Just bought a certified 2014 C300 sport w/ the premium & multimedia pkg and keyless-go with 46k miles for 23k. Same price as a new altima or camry but 20x more fun and people think I'm rich
They really don’t though. I suppose it depends on region/locale as well, but driving my A6 around would get a few nods since most kids and younger adults don’t tend to drive those more expensive mid-size and full-size luxury sedans around, but in my C300 it’s just another regular vehicle. Yes, it commands a little more respect than an ILX, or IS, or something, but it’s no different from seeing a 3 Series or A4 around. Excellent car to own though. The only time I’ve ever heard a comment about being wealthly is when I was driving my Tipo M139 QP around, but the truth is that they’re attainable as well, the money only comes into play on upkeep and maintenance.
First car was a 1998 c230, second was a 1995 c220. Getting a 2012 c300 now. Even the old ones are ahead of the times. Just don't buy brand new if you care about resale value.
Hoping I could get advice from you. I’m thinking of buying a used 2008 c300 sport sedan at 63k miles... is that worth a shot or no? What should I be looking out for?
@@bdavila501 check the vehicle history, and demand a pre-purchase inspection (use a experienced mercedes mechanic or german mechanic) and that should tell u if its worth it or not
Love the car I had a 08 c300 luxury trim 195k miles did all the maintenance on it myself as well pretty reliable daily car if you keep up with it definitely
Man... you are right on. I own a 2011 w204 since new. Reliable, comfortable, stylish. I now have a 102k miles and still runs awesome other than it needs engine mounts to soften up the engine vibration. It costs me $200-450 per year for maintenance. I would not buy a 4cyl w204, it’s bouncy and Toyota like. The doors are solid, tank like. The interior is amazing and almost timeless. Mine has all the upgrades, harmon, panorama, halogen, nav, 4matic, blk on blk. With tinted windows it looks awesome. I also bought a c43 last year without trading the c300, I just couldn’t do it so I kept it as a second car, yet, it remains my primary because of the comfortable ride, smooth engine, sleeper lux look. The c43 is like a race car and it feels like im riding on pogo sticks. Yet, both have their purpose and appropriate for a particular mood. I recommend the v6 from 2009-2011, im not sure the 2012 is a v6. I be glad to post pics if anyone cares to see it after 8 yrs of ownership. In 2008 it was awarded the car of the world.
@@Havik_1996I have had the luxury to own two 2008 and 2013 4matic…and for first buyers is great…car is hands down reliable. Keep up with maintenance and it outlasts any BMW out there. Good luck!
My boss has a 2012 C300 that he bought brand new. He’s got 170,000 miles on it and it runs perfectly. I have an 05 E500 with 280,000 miles and it also runs great. Preventative maintenance is key on these cars.
What do you consider preventative maintenance with a car like this? Something you can do yourself or is it all stuff that has to be done at a dealership?
I fell in love with the C300 a few years ago and I think it’s time I own one. I am gonna start out with an older model like. 2010 and then maybe a 2015 after a year or two. I am not a car guru but I think as a professional and a business minded person, if I am going to pull up to meet a client for lunch or at a coffee shop, I need to drive a decent car and make a good first impression. Nothing wrong with that.
@Quail Man just switch it out and install a 2020 pioneer or kenwood in dash screen. Thats what I did on my 2011 c300 sport. I also installed an AMG 63 front bumper and back bumper. Along with a rear diffuser. I have quad pipes and a modified exhaust. AMG tail lights. AMG wheels. Common people think its an AMG. For some reason I am starting to get more respect and also envy from different people. Im in Tijuana Mexico and the mass population cant afford a benzo so I may be overstepping with the benzo
I bought a 2009 c350 with the amg package. A surprise for my wife. She almost fell on the floor when she saw it in the driveway with a red bow on it. I love how its sooo easy to work on. Tons of room under the hood too. Engineering is just incredible! I'm gunna get one for my daughter too. Its her birthday next month.
I saw this video shortly after I bought mine. Had it for a year. It’s at 130k now. Drives like its mint. Will definitely own another one in the future.
I’ve owned one for over a year. Bought it at 68k, it’s now over 80k, and it hasn’t had a single issue. German reliability is a real thing with the W204.
I own a 2011 and highly recommend buying one if you're thinking about it. They're built over seas not in America and are solid solid cars, mine has about 115k on it and still feels brand new.
