I'm the same I used to be big into it and played from 8-11 and played for fun with my friends a bit after but eventually just lost interest. Now at 17 I'm trying to get back into and am just starting to practice so I can't wait to see what the end goal could be.
@@Youssef-kx4cd my routine is every monday, wensday and friday training sessions for between 1 to 2 hours. For the first 15 minutes I did stretches and a light jog to get the blood flowing. After that, a bit of the basics for the next 45 minutes. I had no equipment so I did everything based on my footwork alone - i practiced my touches with juggling, did some v dragbacks, step overs and some light dribbling into the box before taking a shot on goal. Since I did this all by myself it isn't the best, but it's better than giving up on my dreams. But, if you have a friend to practice passing with, or friends for you to practice attacking or defending with (or even as a goal keeper), then all the more better! If not, some substitutes could be a wooden/plastic rebound board to practice your touches or passes (a wall works great too). You could also use old shoes as makeshift cones to practice dribbling around "defenders". There's some other things I did, too. Plenty of digital resources, like unisport, that gives some helpful things as well. Hope this helps! Godspeed 🙏❤️
Totally agree with this video. I was Ok at footy up to the age of 13. I spent the summer holidays, about 6 weeks, of training and when I went back to school people slowly realised I was a load better. I was a defensive midfielder that could split defences with my passing. Can't play any more due to medical reasons. Good times were had though!

I remember back in high school when there was a inter school tournament, I wanted to play in it. So i started playing football before 7 momths from the scratch to participate in it. Focusing on all the basics in the first 2 month alongside focusing on my fitness and flexibility, From month 2 to 5 i traied so hard to improve those techniques and get faster with the ball and choose a position for myself ( LW ) And then the final 2 month i played more than 20 matches and gained some match experience. Over-all, The journey was fun and i was just shocked on how much i improved in the span of few months. This shows that you can actually do anything if you really focus and stay dedicated.
I just started playing football, and my friends put me at defensive mid-fielder. My dribbling skills are okay, but they only put me at that position because I'm fast apparently. After we lost a game to a class one year younger than us, I decided I should buy a football and play at home. I've improved my dribbling, and because of that, I get the ball more. I haven't scored any goals yet but I have done ten headers 😅 I don't know if that's good but I'm proud
I’ve been helping with my sons footy team and it’s really satisfying to help encourage kids improvement and see them grow. Sent this to one of the coaches. A really cool experiment. I had 2 people at school long ago I helped teach and one of them played for Peterborough Utd up to about U17 level so became a solid player.
I wish i had a friend who'd spend 30 days to introduce me to football. I really like the sport, its unfortunate that i never found the chance to be involved
@@menoobiefr1209I’m practicing right now I used to not even pull off 5 in a row and now I can consistently hit 100 it takes time but trust me it’s worth it my touch is 1000x better now and I feel a lot more comfortable dribbling
I am already 18 years old and I just started playing football/soccer recently like 3 days ago. I was interested in this sport when I was young but it was hard to play since our place did not have any available football fields or any wide place so I focused on other sports. I am having so much fun playing football and very much interested in continuing to do so. I am actually planning to buy my first football shoes/cleats later. I am a complete beginner at every aspect of the game but I know for sure that I am confident with my physical abilities. I am average with my speed and acceleration but I got a pretty decent body since I have played combat sports and a lot of contact sports. I am also striving to learn and get much better. This video was fun and inspiring to watch thank you.
Mate you are such a good friend. Forget the video and views getting a friend into soccer is such a quality of health and life improvement. Wish we all had a friend like this.
There is no way this kid has never played football. His technique on day 1 looks far far far ahead of someone who has never played football. Sick video tho and the improvement was fairly good for someone who has never played the sport . Kieran for a prem team future coach 👀.
Incredible incredible content this is!! I wish I got this gentleman with me to get training, I'm also playing football for amateur, I wish to become more skillful
Thanks mate for making a video like that, really appreciate it and would be hoping for such stuffs there even in the future. This one's really helped me a lot BTW!
This video makes me so happy. You're so supportive of Toby and he's making so much improvement. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of encouragement and guidance and people can make a ton of improvement in so little time.
Left footers always have potential 😅 Loving the details put into the video, such as the shooting heat up 👌 Great to see the improvement, fair play to him! 👏💪
@@equicxks It is possible to change your own dominant foot. You just have to use your weak foot at every opportunity you get and train with maximal intent until it outgrows your strong foot. It's not rocket science.
i started playing practicing yesterday and today is day 2. i’m logging my progress for as long as i possibly can. i’ve always been pretty good at most sports i try. comparing my day 2 results to this i’m very excited to see where i’ll be in a month.
I think this is a video everyone should watch, not just the ones that play football. The idea is the same in basically every endeavour, I haven't touched a football since 8th grade (though I'd like to start playing again for fun) but I still found motivation in other areas of my life which I'd like to dedicate this time to and improve just like your friend. Great video and well done to the both of you.
Hi can you please share in detail what all you trained and how you did it exactly. I am pretty sure there are many who are watching who can benefit a lot from that and would appreciate it.
U just made me 5 times more confident and more excited about the weekly trainings with the team and with myself 1 time a week. thank u so much and I bet U helped alot more people Keep the great work 👍👍😁😁😁😁
1 on 1 coaching seems so good.. I've played since under 8s and NEED this sort of coaching instead. Getting taught as a team is great, but it doesn't always benefit everyone as we all have different skill sets and level of experience with a certain skill.
Amazing video, concept and editing! Liked that idea so much, would probably inspire all the people who would like to learn how to be better at football :)
Fr I was absolutely trash at soccer I couldn’t even do 1 juggle. After some self training I managed to juggle 5 times with being able to do the rainbow I got picked in my school team and just improved since then now I can do 30 keep ups in a row but I have stopped training @@PolandMapping

