Great job on the video. The meth info is cool. Hope you can figure out how to make it a bigger difference. I would have never thought to install the pump there. Cool idea
A few things about methanol; you seem to be new to the meth world, so I'm not talking trash to you at all.. 1.) Methanol is an alcohol so it's a fuel as well. You have to be tuned for meth whether you're using it as "alternative atmosphere" (Simply cooling effect) or as a fuel (straight methanol no gasoline). Methanol cools down via latent heat of vaporization. As the methanol changes phase (evaporation; liquid to gas) it cools down, which is what you want for IATs. You need to tune for meth because you'll run rich by simply adding meth and also you can advance timing because the cooling effect. Timing is where you gain the most power. 2.) For meth to cool down most effectively, you need linear distance to the throttle plate, meaning that tap into the supercharger snout isn't going to net you much (if at all) any performance. The best place to mount injection nozzles is after the intercooler because you gain the cooling effect of the intercooler and then the methanol has distance between the intercooler and the throttle plate to change phase (evaporation is where you gain the temperature delta). Once you step up your meth game you can actually delete the intercooler as the methanol is a chemical intercooler. Meth kit manufacturers do the throttle plate thing because that is easiest, not the best place to inject methanol. 3.) Methanol is hygroscopic (like brake fluid) meaning it attracts water, specifically water vapor. As you engine heats up there will be steam generated and the leftover methanol in the intake will attract that water. Not really a big deal since you're diluting the methanol, just know that because of that M112(K) you're gonna have more blowby because of that kompressor. The meth (and water) is gonna make its way to the oil so you're gonna have to change you oil more often. 4.) Another aspect of tuning. As you tune for meth delivery, it's like a teeter totter, you're pulling fuel as the meth is a fuel. More meth= less fuel, less meth= more fuel. Just know once you're tuned for meth, you're married to that tune, meaning should you run out of meth, the AFR is gonna go uber lean. It is important that your meth reservoir DOES NOT RUN DRY!!! 5.) At the end of your video you mentioned about changing the mix of water/meth. 50/50 is about the best you start running into diminishing returns above 50% meth. I'm up in Jacksonville and I have an F150 Ecoboost with meth. I buy my meth from a VP distributor and I buy the 55 gal drum. 6.) Methanol is poisonous. Please stop pouring meth in shorts and flip flops, it does absorb through the skin. You said already about the meth being flammable, but the fire is a clear burn, you won't see it, but you'll feel it!!! Please be careful. Enjoy!!
so many things wrong with these statements, I don't even know where to start. as some that makes 4 digit power on 93 and methanol. I can't agree with any of that. just my opinion and choose not to get into a YT chat battle. I do have a detailed video on my very small page. in short, use only 100% meth, keep the water out. meth is over 115 in octane so you get the cooling and octane. mount the nozzles 6 inches before the TB. remember, you have a roots style blower, you want to cool and seal the rotor pack. it's where all the heat it generated from compression the air. let the blower do the mixing. and throw that snow kit in the trash. alky control or pro meth. nothing else. enjoy.
Adam, great video on installation of Methanol! Look forward to future changes to get the temp down even more.
ya i need to do some work and tuning on it

well thank
you
it was a 2 person job to get it in there
6:36 Lmao 😂
I have no plans to mod my AMG as much as you do with yours but your videos are informative and funny so I keep watching 👍
Lol lol thanks
Happy to make people smile
nice job. Yor videos are very informative, thanks for taking the time and sharing your knowledge with us.
happy to help
I’m adding this kit to my modded GLA 250 I’m already pushing 350hp
nice

Thanks for the info. That does help
And now I use ppe when I mix it
You need to add meth pure to add timming and cooling your engine and that mean you run your car at E30 with dual nozzle
When you use the washer tank for meth where does washer fluid go ?
you can still use it to clean most washer fluid had meth in it
Those intake temps suck with the meth! Go larger nozzle!!
I am thinking so
Meth makes you slower!
how so
Ever met my ex? Lol
