Hi, Jon quick question in this video you stated 23-300 per liter for lipase being normal. Wouldn’t anything pass 160 be considered acute pancreatitis? Just curious to know a buddy of mine had a reading for 264 lipase in the ER room it has an H next to it I am assuming high? He was not admitted but wouldn’t this be something to be alarmed about?

My levels was 299 and was diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis
They say the normal range is 0-160. Then you times it by 3 that is pancreatitis so they say. Every lab is different.

Mine is 18 my dr said it was within normal range 13-60 I think was considered normal