I watched this video like 2 months ago and I started playing football with my friends a month ago. After a month i can actually see alot of progress. My shooting, driblling and speed have improved drastically and even my defending has gotten better. I now am able to hit curve shots. Just gotta improve my shooting and my dribbling will eventually get better as I play.
I’m 16 atm and i’ve just started to get into soccer/football. I’ve been practicing basics so far but i haven’t made much progress yet. i’m looking to work harder so i can get better ! hopefully at least a few months from now i can be average at the sport. (and try not to give up)
I love videos seeing people teach others and help them find a new thing that they might love now (and the sverige jacket or jumper whatever you call it)
I know this is a year old video, and probably no one will ever see this, but I don't really care, so I'm just ramble a little bit So last year I've gotten really into football ig my passion for it has risen up again and it gotten so strong that it made me stop my 7 year long boxing career which I will start again in a week or 2 but I still want to play football I'd prefer to play in a farmers league rather than be in a championship ring. I'm really sad I wasn't given a chance like Toby got. I've played 2 years of football when i was very little. I played when I was 6 till 8. I am now 15 years old and told my dad I want to start football again but he told me I am too old to start now, he told me that I'll get destroyed and humiliated which I doubt but I feel like he's right everyone at my age already is training under a "big club" in my country but I'm honestly not that bad. I average 15 keep ups, my dribbling isn't my best factor, my accuracy is honestly good most the time, I was the 3rd fastest in my school last year and went racing nationally which I ended 7th, my control needs the most amount of help really. But the thing is my dad at 18 was the best in my country, honestly a game changer type of player young Messi/Ronaldo, he was do good he was in the newspaper cover in Greece which is not where he's even from and him saying these things and my grandpa backing him up really fuckinh hurts. I just want to be given a chance, a chance at training, a chance to prove my worth. I just want to get back into the game because, really, I love the feeling of being on the field. When I'm in a ring, I feel uneasy and uncomfortable. I don't like to hurt people, but everyone tells me I have so much talent in boxing so much potential. But I don't fucking like it anymore, I want to go back to playing ball I want to have that feeling again. My cousins that used to play competitive football last year (one stopped because he became a dad and the other because of health problems) take me to play with them and their friends sometimes and honestly while I'm definitely not the best there I'm also definitely not bad, shit I even score atleast once a match. I just hope my dad could see it from my eyes, but sadly, he can't. If anyone actually took the time out of their lifes to read all of this, I'd just like to say thank you to hear me ramble, and I hope you have a wonderful day whether you read this or not.
@tobiastheg thanks mate, few days ago my dad told me I would have been a great defender and after a lot more matches with my buddies i have to agree the most I could ever do is as a cdm, which I wouldn't mind but idk if I can still convince my dad to get me to training, thanks for the kind words have a wonderful day.
I mean, for someone thats never played football before, he wasnt even that bad to begin with. But still big improvement. Interesting and unique concept Kieran!
