Martin Saban-Smith has provided me with a sample set of Intrinisic Colours.

You say we have patience and endurance. Right back at you, Stewart. You really take every effort necessary to get your results and make each step and detail matter.
Regarding mica in paint, the first batch I mixed up was just violet-red interference mica powder. I misunderstood how you use it, a dark or contrasting back colour showing better, but we were just making crafts. I certainly like that colour effect. I first used it in my turning with purple pearl mica (pearl as in it shimmers) powder, as a topcoat on a meaningful vase to some quiet heroes during the pandemic. The purple shimmer, on the black dyed maple, was a success. Now, I need to take your lessons and get mixing colour and working it. Thanks for the detailed demo.

As always the end result is excellent although as usual during the process one does wonder. I love the finish but the proportion of the lid to the base is not quite right, you obviously were not paying attention when Les T. was giving you tips and tricks.
