I'm confused about the reference range variance between places. Some set the upper limit to 60 U/L. Others have it set to 300 U/L.

Hi, Jon quick question in this video you stated 23-300 per liter for lipase being normal. Wouldn’t anything pass 160 be considered acute pancreatitis? Just curious to know a buddy of mine had a reading for 264 lipase in the ER room it has an H next to it I am assuming high? He was not admitted but wouldn’t this be something to be alarmed about?

They say the normal range is 0-160. Then you times it by 3 that is pancreatitis so they say. Every lab is different.

Hey .. how has your stomach been since? I've been at the ER with 7000 5000 and 1200 a couple times. Are you back to normal and what tests did they run?

Stay away from aspartame in soda's or other foods. Some studies have shown it may be highly toxic to pancreatic cells

He consume lots of diet soda's or aspartame? Some studies have shown it may be toxic to pancreatic cells yet the FDA still allows it to be in our food & drink supply