Im brazilian, played in semi professional level, today sometimes I do coach mentorship with some football beginners I find in reddit. Here some advice for you: this video is cool and really helped his fundamentals, but the best pratice is on game, playing against real players, because this way u understand the game, you develop your senses and also you increase your confidence. The video is for youtube so his focus was be good to show for youtube audience he could kick the ball better, his mind was focused on that, he had no pression of a real dispute or game, but in fact, a lot of guys who cant control the ball, cant kick, cant play, generally are roasted or feel bad about being rejected inna football match, losing confidence and feelig a lot of pression inna match, i know cause i know some guys like that. When u pratice direct in the game, u learn how the game happens, some situations that always repeat in the pitch, and u start to adapt to these situations, for example, in some match, as horrible as you are, u gonna focus only in ball control, u wont give af about the rest, ur first focus gonna be receive the ball, control it well and look for someone to pass, without rush, then when u be good at it, step to learn pass the ball better, it looks simple but its not... and then defend. Let skills and tryna be CR7 for the last, basic fundamentals inna real match is so pleasure to execute, I remember play with better and older guys than me when I was yung, it helped me a lot being a good player, because when I played with em I was so focus on doin the basic, receive, pass, and defend.
Sir i want to become a profissional football player( I have this desire from class 5). But my situation was not allowing me to become one .now I am 18 years old I can do anything it takes to become a professional football player. could I still make it? Please reply to me..
well this just motivated the heck out of me. I have a trial for a club in my country's non-league (essentially 4th tier, semi-pro) literally in 15 hours' time. So pumped!!
@@PolandMapping I actually got into the team for their pre season...trained with them for like 6 months and ultimately did not make the final squad for the league. Good experience nonetheless!
Great Vid! Amazing to see the development from a training perspective. Including soccer games and at home practices was smart. Though training is only one aspect. Going 30 days straight with soccer training can negatively affect overall physical performance. I would keep the overall same training but would include nutritional guidance, strength training, and post soccer recovery therapies to enhance muscle development, stamina, and reduce risk of injury/soreness. (i.e. swimming/light exercises day after games) Thanks for sharing. I am like Toby, so it gives me hope for my next month's training and development. :)

It’s never too late to start. I’m still a noob at the sport but the tip I have is to watch where your hitting the ball so that when you get a good hit you know how and where you hit the ball so you can stay consistent with those kicks

Hey, I have school selections. Can you tell me how you trained and what time?
I dont have any equipment thats why.
@@yqr.345howd it go
I just started playing football, and my friends put me at defensive mid-fielder.

I love videos seeing people teach others and help them find a new thing that they might love now (and the sverige jacket or jumper whatever you call it)
I know this is a year old video, and probably no one will ever see this, but I don't really care, so I'm just ramble a little bit
So last year I've gotten really into football ig my passion for it has risen up again and it gotten so strong that it made me stop my 7 year long boxing career which I will start again in a week or 2 but I still want to play football I'd prefer to play in a farmers league rather than be in a championship ring.

How do you measure the ball speed / shot power? And how far back are you supposed to setup the ball for someone working on their shots? Great video!!

(i.e. swimming/light exercises day after games)
Thanks for sharing. I am like Toby, so it gives me hope for my next month's training and development. :)
