Personally, I have listened to so many videos just yapping, yapping, yapping. I can see what he is doing. I want to see the finished product to see if I want to copy it. This video is not for a second grade art class.
I watch a lot of wood turning videos and I like yours best. Thanks for not talking during the video and thank God you don't play music. Tool noise is so much better.
Beautiful Bowl. The grain is fantastic on that wood. And the lines of the bowl are simple and elegant. I just started wood turning and agree with you. Lidded bowls are my favorite things to turn. Bowl just does not seem finished until I put a lid on it.
Nice work. I find that there’s no such thing as scrap wood since I started turning. All the small pieces of nice wood that I couldn’t throw away have become game calls, bud vases and small bowls. Now that I have a big lathe, it’s time to start making some larger pieces and use up the “ scrap pieces “ from the saw mill. 😁 Dave.
Why do people keep calling nice chunks of wood scrap. I am shocked that how much a 5 lb chunk of oak would cost if you bought it online. That piece is not scrap. It's almost as if TH-camrs want to attract more views by saying that you get something for nothing. Annoys the scrap out of me
Silent videos are the worst! Why would you make a video and not tell the viewer what you’re doing and why? Just doesn’t make sense,

I agree 🎉
I turned my first lidded bowl this week. I got some good ideas from this video. Thanks!

I agree. I don’t really like talking and also tool noise is more realistic. I enjoy watching so please, keep it up.
Very nice...love the lid!
Beautiful work. Simple and to the point. Very nice.
Thank you! I try to turn by the less is more rule
Beautiful lidded bowl!! Great camera work too!
Thanks Wyatt! I appreciate that

I feel the same about needing a lid, it feels as though now I have closure.
This is what I love. Plain , simple and easy to turn. A good little job using pieces of “ scrap “wood. Also a lot of fun.👍👍
You and me both! Sometimes I think the simplest pieces are often the prettiest.
Well done!!
Thank you!
Beautiful bowl and lid 👍👏

It might be a piece left over from another project. Personally, that's what I use most
This is no scrap wood for me
