I love these, my favorite upright. I’ve never had any trouble with any of the ones I’ve owned or even my sanitaire knock offs. Do you sell a lot of these at your store?
I have a Windsor S15 that is basically the same vac. Mine is 20 years old but still works like a champ. I only use hepa bags in mine.
This machine really is a great option for a carpet vacuum that needs to "just work".
Love mine. I bought it to replace my Kirby Classic Omega which i still have but no longer use due to weight and its cloth bag. It’s just more practical and modern.
I love this upright. I have no need for it since I don’t have a tone of carpet but I love this old school, basic, study design.
4:55 What a great design! 👍
9:22 start up is amazing
I love soft start motors.
Such a smooth sound
Got a G1 recently for $30, and it’s fantastic.
I honestly like these better than the automatic X4 (now X7) (though if I were to get one of those, I'd get one of the Boost models). I just like how you can manually control the carpet height settings on these to make it dig into the carpet deeper.
Same here
1:20 Mr. PR.....you just started unpacking the box and I am already impressed.👍
Great machine!
The motor sounds like it's the same one that is used in the Automatic X series. It sounds like this one is designed the same as the Automatic X but has manual height adjustment instead. I do think Sebo is the best brand of vacuum currently available. I have a Sebo Felix and a D1 straight suction canister, they are both excellent. There's also a 370 upright but I'm not sure of the differences between that and the G series.
I wish they'd offer two different colors for the G4/G5 just like with the X series. I really do like the teal colors they used to have, that'd be great if they offered that again. Or at least the blue they used to make for Windsor. I miss those blue/white Windsors.
I loved my old XP12 for its blue and white color scheme.
My Lindhaus is pretty darn tough
Yes they are too!
@@PerformanceReviewsHey there. Im aware that youve tried both the lindhaus hf6 as well as the sebo d4, Which of the two has more power?
Whats your opinion on the Hoover Hushtone compared to this Sebo?
I've used both, the Hoover Hushtone is a good commercial carpet vacuum for the price $330-350. It cleans carpets well and it's pretty durable. Downsides are it feels a little heavier to push, it uses paper bags but there is a hepa exhaust filter, and the build quality is cheaper than the Sebo but better than most home vacs. There's not many reasons to buy a Sanitaire Tradition when affordable commercial vacuums like the Hoover Hushtone exist.
The Sebo G4 is twice the price. The plastics are better, the tools are better, the bags are better. Downsides are you can't turn off the brushroll (same on the Hustone) and it has no bare floor squeegee. I'd get the Hoover Hushtone for new employees and the Sebo G4 for experienced cleaners and myself.
@@kc5077 I actually ended up getting a Hoover Insight 100, with only about half of the original bag used (so basically brands new, extremely clean), for about $50. They do offer allergen bags which filter better than the normal paper bags, and it has a hepa filter.
Do they have the same motor as X series?
Yes
5:52 At this point the vacuum is idiot proof....um....at least until someone makes a better idiot.
Fair enough. Those are the types of people that manage to break nearly indestructible shop vacs.
@@graysonsvacsandmowers5426 Oh, for sure. These people need supervision and a mandatory coarse on tool respect.
@@ckelly5141Or an IQ test at the bare minimum.
I use mine at home