Spencer, it means “Original Equipment Manufacturer”. It basically means that you should only buy replacement parts from Mercedes-Benz, because they work best on the cars.
I was born and raised in Europe, and been driving BMW and Mercedes for over 35 years , never had any major issues with any of them … right now I have w222 S550 and Porsche Cayenne, and love it … before I bought my S class, I test drove new Toyota Camry and RAV4… compared to S class , it was like riding in a wheelbarrow … I love my Benz and it brings a big grin to my face and tremendous satisfaction and joy , every time I’m behind the wheel … no Toyota could ever do that for me … as far as dependability goes , take care of your Benz, do scheduled maintenance and regular service , and it will run forever … there is nothing extraordinary to see Mercedes with 400K-500K kilometers on odometer for sale in Europe… they’re all over the place, and they’re not cheap either …
Love my used 2010 C300 I bought with 46k miles 8 years ago. Currenly on 186k miles and still running strong. Came with premium package 1 and 2 and multimedia package. Througout, I've added an android screen, 2012 steering wheel with paddes, HUD display, 2012 tail lights to make it feel up to date. Fixed up these cars can look stunning and really classy. My only regret is not getting a c350.
Just got a 2011 c300. Do I really need an oil change every 10k or should I do it sooner like 3? Also, what else should I be on the lookout for? Currently at 116k and runs smooth, very happy with it
@@juliuscaesart your mileage may vary but for me every 10k interval was fine. Be on the look out for electronic steering lock. Google it. If your car won't turn on unless you have to turn the steering left and right a few times, you may get the issue soon.
@@aznmode1 yes it was, it turns out i knew the old couple. Owner is a old married couple that is property manager and maintenance manager in a apartment complex our plumbing company goes to from time to time. They never used it since they rarely leave and if they do they use their sprinter van for long drives. They bought it with 39k miles and only put 6k with the span of 10yrs. Checked the tires and theyre all made from 2010 so its legit never used. Idk if i can change the tranny oil since it sit that long though.
I've had a 08 C300 since brand new, only 51,000 miles. Still like brand new (knock on wood). I have read the forums of the W205 and W206, and folks seem to have more problems, unfortunately. I also MUCH prefer the styling of the W204.
I just got a w204 C350 coupe with the amg package. It’s fully loaded and I got it for less then 20k. Super fun because it is 302hp and gets off the line pretty quick
I've had a BMW 325i E91 for a year now and it's true that german cars offer a sense of quality that something like a Camry just can't compare with. Also with a german car, you see it as a plus if you get to own it and it actually is pretty reliable. A Camry MUST be reliable, or else you just hate it, get rid of it and buy something else. A german car is a car you like, a car you want to be in and take to different places. I love the moment I sit down in my BMW and know that I have a 500km trip ahead of me. It's the power, the quality, the sound system, the engine note, the design inside and out that completes the experience. Nice to hear that you're happy with your german!
I just got a 2008 a C300 and I love the engine power. It actually feels like a small liter V8. Plenty of torque and horsepower. I can just imagine what the C63 feels like with the 6.3 V8. If someone is looking for a nice German vehicle that will not let you down. Buy a Mercedes’ C 300 or the Beast of a Car C63.
How is your car doing now , I’m looking to buy a c 300 with 115000 miles on it and I’m not sure because I heard Mercedes tend to break down a lot and it takes a lot of maintenance
I only kept buying them because I learned how to drive in one when I was 16. When I turned 18 I went with what I knew. Here I am 3 of them later. What really did it was my bad car accident I walked out of after a Hyundai ran a red lightning and rammed right into my C280. I walked out. I called an Uber home after they towed the C280. I will always buy Mercedes Benz now for sure. It literally saved my life.
RedLight GreenArrow literally happened to me. Learned to drive at 16 with a c280. Got rear ended at 35 + mph and totaled it. Walked away fine. Now I have a bmw 😜
I have one and it’s AMG, with red seatbelts. I get a ton of stares in that car. I love Mercedes this is actually my second one. Probably will never drive anything else.
