Nights into Dreams is a game that has resonated deeply with thousands of gamers since the mid-90s, and I take a deep dive into not just why this game is so much fun to play, but also why it means so much more to myself and many others.

I like the sentiment at the end. I feel that way about Shenmue and Soul Calibur. My brother and I played them as kids. That era of Sega had so much passion
100% agree about Shenmue as well.
the thing i love about nights is how it is apologetically itself, but includes the quirky aspect of the 90s. It reminds me of some kids home video, or the pagemaster, but it's a videogame. I think that is the best way to think of it
Yea I remember this game being like a dream. The graphics and the way the flying made you feel was special. Definitely looking at today it’s not the same but it was one of my favorites

just found this game in the steam dreamcast collection, i need to play this now!
I purchased the Xbox version of Nights a few months ago to relive those glory days from when I was a kid...it kicked my ass. Straight D's lol. I need to get my dream skills back.
I don’t understand why, but I adore this game and the characters in it. It’s one of if not the only game that makes me feel like a kid again.
I'm glad I at least have the remastered version on my ps3, but there's nothing quite like playing the original on a real Saturn, it just controls better and looks wonderful.
