  • Like many other tourists, we knew we wanted to visit Batu Caves near Kuala Lumpur. But recent reviews in travel groups about the area around this massive Hindu temple had us hesitant - with a lot of other tourists saying Batu Caves wasn't worth the trouble to visit. Was this true? We knew we had to find out! Afterwards, we headed to Brickfields district (also known as Little India) and had the most amazing lunch!

Nice! I always stay in the KL Sentral area, primarily because of all the great food options, Indian and otherwise. Thanks for the tour!

The KL Sentral area would be such a good area to stay in! How many times have you been there?

You both were destined to visit a murugan temple. Even for a lot of people who live close to this temple, the thought wont come to visit a murugan temple unless you are destined by Murugan to visit him. Good wishes and lot of luck in your journey

It looks much better now than when I visited over a decade ago, it was quite shabby then and paint was flaking and faded.
Perhaps the instagram/TH-cam driven tourism has helped in that regard.

Some of the garbage was the result of tourists feeding the monkeys. But the entrance outside i agree, town council should clean it.

The chakra is required for your spiritual energy. Without activation there is no use in worshiping in temple or church or any other place of worship.

It's not worth visiting. It is filthy, dirty , smelly and nothing to see to be honest. You have just been to Taiwan and it is nowhere near to the quality that you receive there.