Eagle1 i agree but it cost lot more than a c300 in these days.. i invest in something that is going to last me a long time not in yunk that depresiate fast and has no value
I know this is an old video but hopefully you keep up with the post. I am coming into some money and upon my research i couldnt believe what the resale value is on a 5 year old c 300 4 matic!!! I bought a 2019 Honda civic sport last year (wrecked it) and it cost me $20k! It really was a great car but upon research i couldnt believe i could have gotten into a MB C 300 4 Matic for the SAME PRICE!!! Yes i am prepared the maintenance costs are a lil more but when doing my research as you stated they are reliable especially if youre looking at one that has the right miles on it at 50-60k. So i have decided with the lil inheritance i have coming my was i am going to go with the MB C 300! Its just so hard to pass up for the amount of car you get at the price point even with used cars increasing quite a bit in resale value thanx to inflation etc. this video helped me even more to go down this road so thank you!
My 2012 C300 arrived yesterday. It does not disappoint. Wonderful video... thank you so much for affirming why I bought this beautiful, luxury car. I won't go back!
I bought a used 2010 C200 Wagon (I live in Japan), and it's been a great car. 106,000km over the last 5 years and still solid without any problems. Nice acceleration and very nimble on the curves. My only complaint is the plastic finish on the window trim surface bubbling and cracking, but minor. I peeled it all off and used armor-all in lieu of the US$500 dealer replacements.
Just bought a MINT 1 owner,2008 C300 62K miles, extensive service history, female owned. $10250 out the door, looks like it never saw rain or even dirt, its my 2nd Benz but not my last and to top it off,i can do 95% of the maintenance on it,,,,life is good!!!!!
Hi I was wondering if this is a good idea for a first car. I know alot of people say "Benz aren't reliable" but for this model I heard it is reliable. However, how is the maintainability as far as oil changes and gas? I forgot to add, is I found one for 100k around $9k; is that considered a good deal?
Faith if you do a history report and make sure everything is kept up yes I had zero issues with mine in fact I found it to be cheaper to maintain than any of the VWs I owned also try to get one with 4 matic otherwise winter will suck if that applies to you
Gbonze17 Hi, Would you please share some of the downside of this 2010 c300, I am buying one within few days. Do you get mechanical or electrical problems frequently? Thank you
@Jose Duran faster to break down, is your 335 faster than my w204 c63 with 280k miles ? That’s what’s I thought. I bought it for 10k too what did you buy your bmw for lmfao? And before you get butt hurt check out my M5 in my profile pic😉
@@the_first_resort940 its not gonna break down first of all the bmw line up especially the m3's from 2008-2013 are extremely great cars it probably would gap the mercedes without question. Grow tf up and do your research buddy.
I bought a 2012 with 27k miles for 28k 4 years ago. It's fantastic with 25mph average and 29mpg on long trips. I have done all the maintenance myself with pelican.com parts, and TH-cam video help for very low cost. It is great in snow, and has nice performance, plus it looks terrific. Don't let dealer costs scare you.
I bought my first mercedes in 2010 when BMW seemed like a bit of a bad deal. After my 2010 c300, purchased that year, I have since owned a 2007 e550, 2010 glk 350, 2012 glk 350, 2010 e550, and another 2010 c300. I have had no issues with ANY of these cars with the exception of a motor mount on the 2010 glk, and a hvac blower motor on the 2012 GLK. Recently I have also replaced a windshield washer pump on the latest c300. Literally, do oil changes, tires and brakes and drive the things. The 2012 GLK, 2010 C300 and 2010 e550 are in my driveway, and are the best vehicles I have ever owned. I once was a VW fanatic, then a nissan fanatic, and honestly these cars blow them completely out of the water. A 10 year old mercedes has technology that other manufacturers only are offering NOW. They cant be beat.
Started employment at Mercedes-Benz a year ago. I've fallen in love with the brand and company only right that I own a Benz. Getting a 09 E350 later this year. I could get a newer model but I love that one. With my discount on parts/labor it's a no brainer!
I recently bought a 2013 c300 with 49k miles for 14k$ best decision ever I have so much fun driving it, its also my fisrt mercedes and definitely not the last.
