Hello Jay Mike sir, I have a good passes, well good dribbling, but doesn't have good speed but have good long range shooting but doesn't have finishing. Which position do you recommend for me?
Dude .. on what you have said my best position is to be a defensive midfielder.. and yes i have been at that position or as a centre back for the past 3 years( exept last year where i played as a CF and became the 2nd highest scorer in my school tournament) but i really have a lack of power or weight in my passes.. i am good in short passing(the best in my whole school) but when i do long passes it just isnt there.. so what should i do.. will it affect my game?? Or is it not that great of an issue?? Pls help
I was a winger once, because im fast. But now im the creative Part of the Team playing as a cm/cdm. The speed still helps a lot doing the defensive runs when someone loses the Ball
I was winger because i was fast, so i was trying to teach my son to be one (take ons, overlaps, underlaps, timing your run etc.) But he just naturally drifted to being a CDM, he has vision to control a game, able to spot a good pass and the accuracy to pull it off, good tackler and cut out danger before it happened, could also take on and beat players, he was so good in that position he'd regularly get called up to the year older teams. Then he got a new coach, who's son liked that position and wanted to play there, so he talked my son into being a Centre Back. it was a struggle for him at 1st to learn a new position but he's a good CB now, and still gets a good few assists, he doesn't hoof the ball up field, he has a cool head, looks for the foward pass, if its not on, he makes a simple pass. He seems happy as a CB now so its not too bad, but when they are winning games and the manager brings on another CB and pushes him up into Midfield again, he excels. He's a good CB but a natural CDM. i've never said anything to anyone (probably why im venting here), as i'm happy he is happy, but i hope to myself in the future he returns to midfield
Began as a rightback in a 433, but was mainly moving up and down the pitch so next year I was a right midfielder. Always trained hard and worked on both legs. Even during goal scoring exercises I did good so one day I curled a ball over the keeper in a training and suddenly people wanted me as a striker. Did my best but didn't like the waiting, so I dropped into midfield often. Then one day I became a box to box player and loved that! Defend when I can, attack when I can, sometimes shoot from distance and pass the ball to better teammates who can do better things with it. I just enjoyed it. Moments like getting the ball from my opponent, passing it to the striker who scored a goal will always be great memories. .
@@kartikdhigan4619 someone in the midfield who can play on both sides. When the team needs to defend, I'll be there. I remember one game running back to defend and I suddenly was the last man between the goalie and the striker. Kept looking at the ball and got it and passed it to a teammate. Then moments later, we were attacking and I would be standing on the other side helping the attackers. Sometimes I had assists, sometimes some goals. Famous box to box players are like Patrick Vieira, Yaya Toure, Kevin Strootman, Radja Nainggolan were box to box players.
I used to be wing back/side back, then I changed to full back, now I'm the bench warmer and part time water boy, the most stable and dominate position in a team 🥲
I consider myself a right winger but because I can't hold my speed that well past 5 yards I've ended up playing RB (Oddly enough I was pretty good here), CAM and ST. It's fun to try new positions and I've built a more all around game because of it.
@@SkilzGamerz maybe more then 5 yards lmao but once I hit my top speed usually at like 2-3 yards to like 6-7 yards then I start slowing down, that being said my top speed is really fast I just wish I could hold it for longer.
@@france8607 You'd be surprised and I'm not running 33kmph though I'm fast for a normal football player not track runner speed. Meaning my dip in pace isn't as drastic as 8kmph but maybe 5-4 which is still a lot and then it lowers more and more.
I was playing cm in my old club for 7 years then i transfered to a new club and the coach was like. You in midfield? nah man you gonna be our striker. He said that my ability to create space for myself and take on guys 1on1 will be more suitable in that position. He made me do a lot of finnishing drills aswell. Later on in games i found out that my movement infront of a goal is very good cuz of my vision and i cant even describe it but i kinda just know where will the ball arrive? Well😄 27 goals last season and currently 22goals
True I can play every position and role. Even goalkeeper. It’s pretty much same for all my friends who play football as when we were kids we used to rotate. It helped a lot.
