I'm so glad that there's more people as excited as I am for another Professor Layton's game. My best friend and I bonded because of that game, I'm so glad it's back.
Level really came back swinging, and I couldn't be happier
a brand new IP, a sequel to a cult classic 3DS game, and the return of a beloved character (finally!)
I'm on the Autism and ADD spectrums high-functional but still had problems with problem solving for a while. And when my doctor heard I played video games they suggested the series to me. It wasn't the sole reason I got so good at problem solving but it definitely had a major part in it. So yeah...our gentleman and gentleman in training have a very special place in my heart ❤️😊.

Professor Layton is my favorite game series... Every Nintendo live, I joke with my gf and say a new professor Layton game will be announced. I was never really hopeful but it was fun to have hope for a few mins. With this last Nintendo video, I kept joking more that a new professor Layton would come, specially after seeing so many new games by Lvl 5. When I say Layton from afar on that short scene, i screamed so loud - I screamed for a few mins. I was so happy that a new Layton game was on the way, I couldn't help but tear up.

@@tavoiradio7667 No, they're just friends. Tim does live in the same city as Emile tho iirc, so they hang around more frequently. They and another person called Jon have a collab channel called TheRunawayGuys, also.
@@KanaIzumiya I didn’t mean in the shipping way and I know they’re friends, I’ve been following them for years I just wasn’t aware if they were legit roommates because that happens among friends who are close. Ah alright, just a bit of a surprise that Emile was there in.

I still remember how I happened upon the series
I gave the first game to my mom as a birthday present and ended up playing it myself. The puzzles got me hooked.
As someone who recently started the Professor Layton series thanks to emulator, this compilation is heart-warming

I saw the Direct and it made me actually cry. My boyfriend had to hold back telling me because his stream was a few seconds faster and he had assured me what he saw would make me so happy.
I didn't watch the direct, and I haven't beaten the series, but the good Professor has a special place in my heart ever since I stole my mom's copy of Diabolical Box as a child (only to lose it before I realized you were supposed to put the corks up the guy's nose in the cork puzzle). The hype is so palpable as to be crazy heartwarming.

This reminds me of a puzzle.
I'm new to professor layton as I have the mobile ports of curious village and diabolical box (I completed my first playthrough of curious village and it was a good game it had an engaging and emotional story,likeable characters,Interesting puzzles,Nice animations for the cinematics and relaxing music).
I love how Netbug's microphone couldn't contain the hype.

Also, why is it so good?
While is not necessary to learn everything, Curious Village on the DS is a great introduction to the characters and story, even if it is not necessary, but you cna also watch the anime movie to see them.
Professor Layton is a pretty fun game, but it is not an action one, it is just pack full with little puzzles and it has a nice little mystery and detective case mixed with that, as someone that likes strategy and puzzle games it is great, and even if you prefer action games, the puzzles are more brain teasing rather than brain burning, that mixed with the fantastic music makes this series a classic.