2008 MB C300 4matic. Reliability, handling, design, speed, safety, comfort. 14 years old, and it runs and looks like new. There is no substitute for quality. MB A#1
Just bought a 2013 C 250 with the dynamic sport package. While lower on power than the V6, the torque is close and on the little turbo, it hits peak torque (229 lb ft) at 2200 rpm and stays through 4500 rpm. And, I’m getting 30 mpg. Not to mention, excellent handling but still a very comfortable ride. Seats are the most comfortable I have sat in in any car! Love the leather suede seats and the 18” AMG wheels. Looked at an A4 Quattro and while quicker, it still suffered from massive torque steer. I bought a German luxury car for the performance, handling, and comfort. Not for the prestige (though it is nice rolling around in a Mercedes). BMW and Mercedes are the only two left in this category that are proper wheel drive (rear wheels) except a couple of the Japanese brands. And those are just boring to drive. I would recommend a C class as well (W204). And don’t be afraid of the 1.8 turbo in the C 250. Still plenty of power, light turbo lag, and with that huge torque band, you can take most anything off the light and leave them dumbfounded. Lol
I got my 2012 c300 in 2019 with about 30k on it. Still have it. Has about 100k on it now. I’ve done pretty much all the performance mods I can on it including ecu tune and a tcu tune. Got the android screen Mine had came with a flat bottom steering wheel but I got a black and red leather stitched flat bottom with paddles. Basically same wheel just paddles and red stitching. Upgraded the entire interior to carbon fiber and a few small accents with red stitching to match the wheel. Been thru about 5 different sets of rims and been running it hard. Hardly any issues. Love my c300. Very comfy to sit in to ride. Only thing I hate is the vibration it makes in the trunk with the spring other than that love it. Will keep it till it dies on me. I actually have a video or 2 on my profile here on TH-cam if u wanna check it out. Those are old tho when I was still working on it.
I’m getting a 2010 c300 with 100k miles. My other car was a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and I put 30k on it in the 4 years I had it. So mileage isn’t an issue to me because I barely drive.
I just bought one from a local auction. 2012 with 30k miles. The car needs a little work but its all cosmetic (only bumper damage). I was planning on flipping it but now i kinda want to keep it.
I have a C280, C250, and an old ML320. The 320 has over 250,000 miles on it and barely needed any work! The 280 got repaired after a bad car accident. The C250 is very similar to your 300. They’re all we drive because I learned how to drive in my dad’s ML320. I went with what I knew because it’s all we bought. What solidified it was when a silver Hyundai rammed into my C280 on my birthday. Ran a red light and hit me at 50mph. I WALKED out of this accident with a little back pain. This is what solidified my decision to never buy anything else. Mercedes is the best or nothing.
I have a 2013 C300 AMG, and I love it. This is my second Mercedes and I simply love these cars. Drove many others but I’ll stick with the Benz. Great video, thanks
My first Benz was the W204 C350 with everything on it and bought it new. Very reliable and took very good care of it and maintained at Mercedes. It never broke down and had enough power for me at 302hp. I now have the W205 C450 AMG which has been a headache for a car that is assembled in America whereas the W204 is assembled in German and you can tell the difference. I'm not the only one with issues and can't wait to get rid of my car now. My videos on TH-cam show clear all my issues and that will lead you to others.
My wife bought her first Mercedes a 2014 c300 4matic in in 2017 for $26,000 with premium tech package and the 3.5 v6 we love the car and it is very capable in the snow , we live in Colorado , we did have a couple glitches with the eco stop start, but turned out to be a tired battery from too many short trips and few good long drives , once the batter was replaced $400 it was as good as new again! wish I would have performed better battery maintenance! original msrp was $51,000 so 1/2 off for a beautiful c class sporty car pretty awesome!
I have a 2012 C300 which is the refreshed design but still has the older M272 and 7GTRONIC. These cars are good in all aspects but no one thing really stands out on a car like this. Love the solid feeling of the car, reminiscent of the old 190E we once had and it's the safe choice but it leaves some things to be desired.
+Djonkie Bonk but I think that's what's so great about it. The competitors leave things to be desired but the w204 does everything well. Thanks for watching!
Indeed a spectacular, future classic MB. Mine has the chip upgraded (around 25 more hp), I installed the Brabus exhaust system and BBS 19 inch wheels; I ordered mine with a six speed manual transmission. Well, I haven’t met anyone who has a bad comment about my car. Very cheap to maintain, very reliable (only the battery died but it was replaced by Mercedes at my home). I drove it from San Diego to Los Cabos, doing 100-120 mph like it was nothing. Nothing beats a Mercedes.
