You didn't mention low-wattage CPUs vs high-wattage. The general advice I see is that your better off with a good quality air cooler for low-wattage processors, but for the high-wattage ones, you should use an AIO.
You really should include the Phantom Spirit 120 for air coolers, and Arctic AIOs, as they are popular and highly regarded by reviewers.
Also, Deepcool is now banned in America because they did business with Russia.

I used my Artic Liquid freezer to go with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D a RTX 4090 with a NZXT N7 motherboard I’m running DDR5’s and no issues and it rarely kicks in to loud cooling mode I’ve set it p for silent mode. I recently got LF III 420mm AIO, for ~USD100, as an upgrade to my Cougar Poseidon GT 240mm, cooling my Ryzen 7700 CPU. What a difference, temps down by nearly 10C, much more silent, settings adjusted, while able to hit 5.3Mhz All-core load (drawing constant ~125W) and 5.5Mhz Single-core. Planning to upgrade to 9800X3D in a years time and this AIO will do the magic. :)

@@ajjames1960 not the best but very good and very cheap. there are a bunch of versions like the peerless assassin 120 se, the phantom spirit 120 se and the newest version which is the phantom spirit evo. all of these are great, cost something like 30-50$ and perform amazingly. i would definitely go for one of these, unless you don't like how they look or they don't fit your case (cuz they are kinda chonky) or they don't have clearance with your ram. from what i have checked you need a low profile ram for these but you probably won't have a problem with most mid tower cases. if you are going for aesthetics, even if you don't encounter ram clearance issues you will still hide your ram, meaning you won't be able to see the rgb glow from them. as far as performance goes these can easily cool something like a 7800x3d and still be relatively quite.

All I know is I swapped my air cooler on my 7800x3d for a AOI 420mm. The air was keeping the cpu cooler vs the AOI. Aesthetics wise the AOI wins, actually doing the job the air was better. Giving it 2 more week's. If the temps keep up I'm switching back to a air cooler setup.

Out of curiosity... what was the methodology? I didn't watch every second but I scanned through and checked the chapters for a build scenario. There are so many of these vids that feel like shills to me as they use bench comparison rather than real world. Worst case in an el-cheapo case would be a better comparison for me as then the user is going to see at least the results witnessed. I have a bench setup with an AIO and a 7800X3D. Numbers mean nothing to that chip and it utilises the cooler with it's temp sensitivity to make the most of its power.

Easily. I have a OC'd 13600k, which I run at either 6GHz on two cores & 5.8GHz on the other four or at.5.5GHz all cores (gaming) I use a contact frame and Kryonaut paste. My Arctic Liquid Freezer ii 280mm easily cools this, gaming temps peak at 55°C (21°C ambient) Stress testing on the higher clocks saw temps in the mid 80's°C (21°C ambient) Arctic Liquid Freezer ii & iii are typically cooler than the competition but you should be good with any 360mm AIO (There have been some excellent deals on Liquid Freezer ii coolers now they've been updated)

This is really misleading. Some of the fans have way lower max rpm, also they are much quieter. So unless this test is made with several test cases like max RPM or max bearable noise level then who knows how good the AIOs really are. It is really weird there would be such a huge difference of 15+ degrees between 360mm AIOs. It is obvious this is due to the fan speeds being vastly different at default. Which again, makes this test very misleading. I was thinking wow the Gigabyte aorus WF X II must be the bomb, how come it is so much better than other coolers every time. Now it's obvious it has to do with the fan speeds.

There isn't much point in using a 240mm AIO except for aesthetics, a good air cooler will easily out perform it. A 280mm should have an edge over an air cooler, any air cooler in both temps and noise levels but you're limited to something like an i5, for an i9 you probably want a 420mm.

Hi, you should build pc yourself, but if you cant be sure to check some things:
      1. Clock speeds of ram and cas latency.
2.Does pc have additionall fans ( not 100% needed), and good airflow.
      3. If theres info on fan orientation, be sure fans at top are exauhst cuz if they are intake they can collect alot of dust.
4.check the disk (hard drive or ssd) look up for write and read speeds.
      5. Look at psu tierlist if your psu is in a,b,c tier, just for pc to last more.
      6. You should check price of 4060 ti super and 5600x in your country.
Remember that built pc are always more expensive.

the biggest issue is with 420mm AIO's there are almost no options.
and even worse is that there are almost no reviews or comparisons of 420mm AIO's as well.
what if i have a huge case that has the place for a 420mm AIO in it? why would i choose to opt for a smaller 360mm AIO instead utilizing all of the top space in my case for radiator airflow with a 420mm AIO?
and the worst thing is, because almost no one is covering and comparing these very few 420mm AIO's, some of the brands cheap out and actually produce 420mm AIO's that perform WORSE than their 360mm AIO counterparts (for example Corsair H150i (non ICUE) outperforms their H170I (non ICUE), however there is literally only one single video that covers this topic.
Asus's only 420mm AIO is their ProArt 420mm AIO which no one has bothered to review and compare, Arctic's Freezer 3 420mm AIO is hardly ever covered by anyone or compared to any other 420mm AIO - seems like the only people "reviewing" it are pre-paid reviewers.
