Man this death cart is so sick. With the amount of people you’ve convinced to start a build like this, you can make a whole drift comp. I’ve recently picked up a mini quad and I just finally got it running this morning. Watching your (awesome) daily videos every night really keeps me motivated to fix mine and eventually modify it into some sort of go kart/drift kart thing

Quick update: I fixed the problem with the clutch and took it for my first drive around the backyard. It’s so rewarding to drive something knowing you are the reason it is running. I probably wouldn’t have this yet if your videos didn’t give me the motivation to finally spend some money on it.
A quick question for if you read this far into the comment, how did you get more steering angle? I can just barely chuck a uey at the end of my backyard and turn around.

Hey mike I know your buddy’s with Cam Martin and I’m not sure if you know but I gave cam a r32 coupe hot wheels car to him at the last K.I.R Friday night drifts would give your a model of either your evo,e36 or Datsun but unfortunately I have been able to find any is you want to see the car I gave cam either look in the video of the Nissan laurel c33 not the last one but the one before it’s in that video or just ask him about it. Love the content keep it going and hope you have a Happy and Merry Christmas.
Oh man that steering will slap hard on my drift cart that I started making just after you blew the OG motor up with the turbo and nos, I’ve been taking notes on how you did yours and I just purchased a 2 stroke 85 motor to slap in mine 🥵 my wife isnt happy but hey you get that 🤣 hopefully one day we get a chance to tandem these bad boys, should ghee up a drift park for just karts somewhere, loving the content my dude and thank you!!!!!

The first thing that i check if there is a new upload on the itsmikelake channel when i come on youtube Been waiting for the test drive since the start off the 4stroke engine swap and it was really fun i hope there is going to be more in 2024 maybe a drift trike i dont know to be honest but merry christmas and love the work you put in the vids keep it up💯

Hey Mike, still trying my luck with the steering wheel haha. Anyway the new modifications are sweet and I would love to see the future of this build. Next time I would buy a semi automatic engine to not worry with the clutch

I'm waiting on parts from the US of A for my go-kart engine, simple things that aren't available in NZ, the last pieces that will get the most power without going to the more expensive range of camshafts and billet heads with oversized valves etc... but in the mean time there's a front axle to fix. Although It's tempting to scratch the old sand rail style frame & build an offroad chopper trike. with big 18x9.5x8 ride on mower tyres, 1 meter rear axle & pitbike front forks and wheel. and of course the 212cc Chinese copy of a Honda GX200 with 16+ hp & a CVT with a Juggernaut driver... sand, grass, gravel roads etc (just have to remember the stability triangle thing when building it)