I'm literally the best defender but I'm also good at dribbling so I go all positions and run back when the opponent have the ball I also tell others where to go😅
I was a RB for years, but one day my coach, out of the blue, before a friendly game told us that I was gonna play number 9. Fair to say no one was convinced to see a 1m63 striker. It was a year ago, now I wear the number 9 on my back every sunday and I'm having a blast every single game. Like all things in life guys, just try out stuff and see where it leads you
It comes down to many factors too : - How good you are at adapting? Some players like in many positions or change them thru time like CR7 from Winger to Striker or Bale from left back to winger. Another big examples are like Messi from Right winger and “False 9” to Center Forward or CAM - Some players can play at multiple positions such as Mbappe on all fronts , Sergi Roberto back in 2016 played in 7 different positions (CM , RW , RB , CDM , LB , RM , LM) , Kimmich as RB or CM , and I could go on - Currently is all about how can you contribute for the team , examples of this is like Pep Guardiola having KDB , Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden playing CM , RW , LW , ST , CAM while doing defensive duties
Exactly, I always played as a winger, but I was always on the beach, but one match my coach played me as a center midfielder, when I got substituted I got a massive cheer from my teammates on the beach and from the fans, after that game I was a regular starter and still play there now, even wore the captain armband from that position, now I've evolve to attacking midfield and it's just great, adaptation is key 👌 thanks for making such incredible video that has a lot of information in it 💥💥
In school football, I was told by my teammates to be a CM or winger which I didnt want to be, so I wasnt playing good, I didnt have good pace, passing, so I was told to be a GK. In that, I was a PRO. I saved 5 goals in the 2 matches I played GK, and now, in 5th grade I saved 14 goals and 4 penalties.
I play goal keeper because, long story short, I managed to build my ability within school and made my way to a club. I managed to prove myself because I’m a natural in goal, I have the captaincy, vision and positioning to stop lot’s of shots.
For my first year in Football I started playing as a Center back but it later on became somehow boring for me so I decided to try out midfield So I start out midfield as an attacking midfielder but my attacking flaws wasn’t that good So I used my defensive experience and played as a central defensive midfield and I began to fit into that position quite easily I just worked more on my passing abilities and I become comfortable in that position till now
@@RealBluePotato Are you good in buildup as RB? Fullback and CDM can be pretty similar. If you’ve mastered balancing attack and defence as fullback, you’d probably take less time to adapt to CDM.
I play CAM and a quick tip is when your teammate passes to you use your first touch to touch into space and not trap the ball dead. And try not to take more than 2 touches. But it’s fine if you need to take more. Also work on one two passes with your teammate
In my most recent football years, I have played as both a striker and a cm. However, I am quite small and don’t have as much strength as I often need playing up front, and sometimes I struggle to find space as a midfielder. I have tried to find a bit of an in between spot, and playing as more of a cam and cf this has allowed me to be more comfortable on the pitch.
I would suggest you to play as a CDM . Being a winger / striker myself ; it was pretty hard to play as an CM but recently I have enjoyed playing as a CDM . This positions allows you to get the ball more from the back & if you have good range of passing ; this position would be well suited for you because you would be able to pick out passes from deep and occasionly join the attack because playing from deep allows you to have full view of the pitch and you can easily pick out spots to get into & maybe pop some bangers in from long range . Hope this helps ; STAY SAFE & ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL GAME ❤️
Started off as a cm, but I missed passes, had bad positioning and had worse shooting. I noticed that since I used to play basketball I became good at grabbing the ball with the hand and I practiced and in a month I fully switched from cm to gk. Best decision. Switching to gk also helped me improve my passing and communication too.
I was once a RM. I aspired to be like David Beckham when he played for United. An unfortunate meniscus injury sidelined me, I gained some weight, lost a lot of speed, and I was so scared to be the dribbler I was once before my injury. When I was 20, my coach noticed all of that and we were shirt a CB. I accepted the challenge and have been playing in that position for over a decade now.
I always wanted to be a winger but my coach said that i'll be better as a striker 😭😭😭 so sad, but after playing as a striker i analysed and understanded that i'm perfect for it. So, always listen to your coach, you won't regret.🥇🥇
I always played as a striker and was the captain of my team, I was very good at dribbling, taking on 2-3 defenders at a time and always being the person who scored the most goals. But my coach put my as a attacking mid fielder and I was clueless about what to do. One time I got so furious that when the ball came to me, I took on 4 players and took a shot from outside the box, wasn’t a goal, the keeper saved the goal. That was the only attempt of goal my team had in the entire match and we lost 4-0. Now imagine if I was a striker or even a winger, I could have scored at least 2 goals. Now my coach always puts me as a winger in friendly matches but, he didn’t when it was actually needed.
