Good video Richard. I wished you or I lived closer. I had my late 80's 700R4 K-Case rebuilt by a local transmission repair shop in California. I am pleased that i got my Camaro running. But i would of felt way better had you rebuilt my transmission. I had the shop put in a new drum, The Beast Sunshell, and a new Wide Band. Im kind of leary about the delayed/soft 2nd to 3rd gear shift though.
Do you do rebuild videos to see how they go back together? I love the disassembly and troubleshooting videos but would like to see how it goes back together
You're absolutely amazing, I was lost after 1 minute of you tearing into it again to follow up. How long have you been doing transmissions? I assume you have to take follow up classes on new stuff ?
Have you had any rebuilds with 8L90's yet? Or do you stick mainly to 6L80/4L60 rebuilds? Seems like the 8spd's are way more susceptible to TC's going out and taking trans with it but never see those on your table

Tearing down a transmission can be done by anyone. BUILDING A TRANSMISSION TAKES TALENT AND KNOWLEDGE

Most transmissions shops are leaving that to be a dealer problem