I love my 2011. It was the first year they introduced the LED daytime lamps on the C-Class. I've had it 5 years now, Nov. this year makes 6, and you're absolutely right. I've maintained this car every time it needed something and the ONLY thing that has gone wrong in that time is my battery died. NOTHING else has gone wrong. I got it for $28k + tax with only 11,000 miles. Best decision ever. I highly recommend to purchase one if you're looking for a good and sporty car without breaking the wallet too much
I have c class 300 got it four years ago , it was used with 5800 miles on it . Payed less then 20, 000 . I love my car , love the power behind it , it’s a fun car to drive . Not thinking about trading it .
There is a reason it depreciates like it does! I'd rather have a peace of mind driving a Toyota, than to "impress" people who actually don't give a shit what I'm driving
...........the main reason for the depreciation of Mercedes. especially the E class, are ex-corporate leases flooding the market from major metro areas, then shipped everywhere. Some even lease C class vehicles. Never go to a dealer unless your car is under warranty. If you buy used, get an extended warranty from a reputable co.. Parts are readily available on EBay and other sites. Find an independent garage that specializes in German cars .......there everywhere and less expensive than the dealer. Before purchase, run the VIN # online to insure the car was built in Germany, avoid any built in N America. The key to owning a Mercedes is routine maintenance and care. It's important to educate yourself about your model, there are tons of information, advice, and how to videos on TH-cam to help you out. Look into owners groups locally and online ....they are a treasure trove of information and advise. Remember, if they were unreliable thousands wouldn't be used as taxis throughout Europe and Asia. Treat the car with respect and it will serve you well.
If you’re happy driving a Toyota then do it having a nice car is a lot more than trying to impress random people you don’t care about if you are actually into driving dynamics and having a sporty good feeling ride you go with Benz or bmw
I have a 2012 C250 CDI..... goes like sh.. off a shovel, has all the safety features, has the torque of a V8 and gives me over 1000km from a 58Lt tank. I feel like I’m stealing every time I drive it! Soooo much fun!
I have a 2012 Mercedes c350 amg package, I bought it in 2013 with 32k, it now has 170k. By far the best car I’ve owned, it has had no major issues and it gets looks every time I drive it. I compare the price to my 2014 Nissan Xterra which I bought brand new. It only has 74k and I’ve spent 8 times as much stuff for the x, Mercedes builds their stuff to last.
We just love the W204 so much that there has been 3 in my family now. A 2010 C300, 2012 C350 and a 2013 C250. None of them have given ANY issues. That's an amazing record and value in my book.
Your video hit the nail on the head. When I was looking at a new car a couple years ago, I did my budgeting and figured out I could afford a well equipped Focus or a base model Fusion. Or, it turned out, a 2011 C300 4Matic with 63k miles on it, plus $5,000 that got to stay in my bank account. Haven't regretted that decision for a minute, particularly once I discovered that magical little "sport mode" button that wakes the transmission up. There are a couple things that could be improved: I miss the auto-dimming rearview mirror that I had on my old Hyundai (paragon of luxury which they are), the "leather" seats tear quite easily, and while the 4Matic did get me home in a blizzard, the ESC system freaked out & shut down after using the front bumper to plow my way up a hill (car still kept chugging, though). All in all, very nice car which corners beautifully and has enough pep to make driving exciting, but also rides smooth and quiet for when I don't want "exciting".
2014 w204 sport 4matic was my dream car now its my daily driver bought it for my birthday this year and Im never going back to Japanese crap and I agree with you on your valid statements. I couldn’t justify an Audi or BMW for some reason they just didnt suit me. This car is a reflection of me and pure driving experience
I have a 2008 W204 UK spec C200 CDI Diesel and I love it. It might not be the fastest car I've ever owned but... 50 MILES TO THE GALLON! I bought it with 64,000 miles on it, it cost me £6000 (about $7800 US Dollars). It has the old 5GTRONIC automatic transmission, but I'm happy with that as it's easy to service. I also have a 2002 W203 C220 CDI and that's the worst Mercedes I've ever owned.
+MegaWayneD glad i got a Mercedes viewer out in the UK! That's a great deal for that car! I'm glad your loving it, they really are just fun all around automobiles. Yeah the early 2000's were not good years for Mercedes... I'm sure this one will be better overall
My W203 also has the honour of being the only Mercedes I've had that's ever broken down. I will say at least it's taught me a lot about what to look for when buying a Diesel W204 as well as appreciating how much better the W204 is (especialy metal fuel pipes rather than plastic!)