@@yupitzmeeee icl that’s not how it works. Just because you almost scored at cam it doesn’t mean you would’ve at st. Also cam get the ball more often and has more opportunities to dribble than a st. Cam is arguably the position where ball control is needed the most
My first coach taught me the basics of every position and so I learnt how to be good at most of them, played LB for a few years and really didn’t like it but I picked up a lot of defensive tactics from it. Now I play 6/8 and sometimes wing. I love to press hard and win the ball back quick, all I’m missing now is the ability to do it for a full 90’
I played as a right back/ RWB and winger back in the day. It was apparent I did the most running, your lungs are expected to make from iron 😂 I always had a good touch, passing ability but I was blessed/cursed with speed so never got into the centre at any team I joined. I feel cdm would be my most comfortable position now as I'm in my 30s 😅
This video helped me tons. Last year I played striker and my team scored over 100 goals (we probably should've been in the division higher but can't have two from the same club in division 1). I scored 7 goals in the season and got over 40 assists. My results and this video made me realise I was better at cam or cm. I've played 3 games this season and scored 6 goals, 2 assists, stopped 3 chances as last man when I drop to defend and have played lots of through balls that my teammates couldn't quite stick in the back of the net. My coach is now extremely reluctant to playing me anywhere else, since I make such a big impact to the game now. Thanks.
I ALWAYS played striker when I was just starting out.. but I never got the ball much and I found it rather boring (also didn’t help that I NEVER scored) but in the last year and a half ive been put on my left wing and I love it. I love any position in middle of the field, you get the ball so much and there’s always something your involved in! 💪
I started out as an out and out striker when i was young, then i went into the academy system where i was put onto the right wing to simply fit me into the team rather than leave me out. I played my last game for them yesterday and in my time i have played across the entire attacking line (RW, LW, ST, CAM, F9 etc.) Basically what im saying is you wont be stuck to one position, you will develop and become more diverse in the positions you play
My football journey is very weird… I first started as a defender(RB) which went really bad and then I stopped playing football… Then the next year I tried being goalie which went very good and got the award of best goalkeeper in the school, in-fact I played it for three years… So then I decided to be CF for the first time, but didn’t go as expected so I went back and became a CB which really helped because I developed very good defending skills, but my coach saw that I was a long-passer so he mad me CAM and I became very good at dribbling.then after a few years I became captain, and then I decided to become ST which made me very good but because my right leg was very good I became an RW then it went so good and I had very good defending skills which made me do so good EX: taking the ball of the defender and just going for a shot… Traits: Dribbling Pace Long shooter Good at free kicks Good at corner kicks Good at penaltys Good defending And that’s it, I really liked my football journey.
Thanks to your tutorials, tips and I have found my my position and now I am playing semi professional in the United States this channel has affected my game a lot and I am super glad and thankful that there is a channel that actually makes sense. I hope to see more. Thank you very much 🙏🤝🏼
When I was young, I often played with older boys so in most cases I was a GK or CB. Playing with older boys helped me develop a lot. From behind you see more and playing against more mature, bigger opponents enhanced my physicality. In primary school I started as one of the weakiest players in my class, but when I became 12 or 13 I was already a good passer and a decent finisher. It was mostly thanks to playing with older boys from my neighbourhood. In high school I played mostly as a winger or a striker, although I wasn't the fastest on the pitch. My positional awareness, great passes, one-touch passes and shots with both legs and head were good enough for those positions. During my 20s I transitioned to more central role - DM/CM/AM and when the opponents were much better than my team, I played a defender disabling any player in my sector. In my 30s I played a lot as a RB/CB/LB and sometimes as a backup GK. A lot of players I played with love scoring, dribbling etc. For me passing and defending are the things I love in football. I want to be the guy with the assist or with the pass to the assist giver. I want to be the guy who reads well opponents' attack and destroys it rather sooner than later. That's why I love playing as a CB/DM.
I currently play as a a CM/CAM. I love it! I can make plays, can see and play the pitch like I'm in FIFA, create great assists/runs, Im very fast and physical, and I can also somewhat finish. This video definetly reminded me about may things that make me good at my position and many things that would make me not so good in other positions. Anyway, Great video!
