    A very fair and balanced review. You did a great job of covering all of the pros and cons. As a former Alfa owner, I can't think of anything you missed. I will add, however, that the dealer network is very hit-or-miss. Some are great, while others are terrible. There aren't many in the US, either. Finally, I had problems with finding a shop to even do routine maintenance, such as oil and brake fluid changes.

      Thanks Darrell! Yeah it’s too bad they weren’t able to expand the dealer network more.

      We recently bought my wife a new Guilia Veloce and I really want a Stelvio for myself but the lack of dealer support is super concerning. We already live over an hour from the closest ones. That is really making me think I don't want 2 Alfa cars just incase.

      @@darksideemt The poor dealer service caused me to sell my Guilia. If your dealer is good, then no prob. However, Alfa dealers are still going out of business in some areas. It depends on if you want to take that risk.

    We got my wife a new Guilia Veloce about 6 months ago and we love it. I have owned several sports cars over the past few years, pretty much all the v8 american made cars, and the Guilia is one of if not the most fun to drive car we have had. I have wanted a Stelvio for myself as daily for myself ever since. I am hesitant only due to lack of dealer access and it seems to be getting worse in some areas. I really can't decide if I want this or a new M240i. Great review Matt and really wish more YT car guys would review Alfa more and get the word out of how nice they really are, especially for the price you can get them.

    Great review as always! I have a Stelvio Ti Sport in Misano Blue like this, it’s my daily and I absolutely love it. I’ve gotten a 5.2 0-60 on my Dragy in Dynamic mode. Crazy to think that’s what an original Honda S2000 did. I’m fortunate that I have a very good dealership in my city. I also bought an extended mopar max care warranty because, well, it’s an Alfa. But it’s the perfect daily SUV for midwesterners that deal with winters and snow and ice.

      @@mikeolson7557 in light snow it does ok. Im not sure about the new models, my year (2019) doesn’t have an AWD lock ability, so it’s always RWD until it detects wheel slippage and sends power to the front. I really didn’t drive it through very thick snow, my guess is it wouldn’t do as well as other vehicles

    Great review. After having wireless CarPlay/Android Auto in my Mach-E I can never go back to wired. In vehicles at these prices it's inexcusable to not have it wireless. Also, I live in CA where front plates are required but I have never once seen an Alfa with the front plate on because of that front end design...and I don't blame people, it would look so bad with a front US plate on.

    The cargo space is the same as in a X3i, X4, Merc GLC Coupe, which means more than a Q5 Sportsback, Macan or Volvo XC60. ...But yes, 4% less than the boxy versions of the Q5, X3, Merc GLC. The Jaguar F-Pace is a clear winner in this category.

    • @bbbbccc1717
      @bbbbccc1717 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I own the Stelvio and the cargo space is comparable to most competitors. The thing with cargo space is that each manufacturer has different ways of measuring it so you can't just compare manufacturer figures. The GV70 has a higher capacity on paper but the trunk has got to be one of the smallest ones in the segment.

    I have always wanted a stelvio or guilia. Unfortunately up to this point it just hasn't worked out for one reason or another.
    I will say for over 60k they should have maybe slightly up tuned the 4 cylinder. Its had that 280ish HP since the beginning. I think a middle engine choice or power choice would be great between the base and the quadrofolio. This would have been a good trim level to have rolled that out with.