+MegaWayneD hahaha wow you must have bad some bad luck with that w203. Glad the w204 is treating you better! They actually thought some things through with that one
@@SchwayZ Thought I'd give an update, my W203 is still going despite having now done over 215,000 miles. My Brother in-law now has a W203 C220 CDI Diesel as well. Due to all the experiences with my W203 I replaced all the fuel lines and seals on his car and gave it a good service, so now he's got an amazingly reliable car for £1500 (about $1900 US Dollars).
I love mine. Heads up to New buyers. Only go to garages that focus on European. Never Midas or VIP. These garages can be more expensive but they can keep your car reliable with no bullshit.
I have a 2014 C250 with 55k. Love it no problems. I’ve owned many Merc through the years including a 1983 300 CD that I sold after 20 years of ownership with over 350k miles. Original motor, trans. even exhaust system. If you take care of them they are bulletproof.
Lexus and MB are very competitive in the compact luxury segment, however, in my experience, it seems that Lexus offers better bang for the buck in terms of standard features, and is class-leading in reliability. While no car is perfect, I can assure anyone looking - with personal experience - that Lexus would be better for those looking for long-term ownership.
We have both 2010 IS250 and MB-C300. For myself, I much prefer driving the C300. Both have nav system, tech goodies and etc. The Benz just has more tech than IS in its COMAND system has in its package. Overall, the MB (at lrast mine, which may be tricked out versus normal) has more luxury features than the IS. The IS has cost more to maintain as well, and provides less luxury. Its a different drive for sure. IS does get slightly better MPG on highway, but not much. I get 31 in MB, 32-33 in IS over the same roads. Got the IS from the Lexus dealer. Just my experience so far.
It's a perk to turn heads, but in some situations you want to be clandestine, and a person driving a Merc will usually make a bad impression (only slightly less than when owning a BMW) I value being able to stay clandestine more than turning heads
Saving up to get a newer C Class, really impressed with them and I've wanted one for years now. About halfway there, aiming to get me a 2012 or even 13 for under 9-10k.
I loaned mine since November of 2020 and I am so very happy it's a lot of fun to drive is beautiful and heads turn when I'm driving it can't wait for the summer when it's beautiful outside then I got my sunroof open and oh yeah
I love mercedes and I love the C class. My favorite class is the E class though Right now I'm really into the Audi A7 sportsback but I will definetly buy a C class at some point in my life
I just bought my 2010 Mercedes C300, It is very very nice. It was very well maintained. I just wondering, I was told I should full premium gas but not to Arco, Sam Club or Costco gas. Is that true? Only only Shell, or other expensive gas stations they said their gas is so much better for your Mercedes. I always used Arco and if I'm in are I do use Costco. Please share your suggestions. Thanks for sharing I was a little hesitant in buying but after reading all the positive comments I feel so much better.
I rode Mercedes-Benz E 200 1992 series during my period in College for about 4years (from 2007 to 2011), the vehicle serves me very well and I vouch not to use any other car until I can afford another Benz. Still hoping on that till date.
I wouldn't buy anything German made. I've had both BMW and Mercedes and I'm never going back. Yes they're nice cars and perform well. You feel like the king of the road but wow, they are unreliable! If German engineering is superior, how come their parts don't last? You would think paying a premium for a car you would expect it to be a solid, reliable vehicle. That just isn't the case! I drive Toyotas now and even though they're not exciting cars to drive, I trust them with my life. They're not just reliable, they're pretty comfortable and are excellent road trip cars.
I recently purchased a C280 elegance (2009) and absolutely love it. What luxury. I wasn't happy with the mag wheels (now black) or the number plates (European style now small and white/blue) so swapped these out.
So true. I had mines for 8 years now. Never had any major issues. Maintenance is way cheaper then BMW.
What year do you have?
How much is maintenance ?
What year do you have ? I recently bought a 2013 Mercedes c300

Just bought a certified 2014 C300 sport w/ the premium & multimedia pkg and keyless-go with 46k miles for 23k. Same price as a new altima or camry but 20x more fun and people think I'm rich
+nfsYT exactly my point! Really good deal you got, glad you enjoy the car it's a great one
How has it been?