When I got into football, I first started out as a CDM from 5 to 8(ish) years old. I wasn't very good playing there, neither did I enjoy it. And my coach noticed that, and insisted I play as a CAM, 9 to 13 years old, I was quite good playing as a CAM, and I did enjoy my time doing so. I moved to a different part of the country at around 13 so I joined a new team and was played as a RM for a few weeks, then my new coach moved me to a winger, saying that my dribbling and passing abilities would be much more useful in that position, and he was right, and I've been playing as a RW/LW ever since. Currently on 9 goals and 6 assists
Keep it up champ i am a basketball player but recently i have not been having so much fun i just am better at basketball but i watch and play football games and when i was a kid i loved playing football so i wanna return to it but ik i wont be as good as i am at basketball idk what to do
@@Klestyz it can work easily cuz u already know how to run atleast fast bursts and have good stamina. And some things like jumping can make u a deadly baller
I love being striker and in the action at the front, but after watching this I realise that my strengths definitely lie in my main position as full back. And don’t get me wrong, I love full back! A couple of weeks ago, I even dribbled all the way from about half way and crossed it into the goal and scored.
I was so confused between playing as a centre back or a midfeilder and then I realised that I have the ability to create chances and at the same time have a good dribbling and defensive stats and then the only option left was to play as a central defensive midfeilder and your video helped me to figure it out and giving me the confidence of playing as a central defemsive midfeilder.
I can play at wing, attacking midfielder, and striker,as you should have to know and play at least 2 positions out of 11 it helps a lot 😀 and i don't play for club but I play with and against my friends
In association football I played in the following positions: striker, wide midfielder and fullback. I think I enjoyed playing as a wide-midifielder because you always have an oppurtinity to cover a lot of distance by running with the ball during the course of a match and you can do both attacking and defending without being required to be a master at it and you get more touches on the bal during possession.
I used to play as a centre back and fullback but my coach thought I would be amazing in the midfield cuz I wanted to be in every single play, I had amazing stamina, I had great vision and passing, and had great finishing and I ended up loving it and I want to be a professional CM, CAM, or CDM and I wont give up
For me I learned just by playing. I trained to be a forward at first because they get all the headlines, but I could never quite master the position at the higher levels, especially on the ball. But I’ve learned I’m much more valuable as a defender because I have good instincts, anticipation, range and toughness from playing American football. And while ball skills are still important, they’re not as critical as a defender or even a CDM, where it’s more about making good decisions than taking on defenders with a bunch of skill moves. So I play more center back and defensive mid. Kante and Makélélé are who I try to emulate, and some of Van Dijk as well.
I enjoy playing as a striker but I better as a cm/CDM and thanks to the tutorials from unisport I have learnt alot and have improved my game and created better readings of the game thanks for the help 😊
Because of my speed, stamina, pressing, tackling and ball interception, I get to play in multiple positions. I used to play as a forward, then a winger, then a center-back, then a full-back, then a defensive midfielder. I agree that it depends on the team, the formation, the system, and the style of the team. If where I play helps the team and gets me minutes on the pitch, it is way better than being on the bench. At least I know my name is always gonna be on the team sheet.

i played multiple positions playing on different soccer teams when i was younger i use to play winger or striker but as i got older it became apparent that i wasn't fast like im not slow but im also not quick so i started playing more cam because ive always been a great passer and can also attack i have since become more of a cm/cdm as i can control the game and bring the call up from defense i have also played cb and rb on some local occasions when it's needed although i don't really like it as I've always enjoyed being part of the attack and as much as i enjoy scoring goals i much more enjoy getting an assists it's so much more rewarding making a perfect pass to where your teammate just has to finish it off
Love this topic. I was a strong player with tackles great at reading plays and position but I was great at making through balls so I was used as center midfielder, both defensive and attacking. Occasionally central defense and back up goalie.
I thought I'd be good at midfield but my coach said i would be great at defense, so I started playing rb/lb for a long time. I also had great speed so I tried being fullback, but I didn't have the stamina to go up and down the pitch continuosly. I had good passing and defending so naturally I've become a CDM, and I'd like to say I'm loving it. If a goalkeeper is needed, I fill it up as I thouroughly enjoy being a keeper, and i have good reflexes. Be adaptable.
