really appreciate your response,
    Thank you
