Thanks for continually offering insigts from the perspective of gaming. I'm still rocking the regular Tripowim x HBB Olinas based on your recommendation. After some tip swaps for a good fit and an EQ to make it less bright, they are now perfect to me.
You have opened my eyes to the world of IEMs. Also, I appreciate all of the links in your description. Very useful and I got lost looking at reviews associated to your recommendations
Dt 900 ProX after EQ'ng has been a banger pair of headphones even without a amp/dac. I will say if anyone decides to pick it up, the break in period for the earpads takes a while, I would say about a couple of weeks of use. Going to now play some apex with my legal wallhacks. XD
I love your reviews. I'm switching between my Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohms and the QKZ x HBB IEMs based on your review. The QKZ x HBB are the first IEMs I've bought for gaming, and they have not disappointed. In CSGO, I can easily switch between my DT 990s and my QKZs depending on my mood and still be able to tell exactly where enemies are coming from. Thanks for all your great content.

Hey fresh, for IEMs with short stubby nozzles like the zetian wu, try using Spinfit CP155 tips. They short nozzles can be tricky to fit in the ears because the insertion isnt so deep. But CP155's are long and narrow tips which will aid in the insertion. IT also improves comfort because the shell of the IEM isnt pressing against your ear as much, and since the insertion is deeper, treble response is improved with less peaks, and the soundstage also gets a noticeable improvement. You'll be pleasantly surprised how nice the heyday sounds with it. You may also wanna revisit some older IEMs you prev reviewed (Like the EJ07M) using the CP155's and see if theres any change.
@@FreshReviewsYT Glad to hear! They're like a secret weapon. Also do you think its possible that you also mention what tips you use for future IEM reviews? I'm using the Audio-Technica ATH-AD500X. Hi fresh, I bought the 900pro x based on your recommendation… love it so far. Since I’m within my return window I wanted to know if you find that you are having a bigger advantage with your IEM journey rather than headphones. If so which ones. Specifically for valorant. I’m truly looking for the best possible sound for primarily gaming, but also music listening, and wall hacks to gain the highest competitive advantage, no budget. Have you by any chance also found a better headphone? I really love your videos. Keep up the good work! Amazing content!
@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks so much Fresh. Also I had another quick question. Rocking on Truthear x Crinacle Zero. They're pretty good at this price range. I will surely not buy other ones before a long time because when you start to dive into the hobby... ya know, like mices, keyboards... I stay with mices at the moment, it's expensive enough, lol.
Thanks for the video! I have a few questions if you don't mind: 1. How does this compare to Raptgo x Hook HBB for competitive Valorant? I assume the Raptgo is better? 2. How do IEMs like this or the Raptgo x Hook HBB perform competitively compared to gaming headphones like the Razer Blackshark, Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro, HyperX, etc? 3. Do you just plug and play IEMs to the PC and it would work just fine? I hear that some IEMs need AMP/DAC and I still have no clear idea what they are and if it's compatible with PCs.
Been using the Crinacle Zero's for some time now, I think they're decent for most uses but kinda missing the moondrop chu's for music though those were lovely for me and extremely comfortable

@@FreshReviewsYT Thanks for the response. If you are looking for more IEM's to try, I'd recommend the Tanchjim Hana (2021 version). Footsteps and positional audio come through incredibly clearly in Siege and Overwatch. I don't play Valorant and have not used them that much for Apex, but would be interested to hear your thoughts on them for those applications.
1. Did you pay for this iem? Or was it a review unit sent by linsoul ? Asking so that I can know your biases during the review. 2. Between this and the aful performer 5 which is better for music listening? I prefer a neutral sound with a hint of bass boost while not loosing to much on the details.
I paid for one unit and received one unit free. Both are great for music, I prefer the tangzu over the performer 5 for music personally. The bass feels more textured and detail retrieval is still amazing.
You’re not going to hear me say something that is complete dog butt for gaming is good. These scored well for gaming. But won’t be in my top five for competitive.
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks, I personally dont care about gaming as I dont game much. Hi,currently I have the Linsoul KZ ZS10 Pro,but looking for upgrade
Been using the DT177X's lately, but also really interested in the Raptgo Hook-X. Not sure which would be best for games, the original or the HBB version.
They’re both about the same. I’d go hbb though
Rockin the 15usd iem qkz vk4 ☠️
@@ACE112ACE112 the one I used during the review
@@FreshReviewsYT thanks, I personally dont care about gaming as I dont game much.
In terms of sound only for music (and movie watching etc.) What did you like about the heyday when compared to the aful?
You are one of the few persons who has both. Would love your input on that.
I am confused between these two.
Rn I'm using the classic truthear zeros but I've got the other crinacle collab on order
Using the linsoul salnotes 7hz zero
currently using moondrop SSRs to play competitive FPS games at a high level
Great video review! I’m currently rocking some sennheiser ie300’s
for fps gaming???? eewww... get rid of that thing asap!
@@frieddayfriday they were a gift, but I play all kinds of games and I love em
@@nathanmoser6391 borrowed my friends ie300 to see if id like an iem for gaming i think that was 2 years ago before i start venturing out for iems. I remembered getting lost and looking stupid coz i dont know where the footsteps and bullets are coming from. After of couple of apex games, went back to my 560s immediately. Its night and day. 😅
Get the truthear crin zero. Its cheap and way better.
What do the Blessing 2 do that the Hook X can’t and vice versa? Been really enjoying my Hook X for gaming but I’m finding that I liked my Moondrop Kato a lot more for media. Considering the Blessing 2 to use as an all rounder.