You aren't driving an E-Class or S-Class. Or even an AMG. No one thinks you're rich, it's an entry level luxury sedan.
No one cares about the class outside the people who actually care about the cars and manufacturers, most people see german:Wealthy
Owning a Mercedes has always been a dream of mine. It'll happen someday
Yeah it will!
And you better believe it
I’ve had a dream of owning a merc since I was like 6 I’m 20 and I’ve own 2. You’ll definitely get yours
You deserve it!
First car was a 1998 c230, second was a 1995 c220. Getting a 2012 c300 now. Even the old ones are ahead of the times. Just don't buy brand new if you care about resale value.
Still driving my 2009 c300. 199k on it. Looks great still. Runs great. I do the maintenance myself. Not bad at all. Smooth riding car.
what kind of maintenance have u done so far? anything big?
Hoping I could get advice from you. I’m thinking of buying a used 2008 c300 sport sedan at 63k miles... is that worth a shot or no? What should I be looking out for?
@@bdavila501 check the vehicle history, and demand a pre-purchase inspection (use a experienced mercedes mechanic or german mechanic) and that should tell u if its worth it or not

Man... you are right on.
I know a bit late, but how is the fuel consumption?
Am interested to see it did u still have it
I'm interested too
Would you recommend the 2011 C-class used as a 1st car for new drivers?
@@Havik_1996I have had the luxury to own two 2008 and 2013 4matic…and for first buyers is great…car is hands down reliable. Keep up with maintenance and it outlasts any BMW out there. Good luck!

I think the same way, money attracts money. Would you rather give your funds to a dude in a beat up honda o somebody driving a Mercedes?
@Quail Man just switch it out and install a 2020 pioneer or kenwood in dash screen. Thats what I did on my 2011 c300 sport. I also installed an AMG 63 front bumper and back bumper. Along with a rear diffuser. I have quad pipes and a modified exhaust. AMG tail lights. AMG wheels. Common people think its an AMG. For some reason I am starting to get more respect and also envy from different people. Im in Tijuana Mexico and the mass population cant afford a benzo so I may be overstepping with the benzo

I bought both of my kids 2011 C300s last year 😁
It's high maintenance but reliable when you treat her well. Just like your wife should be.

Exactly. Change liquids regularly, buy only OEM parts and your wife will run 500,000 miles no problem.
Ivan Yunda what is OEM ?
Spencer, it means “Original Equipment Manufacturer”. It basically means that you should only buy replacement parts from Mercedes-Benz, because they work best on the cars.
My 2006 C280 lasted me 188,000 miles and 12 years and would still be going strong had it not been rear ended. Best car ever!!

I have a 2017 E class. My wife has a 2017 GLC and my son drives our old 2011 C class. The only car we will ever buy is a Mercedes Benz.

Lol
Only downside, those turbos will leak eventually and are expensive to fix
I highly recommend to purchase one if you're looking for a good and sporty car without breaking the wallet too much
James Hector did the ESL die on you?
C 300 4matic 2012... 187k miles 🤘💣
Any issues with it?
Have you gotten any problems?
Nothing at all, just changed the motor mounts at 150k,still runs like new
I have a 2012 Mercedes c350 amg package, I bought it in 2013 with 32k, it now has 170k. By far the best car I’ve owned, it has had no major issues and it gets looks every time I drive it. I compare the price to my 2014 Nissan Xterra which I bought brand new. It only has 74k and I’ve spent 8 times as much stuff for the x, Mercedes builds their stuff to last.
Also they are both v6 the xterra gets 11 mpg with around 300 horsepower and the Benz gets 22-28 mpg and makes right at 320 hp.
These can look 1000x better or more expensive if they’re properly modified as well. (Black out, storm trooper, rims, colored calipers, spoilers, etc.)
+Harv72b thank you for watching! Glad you agree!
Best car ever
I have had mine for almost 3 years now
45000 miles 2013 model
i just got one from an auction. 2012 with 30k miles on it, was going to flip but now might keep lol
@@mikehawk8198 I am thinking about getting the 2017 model now
I want to buy one but I have to wait a few years
+Jessica H they will be even cheaper then so good idea
I’m buying a 2008 for 8500
Jessica H Like the comment said below a 2008 one is cheaper
It will be cheaper but it will be a nightmare to own once major components start breaking down.
