Thank you Mr. Richard and Miss Tjeresa for another wonderful video. I am grateful to hear that the shoulder is feeling better, and I am praying that your cold is very short lived and you feel better quickly. As always love seeing the beautiful Miss Annie making an appearance. I pray that you have a most blessed and wonderful remainder of your weekend. Much love and prayers from my family to yours.🙏💜
Here in Sarasota, Florida, it's still 80 degrees at 530am with 80+% humidity...! Plus, Milton's track goes over my blue dot on Google...!!! Uh oh...!!! This one looks bad...!!! Thanks for sharing...! Keep up your awesomeness...
On my 4L60 I was going to go with the original cooler til I saw the one on a 08? Ford E350 van at the Junkyard! My trans stays nice and cool with that unit
Greetings from sunny but crisp Eastern Washington. Rocking the Annie shirt today and Viola, a new vid. Do have to say I wear the shirt a lot because it's a good quality Haynes brand. I've got a lot of Steve Morris shirts and they're thin compared to yours. And every time I wear Annie, I get so many "is that your cute dog?" questions! Nope, it's the guy's who rebuilt my tranny, then I also have to explain the Annie bark at ya, on the back. Stay warm.😎👍
Cool Vid. I was told Reverse Pressure needs to be High for like backing up heavy loads to keep the clutch from slipping. Higher pressure in lower gears and lower pressures in higher gears for the same thing. The water thing was neat to know about.
Great video! Question: Have you guys worked on any of the new 10r80 10spd GM/Ford transmissions yet? If so what do you think of them. A video breaking down one of those would be awesome!!
Yup the trailblazer is only 4400-4600 so nearly half a ton increase to the escalade. I'd imagine the transmission may run hotter also due to softer shifts vs an ss being more sporty than luxury.
I'm curious as to how water may have entered. Depending on how the transmission is vented, if the transmission was hot and the vehicle was driven through very wet terrain would a large splash of water cool the transmission enough to contract the air in the case and make it draw in water through a vent?
I'm wondering if it hadn't been used to launch a boat and went a little too far. That or over running through a storm with a flooded road which didn't look as deep as it was.
Hi Richard and Teresa. Could you verify that you guys are back in control of the Precision Transmission channel and that you are posting on both channels?
I have seen guys rebuilding transmission but not to this extent please pass your knowledge on to someone who will use it us older guys are almost done and retired hopefully the young generation will get it.
He keeps pulling parts out of that transmission. This is why I'll work on everything EXCEPT transmissions. I do know how to replace seals though, something that the last transmission guy I went to didn't seem to know how to do. If they can't even replace the seals on a TH400, that's the first sign they don't know what they're doing. I had to go behind some idiot down here in Houston and fix two transmissions I brought to him to "fix" .
I just want to say, first of all I don’t have a so called “race” car but I do have a fast car. One day I’ll have that race car. Anyways I love to watch you, you tear these down like nothin!! And you explain along the way what’s goin on, what broke and why it broke. You make suggestion and if it were going to be a race car you’d use something beefier or heavy duty there in that pieces position. You explain and described what your doin so that anyone can understand, within reason. Not everyone’s a car person. I’ve learned a lot, stuff I’ll probably never use in my life but it was enjoyable watchin you tear em down. There’s an encyclopedias wealth of knowledge about transmissions in your brain. 2 questions, do you do BWW trannies and next, when are you gonna put one back together for us????🤣🤣🤣 you guys are a great channel. Thanks Teresa and Richard!!!!
Do a video of you going back together with it. Still enjoy watching you take them apart.
Good to see these videos again, I thought you'd stopped making them. I didn't know you "changed channels"!

Richard you and Teresa are genuine good people that do a great job and anyone lucky enough to have you do their rebuild will know that

Thank you for Taking the Time To show a Old Fart like my self these transmissions and How the Operate. Take care.

Been watching for years . Have seen all the mistake I did make through the years long ago. 0:00
Enjoy 😊
Makes you wonder if more regular oil changes on the transmission & both differentials would save money / extend life & prevent failure.
I can’t believe someone would leave a yellow rubber ducky in the transmission pan.
You’re the best! I hope to one day meet you!

That vehicle weighs 5572 pounds approximately they are heavier than the suv if you’re talking about the little short boxy ones

Hey brother Richard, consider a induction heater ,I bought a nice one off Amazon after using my coworkers one ,they are great
Gotta be one of the best in the business. Too bad his shop is so far away. Can I just ship it? It’ll be worth it.
Eventually I'm gonna have to fix mine. 05 4l-60e. No 1st, no 4th or OD. Just 2 and 3. But only if I manually select 2. Otherwise it's just 3.
I love your videosbut is seems that you are not as prepared these days as in your old shop
Unbelievable that part is from the 700.
Lets us know when them parts will be ready to purchase👊

Find out who makes that pan and get them to revise that drain bolt.
Richard how do I go about getting a transmission to you to rebuild it
What wide band do you guys use?
What model trans, and how many speeds(5)?

You should switch from pb blaster to kroil much better
Why does it seem that 80% of your business is with GM vehicles?
