The EXP 7i is one of NordicTrack’s affordable T-Series treadmills. It is powerful and quiet and offers the following features:
    Treadmill Features
    7” Smart HD Touchscreen
Crisp graphics display your free iFit content for the first month. You can walk, hike or jog while following along on any number of iFit routes and workouts.
    SpaceSaver® Design with EasyLift™ Assist
The SpaceSaver design keeps the footprint of the EXP 7i compact even while open. EasyLift Assist makes it easy to fold up when you’re done.
Smooth 12% Incline with Quiet Incline Tech
The 2021 model has smooth and quiet incline tech. This allows you to stay stable so you don’t have to hold the handrails while the deck inclines.
    0 to 12 MPH Speed
Plenty of speed training options with a maximum 12mph top speed with intermediate speeds of .1. For example: 6.1, 6.2, 6.3mph, etc.
Includes a 30 day NordicTrack iFit® Family membership with up to 5 profiles
iFit is NordicTrack’s signature online database of trainers and classes. The variety is impressive; pictures are crisp and sharp, and the trainers motivational.
    20” x 60” Commercial Tread Belt
There is a surprising amount of track space on the EXP 7i. At 60” in length it is a good 5” longer than comparable treadmills.
Upgraded Dual 3” Digitally Amplified Speakers and Bluetooth Audio
Dual 3” speakers tucked underneath the screen project clear sound. These have adjustable control for: Main Volume, Music, and Trainer so you can modify the sound as needed.
    Syncs with Bluetooth Headphones
The 2021 model will sync with your Bluetooth headphones so you can listen without having to use the speakers
    Dual AutoBreeze™ Workout Fans
Adjacent to the speakers, the fans provide nice air flow for your indoor room. The fans feature three power options and an auto-setting, so you can find the right amount of air flow.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is an extremely detailed review. I'm literally ordering my treadmill right now! I've been searching for a Treadmill for months and was overwhelmed. I'd wanted a SoleF63 but they deliver curbside and then send a team, so I'd still have to figure out how to get the box into my house until the assembly team arrived a few days later, Nordicktrack delivers and assembles in one whop!! Thank you for the review very well done I received all the information that I had questions on. I have had a nordicTrack C990 for 6 years, and decided it was time for something new. I purchased this unit since all the specs matched the one I have now and is still very close in price. Bonus that this unit runs the current version of ifit. It has been completely outdated on my 990 for several years now

Like she says and the instructions states, it is best to have two people to put this together. I did mine by myself, it is possible but much easier if you have two, especially putting the console section on, it was a bit tricky by me doing it myself. I use the treadmill for walking and I love it so far. I am not really that intrigued by the ifit app, but I may see what is is all about. One thing for sure, a treadmill from NordicTrac should not get damaged in transit, they are extremely well packed. I did have one hick up the other day when I turned the unit on and got ready to go into the program, it tripped the breaker in the electrical box, I am not sure what that was about, but it only happened once. The 7inch screen is fine for me, besides I use an app on my Ipad when training.

    • @TreadmillReviewGuru
      @TreadmillReviewGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Both building construction and the weight and gait of the user influence the noise output. Larger runners are going to generate more noise than petite walkers. Nearly any treadmill will generate foot noise that can be heard on a lower floor. For those on upper floors, we recommend considering an exercise bike or rower... they provide an excellent workout as well and are both smaller and quieter.

Be aware the latest iteration (as of 2024) of this model has some different specs.... It currently has, according the the NordicTrack website, a 2.6 CHP motor, down from the 3.0 CHP mentioned in this video, a 10 mph top speed, down from the 12 mph in the video, and the deck size is 20" x 55" instead of 20" x 60." And, judging from the console photo, the integral fan seems to have been eliminated. Also, iFIT is provided free for only the first 30 days rather than an entire year.

We've definitely heard and read about bad customer service for both companies. In our experience though we haven't had too many issues at all with either company. Compared to the NT EXP 7i I would recommend the Sole F63 in this case, so far we just like the F63 a little bit better because we've tested it longer.

That's a good idea. We've attempted to do video reviews of various apps and programs before... the biggest problem is the content is updated so quickly the video soon becomes dated with inaccurate information. The good side of this is companies are always expanding what content and features they offer. The hard side is it makes staying up to date with video reviews a bit challenging. We should probably do a new one again soon. Which programs/apps are you most interested in us reviewing?

Thank you for the reviews!! Does Exp 7i come with any preloaded programs (without iFit membership)? I am debating between this one and Proform Carbon T10 - will the extra 5”
    running length on Exp7i (20in x60in) make a big difference compared to T10 ( 20in x 55in) ? I plan to run/jog light to moderate amount.

    • @TreadmillReviewGuru
      @TreadmillReviewGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The EXP 7i comes with pre-loaded workouts, but they are through the "non-subscriber" version of iFit. So you will still need to have an internet connection to stream/use these "onboard" workouts. NordicTrack and ProForm really want you to use iFit so they still have you use the interface of iFit on the console to stream the free workouts. Also, if you have a tall user who is going to be using the machine, then yes the extra 5" will make a difference, but if you don't have anyone over 6' then you should be okay with the ProForm. We hope that makes sense. Let us know what other questions you have.

    • @TreadmillReviewGuru

We would recommend the 10i over the 7i, just to get a little bit bigger motor and a bigger screen to use. You can use manual mode on these treadmills without an internet connection but every time you get on your treadmill it will ask you to connect to the internet. That may or may not be a deal breaker for you but it's something to think about. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Sole has moderate cushion compared to the Nordictrack models, but it is certainly more cushioned than outdoor surfaces. If you just plan to walk, you'll be fine with the Sole F85. You could also look at the new Bowflex 10 or Bowflex 22 treadmills. We don't have video reviews for those yet, but they support up to 400lbs and have nice cushioning as well.

Both the EXP 7i and 10i are great treadmills, but they are lighter weight than Nordictrack's Commercial line. You may find they shake a bit during fast speeds. The 1750 is heavier and shouldn't have the same issue. However, the 10i is solid and it isn't going to shift unsafely, you may just notice a bit of movement when sprinting.

The Sole F80 is a great and really solid and we expect the EXP 14i to be as well. They both fold up to help save space, too. On which one you should get I think depends on if you want to use subscription content. The EXP 14i uses iFit which has a monthly subscription to access their trainer-led classes and to get full functionality out of the touch screen on the console. The F80 has subscription content but you don't need it to get the most out of the console because it has lower tech. The Carbon T10 and Nordictrack EXP 7i are very similar functionally. To be honest, I'd opt for the T10 simply because the 7" touchscreen on the 7i is really pretty small. It's roughly the size of a large phone and can be hard to see. It's also positioned right in the middle of the console and can be hard for shorter users to see. I hate devices that try to control my life.

If you go to the top left corner of the screen and click settings, you can turn off the wifi there

This treadmill sucks it hooks up to the Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi connection is so slow I wish I could just turn it off and make an ordinary treadmill out of this thing.
The treadmill parts great it’s this damn slow Wi-Fi connection very annoying

This is the most useless treadmill you can’t get through Nordic tracks computer it’s always down you can never fix it yourself you have to call this one 800 number and go through all kinds of hassle once you find a person they are knowledgable and nice but it’s just not the kind of trouble I want and it’s only on weekdays I can’t use this thing on long weekends I can’t use it after hours I can only use it during business days if I can get through to the sky and I keep asking them to delete everything and just give me an offer in on switch so I can use this thing but they don’t and they won’t so if you want to use the treadmill all the time don’t get one of these get one that has a simple often on switch