CastrejonHDTV as long as the car was properly maintained and being taken good care of, then you don't have to worry about that
2014 w204 sport 4matic was my dream car now its my daily driver bought it for my birthday this year and Im never going back to Japanese crap and I agree with you on your valid statements.
@@MegaWayneD wow glad to hear it's running strong. I think it's proof that if you take good care of your cars they can last you for very long
2024 I've just brought a 2013 C250, Love it. low miles only 63K. C Class Sport plus AMG line model. paid £8500 for it. alot of car for the money.
The place you choose for recording your video is fantastic !
I love mine. Heads up to New buyers. Only go to garages that focus on European. Never Midas or VIP. These garages can be more expensive but they can keep your car reliable with no bullshit.
Tip: Buy parts on ebay and have a mechanic who is okay using this part on the repair. This will make repairs cheap.
Adam Parish hey bro I have c300 too so is it true if I look the parts on eBay I shouldn’t have a problem with expensive parts
That's if the parts you bought fit properly. If not, well...
I have a 2014 C250 with 55k. Love it no problems. I’ve owned many Merc through the years including a 1983 300 CD that I sold after 20 years of ownership with over 350k miles. Original motor, trans. even exhaust system. If you take care of them they are bulletproof.
I just purchased a c300 in MANUAL 😁
Same!!
I just bought a 2015 C300 with 21K miles (off lease) for less than the cost of a Honda Civic. Totally worth it!
+Mike Zerker that's awesome!
You will see reliability difference between lexus is250 and C300 after 4-5 years
I'm actually trying to decide between the same exact models. Can you share your opinions with the 2? Thanks.
Lexus = more reliable (less costly)
Mercedes = more luxury (more costly)
BL Chambliss, CSCP h
I just purchase my Mercedes c300, so far i am enjoying the nice ride and classy style. Thanks
It's a perk to turn heads, but in some situations you want to be clandestine, and a person driving a Merc will usually make a bad impression (only slightly less than when owning a BMW) I value being able to stay clandestine more than turning heads
Kevin De Smet cool 😎 story bro
Thats just you & your judgement
Ya u can tell by ur face
I have a 2009 c300 with 210,000 miles. I LOVE MY CAR. Very reliable.
Looking at a Mercedes-Benz C class C 300 that is decently priced.. 120,000 miles.. but it had 7 owners.. anybody wanna elaborate on that?
Hey did you get it
@@ChrisGuts-uv5mo hell no. Went for a test drive. Had a knock and shifted terribly
Got mine (c350) with a panoramic sunroof and with less than 60k miles for about 7 grand. What. A. Car.
Great video , but I love walking to keep myself fit and free from diseases .
My favorite class is the E class though
Right now I'm really into the Audi A7 sportsback but I will definetly buy a C class at some point in my life
Got me C63 AMG, absolutely love it.
Eddie3074 beautiful car man
I’m planning on getting my first car in less than a month and I wanted to know if I should consider buying a 2009 c300
I think it depends on what your other options are
Did you buy the 2009 I was planning on grabbing one soon too if so how's the reliability
Oneofakind _ yes
I just bought my 2010 Mercedes C300, It is very very nice. It was very well maintained. I just wondering, I was told I should full premium gas but not to Arco, Sam Club or Costco gas. Is that true? Only only Shell, or other expensive gas stations they said their gas is so much better for your Mercedes. I always used Arco and if I'm in are I do use Costco. Please share your suggestions. Thanks for sharing I was a little hesitant in buying but after reading all the positive comments I feel so much better.
@@lolly.createshelfcarrillo5109 Costco is fine I get my 91 premium there no problem with it at all . Costco gas is cheap and good
I rode Mercedes-Benz E 200 1992 series during my period in College for about 4years (from 2007 to 2011), the vehicle serves me very well and I vouch not to use any other car until I can afford another Benz.
CastrejonHDTV whatever makes you sleep at night. Some people enjoy the finer things in this life.
Rev up your engine!!
And don't forget to ring that Bell!
swagcity Then get a Lexus!
I recently purchased a C280 elegance (2009) and absolutely love it. What luxury. I wasn't happy with the mag wheels (now black) or the number plates (European style now small and white/blue) so swapped these out.
