Hey fresh, for IEMs with short stubby nozzles like the zetian wu, try using Spinfit CP155 tips. They short nozzles can be tricky to fit in the ears because the insertion isnt so deep. But CP155's are long and narrow tips which will aid in the insertion. IT also improves comfort because the shell of the IEM isnt pressing against your ear as much, and since the insertion is deeper, treble response is improved with less peaks, and the soundstage also gets a noticeable improvement. You'll be pleasantly surprised how nice the heyday sounds with it. You may also wanna revisit some older IEMs you prev reviewed (Like the EJ07M) using the CP155's and see if theres any change.

I feel like the blessings 2 don't pick up footsteps as well in COD (maybe they are too neutral). Looking to upgrade to either the Vulkans or the Mangirds, which one do you think does a better job catching footsteps? 😅Thank you, keep up that great content.
What do the Blessing 2 do that the Hook X can’t and vice versa? Been really enjoying my Hook X for gaming but I’m finding that I liked my Moondrop Kato a lot more for media. Considering the Blessing 2 to use as an all rounder.
Been using the DT177X's lately, but also really interested in the Raptgo Hook-X. Not sure which would be best for games, the original or the HBB version.
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks for the response. If you are looking for more IEM's to try, I'd recommend the Tanchjim Hana (2021 version). I'm playing escape from tarkov with the truthear hexa and loving it. Looking to try out a planar for my next set currently looking at the tangzu wu or the s12.
So safe to say that the raptgo hook x hbb is still a better IEM for Valorant? I am torn between that and heyday and I am hoping to get your response before I complete my order.
@@FreshReviewsYT I found the Hook X to sound slightly artificial and dirty, kinda low resolution (relatively speaking) compared to other planar IEMs. Does the HeyDay sound audibly cleaner for music?
@@jannmitchelle123 nah I don't think so. Here is why I don't think so: 1. It's the warmest tuned planar of all. 2. It's got a piezo treble driver and piezo is a low resolution driver. 3. If you watch Dan Audio Reviews demo or Raptgo and compare it with the Timeless in the same demo, you can clearly hear it offers higher resolution over Raptgo.

Does these still hold it own and worth 200 in todays market because I love the dunu kima and they soound like they could be a bit warmer and more detailed. No a huge FPS gamer but way more of single player gamer?
Im using tangzu wan'er right now for valorant/games, movie and music (rock/pop). I want to know is there any iem worth upgrading in the price range of 50 - 150 dollars for these kinds of purposes? Idk much about iems because this is my first iem after switching from Blackshark v2 pro. For me tangzu wan'er is clear in footsteps in valorant but sometimes it can be too overwhelming if there are a lot going on at the same time. Can you guys recommend me iems that can give bigger soundstage/ more imaging for valorant , movies and music?

I feel like the blessings 2 don't pick up footsteps as well in COD (maybe they are too neutral). Looking to upgrade to either the Vulkans or the Mangirds, which one do you think does a better job catching footsteps? 😅Thank you, keep up that great content.
They’d both be great, but cod is a very difficult sound engine
What do the Blessing 2 do that the Hook X can’t and vice versa? Been really enjoying my Hook X for gaming but I’m finding that I liked my Moondrop Kato a lot more for media. Considering the Blessing 2 to use as an all rounder.
rocking the truthear zeros currently, but the fit isnt great so soon getting the hook x hbb ;)
Been using the DT177X's lately, but also really interested in the Raptgo Hook-X. Not sure which would be best for games, the original or the HBB version.
They’re both about the same. I’d go hbb though
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks for the response. If you are looking for more IEM's to try, I'd recommend the Tanchjim Hana (2021 version). Footsteps and positional audio come through incredibly clearly in Siege and Overwatch. I don't play Valorant and have not used them that much for Apex, but would be interested to hear your thoughts on them for those applications.
would you recommend this iem compare to kiwi ears orchestra lite? Im still torn on what iem should i take
I'm playing escape from tarkov with the truthear hexa and loving it. Looking to try out a planar for my next set currently looking at the tangzu wu or the s12.
Zetian wu heyday is great. The raptgo hook x HBB is chefs kiss for gaming though
Using ZS10 pros but have spent all week looking at more expensive ones... Still can't decide what to try
So safe to say that the raptgo hook x hbb is still a better IEM for Valorant? I am torn between that and heyday and I am hoping to get your response before I complete my order.
Yes. Raptgo still better for mostly all games
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks for the response, I ordered it now :)
@@FreshReviewsYT I found the Hook X to sound slightly artificial and dirty, kinda low resolution (relatively speaking) compared to other planar IEMs. Does the HeyDay sound audibly cleaner for music?
@@phetmoz must be a qc issue, might want it to get replaced
@@jannmitchelle123 nah I don't think so. Here is why I don't think so:
I am using KZ ZS10 Pro, Linsoul IEMS. I wouldn't recommend the brand however, got a bad copy of more expensive pair, got these to hold me over as support took 4evr, then they sent me another bad copy. These ones fine tho.
I'm interested in trying iems. What would you reccomend for csgo and maybe some val in the future? Would prefer to start with something around $50-$80.
Dunu kima
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks, will look at those
Been rocking the SHP9500, haven't really dipped into IEMs much yet but would like to!
I'm kinda tempted to pull the trigger on these. I'd also be interested in a review of the Effect Audio X Elysian Acoustic Labs: GAEA even though these are much more expensive 😅
I don’t need another set of iems anymore but your video is just too good to miss
Does these still hold it own and worth 200 in todays market because I love the dunu kima and they soound like they could be a bit warmer and more detailed. No a huge FPS gamer but way more of single player gamer?
Yea my rankings don’t really change tbh unless some really crazy stuff comes out
Using the linsoul salnotes 7hz zero
Would definitely love to win this. I'm currently rocking my pc38x headset. Would love to try an IEM
How do you think this performs compared to Raptgo Hook Hbb for music/casual story games and competitive gaming?
Tough call because I could see someone going either way. Personally I’d prefer the heyday
Rocking on Truthear x Crinacle Zero. They're pretty good at this price range. I will surely not buy other ones before a long time because when you start to dive into the hobby... ya know, like mices, keyboards... I stay with mices at the moment, it's expensive enough, lol.
Still rocking HD600s.
Never had IEMs before.
Would love to try them though.
