Punch was measured with my 711 clone, off an apple dongle, calibrated SPL at 85db. This is an IEM that changes quite a bit depending on how it’s measured. I did multiple seatings and this is what I ended up with. The bass changes drastically depending on if the IEM is stuck in or eased in. Insertion depth also makes a huge difference.

I think you got your graphs mixed up with the Punch. Every other graph I have seen has it looking very different to the Arcadia when it comes to sub-bass. Should be hitting 74db on your graph without the adapter.

I want a warm, thick, smooth sound for around $100 or less. I don't want brightness. I tried some and they had a slight brightness that was annoying for listening to TH-cam, music, or watching a movie. What do you suggest this year?

Arcadia seems more like my cup of tea, can't stand too much upper mids.

I think the background music is fine and I actually meant to tell you that I'm glad you seem to be more confident about showing your face. I know you didn't seem to be too comfortable with it and that was OK but I like the new format more if you're cool with it. Also, If you have mixups in the future, I think you can probably save yourself some time if you want to add correction subs into the original video instead of reshooting everything. Maybe pin a comment if you think it's needed. Don't misunderstand, I appreciate you taking the time to do it but I know it must be time consuming and potentially stressful when you have so many other things to deal with in your life. Keep up the great work! 🙂

I just bought the Arcadia and I’ll have to agree that it’s the best one I have as well. It replaced my Crinn Midnight which wasn’t very good imo. Arcadia blows it out of the water. My next project will be to get the Shanling ME 600. Have only seen two reviews on it so far. Maybe you’ll review it sometime. The Yanyin Canon is still my best, but it’s way more money, but smoother. Awesome review!

I hope you get to hear the Odyssey since, according to hbb, its even better than Arcadia

80 bucks on aliexpress. Picked up a set for something with spice, different than all my other sets fs. Like the looks but wish it didnt have the stary night bird picture on the outer shell.

I bought a Shure SRH440 many years ago....Quality sound is one of the best into his category/price but one of most discomfortable due its terrible painful headband,too. I bought a leather cushion headband very similar to original Beyerdynamic DT 770/990 series on Ebay for my 440's. Wow! What an incredible change,guys!! just this 8 dollars headband it is a full new headphone feeling. it was like the original should have been released... Now i´m really happy with my Shure 440 not when i bought... 😍💆‍♂

All of the non-compensated comments are not favorable. I had some on order during the original kickstart, but the rep kept lying/going out of communication and moving the ship date out. I'm so very glad I cancelled these. The skull candy crusher ANC are superior and cost less. (yes, there is a video comparing them). The heavys are a joke.

I've got to try a set of the ear clip style buds at some point. I can see how they could be useful for situational awareness purposes even if they don't provide that thump and rumble we would prefer. Thank you for another great one! 👍

The TRN T-Tips ($3-3 pack) fit the CCA CRA like a glove. Their seal and balanced bore give a nice fuller bass with added roundedness and also takes some of the edge off the treble region. I put KZ's 784 silver/blue upgrade cable ($6) on it and I find it hard to put down. Also, got a KZ Bluetooth case ($2) to complete the set. All done for under $25.

What about bass how strong, if we watch movie it really hit that hard for just normal flat?

Earbuds are challenging. "Upper mids" / "female vocals". People are still going to buy it. They do it all the time for IEMs. 😂

I have a massive head, never found a hat that fits. Yet these are fine. So not sure how that works.

Are the 440 also good for casual listening? If not, do you have another hdeadphone in a similar price range?

My world's no1 iem which I made are usin' nicehck cables but it's was 24wires yup balanced, 12 wires per ear..Peace!

I haven’t used a flat head since old school apple pods if those even count. I ordered the dunu alphas but got sent the falcon ultra by mistake and I never re ordered them. Maybe I should try a cheap set

I can finally say it... first. 😁 OK. Got that out of my system. 🙂 Unfortunately, my ears have never done well with flatheads. I wouldn't be adverse to eq but doesn't sound like it would be for be by default. Thank you for another great one! 👍

Do you think I should buy the kima 2 or save up to buy ea1000. I dont like too much bass and i prioritize the vocal with decent tech.

Nearly 8 minutes of arguing with yourself has to be the most interesting bit. Don't care about the aesthetics or the cable or the two pins when above average sound for $20. Not to mention the ear tips and cleaning cloth provided. First world issues.