I love going forward with the ball and scoring but when I met better people it felt like shooting was impossible but I also like controlling the game and help shape the team and I had a good pass on me so I became a CM/CAM and im flourishing
I remember when I was playing for this club but they always put me in striker, left wing or midfield, but I always kept tackling the opposing team so I decided defense and play left back but the thing was…I wasn’t much of a runner so I became a goalkeeper and I was very happy of my choice 😊
Ive always wanted to be a RW from the age of 7. I started joining football clubs from about 9 and just couldnt fit in, so i ended up quiting. After getting back playing football in school from 14, i learned i was more a RB, i love to push up the pitch, but i loved to make tackles like a old skool CB. I play football every saturday with people in their 30s with my dad, and im one of the best players each week. Im only 16 and i think i can still improve, especially since my passing is getting better and ive been involved in an inverted wingback roll, pushing into CDM.
thanks to my speed, stamina, and strenght i was an RB/LB cuz i can't do that much dribbling but i can hold the ball,I have an acceptable vision,But i am an aggressive player so i have to be RB/LB,i was Right,or Left winger before, even if i am more right leg,but my left was acceptable i think :D
I always play attacking, anything attacking but when I tried playing full back RB I played well too. Don’t set limits to where you should be playing, try new positions
I have played midfield for many years and I actually have gotten very good at it. I later switched to goalkeeper last year and I have improved as far as making my high school team as a keeper. I've been enjoying it, but there is always some regret in me that I should have stayed outfield since it can be very frustrating and "boring" playing this position. Do any of you guys have advice for next year? I'm injured and still currently deciding. Thanks
Started in Goal because everyone hated me because in school I got good marks and they thought I was a nerd. Then I showed I was capable and was upgraded to CB, I didnt do well and then went to LB Did really well but they got a player that was worse than me but i was fine with playing RB and now have gotten semi-regular goals and assists.
I have pretty solid stamina and i am fast so I played RB mostly in my career, even tho i wanted RW or ST but trainer decided to use me on RB as we had enough attackers. I could play 90 minutes with full sprints and used it as RWB which was rly fun running forward and beating opponenents LB/LM 😅 and yet, i enjoyed tackling!!
I used to play CF before but i couldn't much of a scoring but i offen dribble and win ball in situations and after seeing this i find my self perfect at Defensive mid and Centre mid and also attacking mid im more of a producer and compact at these positions
During my competitive days, I used to play across all attacking positions before settling in at AMC or 'in the hole' as they say. Got out of the competitive scene just before the traditional 10 died out. Do try out the different positions as they make you read the game better.
I really think I'd be a great upfield player... My passing, dribbling and shooting are pretty good and my own teammates have said they think I should play a more attacking position based on how they've seen me play during practice. but my coach always throws me at CB just because I'm big and can make a tackle. It's super frustrating being stuck at the back all the time when I know I can help more upfront :(
What position do you think I should play?. I am a fast player with excellent 1 on 1 skills and good crossing , vision and shooting. But then I have good defending although I am not very physically powerful. I’m currently playing for a league 2 team in England at youth level.
I dreamt of playing like KDB but I was pushed to defence to play CB and I turned out very good.I still create some chances with my long passing abilities
I used to think of playing as AM or Cm usually but I went to gym and I had broad shoulders which gave me more physical strength, so I started playing as a DM in the college level and as a RB even tho I'm comparatively slow but I have good stamina continuously keeping up and catching up to the winger and not giving him space to run and making those Wingers annoyed really gave me the Joy while playing and giving out those long passes and crosses creating attacking situations for my team from the RB 😍😍😍 aahhhhhhh.... It was the best
I am a 12 year old, who plays as a winger/striker/ mid-fielder. But I'm usually good and being a Winger and sometimes even a Mid-fielder. By the way, I don't play at a club but I play in my School Soccer Matches
I'm just starting football again after a year and I was a Rb or a Centre Half and I'm starting again in RB so yeah happy days just love watching these videos to remind me of stuff too!
I play CM and LM. I'm slow with bad finishing, with solid defending and dribling, pinpoint crosses and beautifull creativity. I identify myself as Kroos or Xavi
I used to be a GK/Defender but I trained other things and worked my way up to a forward position. Since I have experience everywhere, I play as an Attacking Midfielder as a primary position, and LW, CF, and ST. I used to play RW but I found that I usually play around better on the left or centrally. Cause of what I’m training, as well as good at, I’m best ar CAM or as a CF role because of experience as well. Trust me when I say that what you’re good at is very important.
For me I've always wanted to be a goalkeeper but I've grown tired of my defense not helping so I've become a center back and my speed and defensive capabilities have really helped me so far and I've loved getting so much play time. I say that last part because my coach had chosen two keepers and that got me really aggravated because he made me sit on the bench half the game. For anyone who is mad about someone worse than them playing in your position just know you can always change and be a better player in another position.
