Macken, I saw you on Chris Williamson, and I have been binging your content. Thank you and well done.
I have a random question that's not to do with the content but one I just have to ask. What is the make and brand of your glasses please, because they're awesome?
Best of luck with the future youtube content. I will absolutely be here for it. As a data scientist, I find this field of study incredibly engaging, and also see potential in your educational work.

What is the purpose of jealousy in polyamory if it is an emotion that is supposed to protect us from infidelity?

That’s sort of like asking “Why do vegans still sometimes like the smell of barbecue?”
You can swim upstream against your nature but you cannot change your nature. (I am vegan, FWIW, so this analogy isn’t a dig at polyamory.)

People in general, as a species, tend to be jealous.
That doesn't mean everyone is the same.
I think polyamorous people are they ones that don't express this trait as severely or can see past it more easily

@@murphymacken Hi Macken, is there a theory from evolutionary perspective of why homosexuality exists?
You’re awesome with data and always keen to spot when the data reflects that subjects are lying to themselves or think they’re a certain way but are really not. I would love it if you’d turn some attention on homosexuality, because there’s a sizable part of society that’s invisible from gay studies : “straight” men with girlfriends or wives who have anonymous encounters with gay men.

All the pride campaigning hasn’t helped much with them.
