I'm surprised Rollo hasn't responded to your request for an interview. Rollo loves to cite studies, and the man can talk for hours without coming up for air. I think you two gentlemen would enjoy going back and forth with your different data points.

One thing is what people care about and another thing is what make relationships work.
So these differences between surveys and behaviour is like "what I think I do vs what I actually do" or "what I think I should want vs what I actually want".
Can you explain to me, in numbers, how significant having a high/higher than woman's status is in the behavioural studies? I would also need a definition of status