For me it was the other way around lol. My defence was so good the opposing team rarely got shots off so I was incredibly bored. Eventually changed to play as AM or winger and loved it!
I’ve always thought I was a centre back and people say I’m a great central defender, but my friends also say I’m really good at playing striker. I’m kind of overweight but also really muscular for my age and really tall and big. Idk whether to switch positions or to stay as a defender. My strong points are: Physicality: strength and aerial battles Vision: Shot power Defending Commanding Positioning (good at both types but mostly defensive) and volleys Which position should I be (or should I stay as centreback) (Also I’m not really fast)
Thank you so much. Im only 11 years old and my dream is to go pro so i train daily. And really i had NO FRICKING idea what position i wanted to play. I was pretty good at shooting and at... goalkeeping and had not idea which one. Thanks to this i now know what to choose. Thanks Unisport!
Starter as a striker and was really good at it. But I tried playing CM and realized I was just as good at controlling pace, passing through balls and yes my favorite a sniper from long range/volleys. ❤
At first I wanted to be a winger but afterwards, I was a bit uncertain because of what I did on the field but now after watching this video I understand now that I COMPLETELY fit a central midfielder
I used to play positions all over the field bcuz I didn't know which one I was good at but ABT 2 months ago after analysing my play style and strengths I realised I should be a CDM I was good and defense good at making spaces decently fast and good at passing and dribbling. After that I started playing 10 times better.
This video is really helpful, cuz I didn't actually know where I wanted to play but since he mentioned somethings I do, I say I'm a cdm/cm just gotta work on my passes and confidence 😢. Much love unispots❤
I started as a keeper bc I was tall and good at jumping but now I’m a CM/CDM/RB/RWB/RM/CAM (in no specific order other than CM first and CAM last) but now I realized I’m rlly good at passing and attacking but I’m better at defending and I usually play from out from the wing and create chances and I’m strong and fast if you play like me try my positions see if the work for you. Also always try to play at least 3-8 positions so that no matter what club you’re at you can play. Hope this helps😊
Once i was a goalie, then i decided it wasnt for me, i then became a defender, i wasnt a fan, then i went for striker, i wanted to score, i just couldnt cope with the pressure, but then, i became a good dribbler and passer, with good shooting, i became a CAM, im happy with it and i thrive in this position
When I was young, I played in several positions as my peers speed was kind of level with me and not much skill going on. I played GK, RB, RM, and CDM. I then settled on GK as my skills can’t keep up but my physicality and reflexes can. Turned out to be kinda the right choice. I now play in goals, and in some occasions, full backs.
I used to play on the left wing because when I was a kid like everyone I wanted to play up front us much as possible but after spending some time as a winger my team got a new manager who saw that I can be much better as an cm since I was good at dribbling but not as good as most other wingers and I had good vision and shooting and I have to say I’m more then glad I’m playing cm now because it fits me a lot better
I was not sure about my position but after watching this i realised that i am perfect at center midfield and am very good as a striker. thank you for the video keep going
As a coach, it helps a lot when the player knows their positions. Sometimes we need to fill out a spot and there’s those few players that you can always count on to play most positions. It gets difficult when a player only wants to play one, and when asked if they can play in another they look confused and ask what to do in that position.
I am 6'2 but i have a low centre of gravity,I am a pretty good dribbler ,I have mad stamina can play for 4 hours straight without having any issue ,I have insane vision ,I love to defend,I love to score longshots ,Mostly i run all over pitch which makes me a box to box . That's how you know i am in the Heart of my time .
I’m a CF but I can play anywhere. My best attribute is dribbling, and my worst is probably defending/ passing (I don’t really have a worst attribute but those are probably what I’m not the best at.)
At first i was sure of myself being LWB , but with this video i am lost , i got everything for a LB , but also everything for a CDM (also i play as a LW for my team cuz we lack attackers and i'm pretty good at it)
My position history 1st-Lw/RW 2nd-st 3rd-cb 4th- GK 5Th-cm 6th-cam 7th-Lb/rb 8-Gk again 9- cam again 10- winger again 11- st again 12-Cdm 13-Cam again 14-st again 15-cm 16-GK 17-Cam again NOW-CM I know im undecided but now i think ill be really good at Cm but i might change again we never know until we know
I started playing as a Center Forward back in 2013 in my class 7, then played as a right winger, left winger, central midfielder, even as center back and GK too, I saw that I was a total flop in defensive roles... I was more comfortable in attacking roles, especially Attacking midfielder, I also have scored goals playing in that position
I'm in my mid 30s and considering getting back into football. I used to play semi pro as a right back but I'm very technical, have a good touch, a fast runner and can pass well. Im also quite naturally defense minded. After watching this video, i feel like CDM is where i would suit now.

