    • @WildTouring
      @WildTouring  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Googs and the Finke River 4x4 track would be the two more difficult tracks towing. With a smaller/lighter trailer like the Drifta Dot, I think you would be fine. As long as your vehicle has the power to pull it through the soft stuff and you get the tyre pressures right. If youre going to be in a convoy with other vehicles then I wouldn't even think twice about it, would be easily done.

    • @WildTouring
      @WildTouring  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers for the sub mate, glad you enjoyed! Next part will be up this Sat morning. I'm running 2x ALLSPARK 100ah LiFePO4's. They are amazing! If you have a look through my videos you'll see I did a vid on my setup in the canopy (and same setup I put in my father in laws canopy). Definitely recomend going lithium if you're building a new system, they work out similar pricing to lead acid (AGM) when you consider the service life of them, with the added bonus of a deeper discharge, lighter, more stable voltage, crazy fast charge rate, higher max discharge current and internal protection from over charge/discharge or short circuit.

      The Fuel Apps are good mate, they can provide a lot of information in a simple form, especially after a few months of using them.
      You can even set Service Intervals in them so you get a reminder on your phone and also track service costs as well as fuel costs.
      Because fuel prices vary so much when travelling, i found it good to see my economy stayed fairly steady, even if the price of fuel didn't.
