Love the adventure and positive energy guys. Keep it up and we will follow along. This looks amazing. We are so excited to see this next month and film it for our channel. Machu Picchu is #1 on my bucket list. We are a father and son who travel the World to plant trees, clean beaches and teach people about culture, history, and natural wonders. Glad to find your stuff and hope you might like ours too. - Bear
lovely video guys. I did the exact same trekking down and up last year. We were hammered on the way back up, never ending :-) but glorious finale, and tye Condor...well... that was also a moment for us.
The way back up was quite intense indeed, especially when we had to do it before the sunrise. However, the way down was more challenging for us as it was really hot under the sun and there was no shade. But like you said, the condor and the whole experience were amazing. Glad that we had the chance to do this hike. 😀😀😀
If I go for trekking , I have to bring all my luggage ? Or can I storage luggage for example suitcase somewhere ? After finishing trekking I go back and take ? Otherwise I have to bring backpack instead of suitcase 😅
Hey there, you can ask the hotel where you stay in Cabanaconde to store the extra luggage that you don't need to bring to the hike. You can contact the accommodation beforehand to confirm it. We stayed at Pachamama hostel and the owner was very nice to allow us to leave some stuffs while we hiked to the canyon 😀👍
@@Onebackpackeach thanks for the info, from the videos you seems didn’t hire a guide , is it easy to find the way ? Does internet works during hiking ? And accommodation during hiking , was booked in advance or just arrival and pay for it ? My concern is what if fully booked if don’t do in advance , thanks again !
Yes, we didnt hire a guide.. the path was actually quite clear, especially that you can get a clear view of the canyon and where you need to go (you can always see the villages from the distance).. As for yhe accommodation along the way i'm not sure if you need to book way in advance (we didn't, but we went during the pandemic so there were hardly anyone), but i think it's good idea to ask the hotel person for information.. And no, there's no mobile reception in the canyon 😬
My next dream visit to Peru. I've been to Peru 4 times and have been to Cusco and Machu Picchu, but Colca Canyon is my next bucket list place in Peru.
You definitely have to visit Colca Canyon.. truly breathtaking!! 😀😀👍👍