Hello Jay Mike sir, I have a good passes, well good dribbling, but doesn't have good speed but have good long range shooting but doesn't have finishing. Which position do you recommend for me?
Can you do a video on dembele
Dude .. on what you have said my best position is to be a defensive midfielder.. and yes i have been at that position or as a centre back for the past 3 years( exept last year where i played as a CF and became the 2nd highest scorer in my school tournament) but i really have a lack of power or weight in my passes.. i am good in short passing(the best in my whole school) but when i do long passes it just isnt there.. so what should i do.. will it affect my game?? Or is it not that great of an issue?? Pls help
Can you please tell me where the name/vlag comes on those beautiful pogba boots? I might buy them soon and I'd really wanna know. Thanks!

Moments like getting the ball from my opponent, passing it to the striker who scored a goal will always be great memories. .
What's a box to box player? Please tell.

Op bro
everytime at training when a match begins I automatically find myself standing in RB, it's like that is my desired position
What is your age
I used to be a striker but now I'm a RB
It comes down to many factors too :
- How good you are at adapting? Some
players like in many positions or change them thru time like CR7 from Winger to Striker or Bale from left back to winger. Another big examples are like Messi from Right winger and “False 9” to Center Forward or CAM
- Some players can play at multiple positions such as Mbappe on all fronts , Sergi Roberto back in 2016 played in 7 different positions (CM , RW , RB , CDM , LB , RM , LM) , Kimmich as RB or CM , and I could go on
- Currently is all about how can you contribute for the team , examples of this is like Pep Guardiola having KDB , Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden playing CM , RW , LW , ST , CAM while doing defensive duties
Thank you for advice!

@@jotarokujo9587 Yeah I would be perfect as cdm and I’ve been pretty good as cdm so far thanks 🙏
CDM is one of the best position.

I was once a RM. I aspired to be like David Beckham when he played for United. An unfortunate meniscus injury sidelined me, I gained some weight, lost a lot of speed, and I was so scared to be the dribbler I was once before my injury.
When I was In fifth grade,I kept asking the team's coach to let me play CAM, and now I still is a left back even though I am not the best defender

I used to be a CDM but after a while i really loved dribbling and became a Left Wing

A couple of weeks ago, I even dribbled all the way from about half way and crossed it into the goal and scored.
I was so confused between playing as a centre back or a midfeilder and then I realised that I have the ability to create chances and at the same time have a good dribbling and defensive stats and then the only option left was to play as a central defensive midfeilder and your video helped me to figure it out and giving me the confidence of playing as a central defemsive midfeilder.

At least I know my name is always gonna be on the team sheet.

thanks to my speed, stamina, and strenght i was an RB/LB cuz i can't do that much dribbling but i can hold the ball,I have an acceptable vision,But i am an aggressive player so i have to be RB/LB,i was Right,or Left winger before, even if i am more right leg,but my left was acceptable i think
:D
Which position is the perfect for YOU? /Jay
Defender
Forwarder 😎
Sir I am good GK, but I also want to play as an attacker, but I am also a good defender, what should I do, cause I do all things different times
Center back or midfield
Striker/left winger 🔥🇮🇳
i wanted to play as a striker(st) but i wasn't good at finishing long story short i changed into a center midfielder(cm) and i was really good at it
Really nice dude, good to find what you are food at, just hoping one day I could play
@@delightokoli1424 thanks bro
Thanks for the information, now I have confidence of choosing who will be better for my soccer team.
I always play attacking, anything attacking but when I tried playing full back RB I played well too. Don’t set limits to where you should be playing, try new positions
same, i literally play anything on the left side
This really helps. I definitely an attacking/central mid
Thank you!!
Thanks
I used to play as a goal keeper.
Being also a American Football/Basketball player I was amazing at keeper and that’s about it
I have pretty solid stamina and i am fast so I played RB mostly in my career, even tho i wanted RW or ST but trainer decided to use me on RB as we had enough attackers. I could play 90 minutes with full sprints and used it as RWB which was rly fun running forward and beating opponenents LB/LM 😅 and yet, i enjoyed tackling!!
