  • The continual rain and high winds since the start of the year are at least letting me catch up on some videos from last year that I never had time to make. This video is frm the end of last year's boating season..and ..yup..it was raining then too.but at least the winds were warmer and not as strong. Roll on the start of the good weather for this year though.. as I'm itching to get back on the road again :-D

11:29 That's the view I had for my wedding, back in September. We stayed at the Tower of Glen Strae. We loved every moment on the Loch.

Interesting set up of the 2 boats Donny. You've shown in previous videos how you transport your f-rib (balancing it on your nut !) but Gordons 3.8 IE must be considerable more bulkier and heavier than the F-Rib so how does that compare when transporting them both and could you transport the Honwave if you were on your own ?? 😊😊

Hi Ben .. carrying the honwave takes two folks to carry when deflated..but Gordon blows it up and can haul it quite easily with its transom wheels down and no engine on the back. then carry the 6hp to the boat. Its easy peasy on a slipway with the wheels down though..even with the ob fitted

Hi Donny after always having large glass boats big outboards I bought a little Zodiac which I quickly sold as it had a wooden floor and weighed a ton now retired thinking about going back to Achmelvich area which I visited in the past hauling a big boat 😂,I like your 275, so thinking about a honwave 270 and after seeing your little yam, a 6 hp Yamaha, any thoughts would be appreciated take care, Joe

Sounds like a plan Strike now. I cant really comment on the wee Honwave but my mate has a Honwave T35 and T38 so know they are great boats. Achmelvich is a lovely place and the beach is to die for .. can be a far bit of swell dumping on it though. Stay safe :-D
