I've been interested in the Timeless AE as well but it hasn't had too many reviews so far. Thank you for another great review! 👍
@LilMil Yes, I have them both now. The Heyday are very good in my opinion but whether they better than the og Wu will largely depend on your preferences and if you think the $50 price increase is worth it. The Heyday build quality is all metal and it comes with a modular cable where the og only has a metal faceplate and a standard 3.5 or 4.4 termination (depending on your choice). The Heyday has better clarity but loses some of the bass from the og tuning. To my ear, it doesn't sound like a night and day difference in tuning and you will probably be happy with either. It just depends on what you want and prioritize.
Is the planar timbre noticable or annoying in this IEM? Kinda afraid of planar IEM timbre because i usually use dd IEM, and much reviewers says planar iem timbre not for everyone. Thanks

@@HobbyTalk with regards to planars I’ve got the LetShuoer Z12 on which I did the full Michael Bruce TOTL mod, and omg…it really becomes end game, in any price bracket I’d like to think. I also have the P1 Max…would it be worth getting this set? My wallet is screaming already…and the missus might leave me🤣🤣🤣
@@conroyscott2206 I have a pair of S12s with the Michael Bruce TOTL mod as well and it is amazing how good they sound.

Ya you are!
I see the usual suspects are praising these as expected. The originals have better specs and are $50 less. Quit being a shill.
Please elaborate in detail why you think so.
This has objectively better build quality, better more durable cable & an updated driver. All these things combined amounts to a $50 increase, as well as the arguably more mature (for lack of a better word) tuning.
It's resonable. With the earlybird price of $179, it's a no brainer over the original. Imo.
these are far better than the originals for only $30 more lol
It’s my new daily driver. Not sure what else to say. No Affiliate links either.
@@jasongibson3574 p1 max is real good value! That plus eq would do great. Even without eq, p1 max is nuts value! Also, I don’t have any affiliate links posted
@@jasongibson3574 interesting… yeah, not sure about that tbh… I have a lot of similar tastes to HBB, so I really like Wu, Olina SE, and QKZ x HBB, but I would not recommend hook-x because of its price to performance. I like this IEM a lot, but P1 Max is the best value planar right now, for sure!