You have the mindset of a modern fullback
CB AND CM I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS ITS HELPING ME SO MUCH
I used to play CF before but i couldn't much of a scoring but i offen dribble and win ball in situations and after seeing this i find my self perfect at Defensive mid and Centre mid and also attacking mid im more of a producer and compact at these positions
During my competitive days, I used to play across all attacking positions before settling in at AMC or 'in the hole' as they say. Got out of the competitive scene just before the traditional 10 died out. Do try out the different positions as they make you read the game better.
is amc attacking mid?
@@BetAmpClipz yup, Attacking Mid Centre. AM, AMC, CAM or more casually, the number 10 - they're all referring the same position
I really think I'd be a great upfield player... My passing, dribbling and shooting are pretty good and my own teammates have said they think I should play a more attacking position based on how they've seen me play during practice. but my coach always throws me at CB just because I'm big and can make a tackle. It's super frustrating being stuck at the back all the time when I know I can help more upfront :(
Did this get better? Did you switch position or team?
What position do you think I should play?. I am a fast player with excellent 1 on 1 skills and good crossing , vision and shooting. But then I have good defending although I am not very physically powerful.
I’m currently playing for a league 2 team in England at youth level.
An RB and LB would be good for you
Winger
Winger
winger/midfielder
Would love to get a heart by Unisport, you just uploaded the vid 40 secs ago
I am a 12 year old, who plays as a winger/striker/ mid-fielder. But I'm usually good and being a Winger and sometimes even a Mid-fielder. By the way, I don't play at a club but I play in my School Soccer Matches
I'm just starting football again after a year and I was a Rb or a Centre Half and I'm starting again in RB so yeah happy days just love watching these videos to remind me of stuff too!
Please start a series of becoming professional footballer... Please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Get off minecraft
0:31 in bangladesh everyone wants to be striker 😂😂
No ,Na re Bhai Ami Cm 😂
@@iDCwhatyousay_98 nice bhai amar moto😅👍
@@Mahid.OG.07 Take love bro ,We are different
@@iDCwhatyousay_98 yep we are not in herd... So congrats.
@@iDCwhatyousay_98 we (cm s) have to everywhere in the pitch, just like Gullit 🗿
Very helpful insights, thanks for always supporting me and others like me.
I think I can play as A CAM or Winger because I love to dribble and skill, shoot, pass and be rapid. Thanks for the guide bro you helped me a lot🙏🙏🙏
My strong points are:
Physicality: strength and aerial battles
Vision:
Shot power
Defending
Commanding
Positioning (good at both types but mostly defensive)
and volleys
Which position should I be (or should I stay as centreback)
(Also I’m not really fast)
Before this viedo I was confused so much much thank to you you let me to start of my career as attacking mid fielder
I was a cdm for a while but my position is a right winger I don’t score a lot of goals but I make good runs and I make great assists
Hope this helps😊
after analyzing all the points, I learned I am good at being a winger. Thanks a lot!!
I was not sure about my position but after watching this i realised that i am perfect at center midfield and am very good as a striker.
thank you for the video
keep going
As a coach, it helps a lot when the player knows their positions. Sometimes we need to fill out a spot and there’s those few players that you can always count on to play most positions. It gets difficult when a player only wants to play one, and when asked if they can play in another they look confused and ask what to do in that position.
At first I wasn’t sure so I went with fullback/centerback but since I am better at attacking than defending I thing I should be a striker or cam
This helped me a lot, i thought I was a striker, until I watched this video and figured out I was a cam/rw
At first i was sure of myself being LWB , but with this video i am lost , i got everything for a LB , but also everything for a CDM (also i play as a LW for my team cuz we lack attackers and i'm pretty good at it)
My position history 1st-Lw/RW 2nd-st 3rd-cb 4th- GK 5Th-cm 6th-cam 7th-Lb/rb 8-Gk again 9- cam again 10- winger again 11- st again 12-Cdm 13-Cam again 14-st again 15-cm 16-GK 17-Cam again NOW-CM
I know im undecided but now i think ill be really good at Cm but i might change again we never know until we know
I started playing as a Center Forward back in 2013 in my class 7, then played as a right winger, left winger, central midfielder, even as center back and GK too, I saw that I was a total flop in defensive roles...
Thus vid really helped me to know what position I should play and it helped me realized i should be a Striker cuz am really good at finishing
I smiled when you were talking about me it was easy to spot…… Attacking Midfield 💯
