Chad Szeliga and Shannon Larkin are my 2 fav mainstream rock/metal genre drummers. Chad never gets any credit for being in the 2000s nu metal Ohio outfit known as Sw1tched. Found Sw1tched in 2002. I bought their debut album Subject To Change at random while searching around the metal section of Sam Goody music store. They were being advertised to be on the Ozzfest 2002 tour and it was just released. I'm so glad I bought it. Still love that band almost 20 years later!
I agree but after going to their clinic in Philly and meeting him personally. He wouldn't do it, I mean I couldn't even take a pic of his kit after paying $500 for the damn seat for the clinic. Little pissed still but I love Tool's work, sigh...
i couldnt understand which hihats are those. 13' Zildjain A custom? I love the hi hat sound of musics like I will not bow, he is such a creative drummer and also cool guy, great lessons in his channel
I believe I just purchased a snare drum on line with your signature on top of the head. The snare I bought looks like a acrolyte but not a Ludwig. Looks like a custom drum.
I wonder sometimes too. I'm guessing it depends on the contract terms and the length of the contract. Some guys probably get any gear they want whenever they want it for free and others may only get a certain amount of gear per year or a discount on that gear. I was always a Tama guy but recently started liking alot of DW kits I see guys playing. They're both top of the line and it all comes down to preference. But I can see him switching if DW was hard to get replacements for while he's touring but Tama has reps all over the globe or if Tama gave him full reign to use whatever he needs at all times. Also one company may value him more than the other and offer him a signature line of snare or sticks etc...
I have that Ride. Original brilliant finish Earth ride from back in the day.the 70s I belive... And just Like you Chad Its my Baby too! Lol there isn't another ride Like it and I'd never part with it.
He probably got the money for this kit by screwing Ben over Edit: I was an immature edgelord who made comments without thinking about what I said or knowing what I was talking about when I wrote this comment 5 years ago. I'm.not deleting this because I feel like I should be reminded of what a prick I used to be
Matt Elrod wrong brother.. he got his money long before BB.. and still does. . Because he's a fucking amazing drummer, and person. . But keep on hating..
Matt Elrod you really have no idea what really happened.. and no one ever will.. Chad is one of the coolest people walking and rocking this planet, and I just wanted to speak from personal experience and correct you. . It's all about #respect 😎🤘
He had nothing to do with that. That was all on the guitar player and bass player. Chad was never mentioned in the lawsuit, and he left during the lawsuit on his own. He wasn’t fired.
Such a cool dude..... awesome drummer!!! Entertaining to watch live...
🤘

What a kit and cymbal selection.

Danny Carey from Tool deserves an episode :)
Definitely, but it's up to him, not us.

Great insight . Thanks Chad
Glad you liked it!
Love the shoutout to MusicGoRound! I’m 30 mins away from one here in PA!
🤘🤘
Nice setup
does he have practice pads on the drums right here
Did you make an episode with Scott Gorham too?
Nope. Just Chad, Damon, and Ricky.
Why did he just switch from DW drums to Tama drums?
Not sure, sorry.

Star-dware?
😅

Thanks for watching.
Switched?
Not sure what you mean.
@@digitaltourbus the band, switched, is that Chad zseliga ex vocalist?
@@BlackLamb_ Ex-vocalist? To my knowledge, Chad has always been a drummer. He used to be in Breaking Benjamin and Black Label Society.
Chad was the drummer for Sw1tched. He left the band after 2 albums for a band called Leo, then won the audition that landed him with Breaking Ben.
@@davidcorvus he was in BB, then Black label society, then Adreanline Mob, Scott stapp, then this band (as i remember)

Alec Currier not hating. I just hate the fact that the band screwed Ben over and I feel bad that they had to get fired

Matt Elrod Chad had no involvement in screwing Ben over. That was all Mark and Aaron. Chad left from creative differences.
Yea ok
