I am a big bass lover i like music in higher energy.boombox 2 or jbl partybox 100 which one should i buy?this is the first time i come across your channel and i love it
The JBL Boombox 2 is more expensive but if you already have JBL Partyboost speakers or just want a speaker to occasionally take on the go and have around water the Boombox 2 if you just one good sound for cheap still great Bass and decent clarity that you use to host get-togethers with a mic input the partybox 100 there's no ip rating so be careful around water and the battery is ok it should get you through a day but the Boombox is better

The original Boombox if you want to carry it more and still have IPX7 water resistance and pair to JBL connect speakers than yes but the partybox 100 is louder has more bass and you got your mic and guitar inputs

@@TheRareMusicArchiveCollection Nope I just got it because I been wanting it but I had 3 defective units until I got a good unit in December for 2020 but ever since I got the Boombox 3 I bearly use my Boombox 2 now. But for 350$ it's a damn good deal 👌

I'm waiting on Amazon to drop my Boom Box 2 off today. I was using a Fugoo XL, but the buttons stopped working after 4 years of use. I'm going to throw this one in the back of my 4-wheeler until I can save up for a permanent audio system. 🤙

in my case speaker plays better after couple of months of use, more lows and overal better sound..
Really it's like 48 hours to break in speakers it's bearly noticeable after that time period

Love your reviews, man! Please help me sort out couple of these confusions. So, I'm pretty much into debate, amongst these speakers, Boombox 2 and Hyperboom. Definitely I'm looking for a clear, crispy and most natural sound but then the bass at lower frequencies shouldn't be compensated. Which one do you think can deliver better my needs? let's not bring their prices to the decision! Secondly, it seems here in India, the Hyperboom has gone out of stock, and can't expect it to arrive back, im anytime within 3 months. So, if I go with Boombox 2(owing to its availability better ) , does that seemscompensating with the sound quality in any manner? Or should I be biased enough to hold on, until the thing arrives back? Third, does the Boombox 2 really does drop the vocals and that sound signature, around higher volumes, say 80 percent? And lastly, if I were to listen, around 50 percent volume, which one would you suggest to vibe out? Do, you think if I won't make it to Hyperboom, there'd be lot regret about?

Well the hyperboom sounds more balanced than the Boombox 2 but because of the sound signature is mostly flat it sounds pretty boring until you get it around 80% which is really loud and at max volume there is a good amount of distortion and as far as the lower bass notes it has none 60HZ is the cutoff point all UE speakers are upperbass focuse but it helps outdoors but uts all on personalpreference.The Boombox 2 still sounds more dynamic although it's not the most balanced. Highs are pretty clean and can get a bit ear pricing at higher volumes the Firmware update made it sound a lot smoother and mids are clean but somewhat held back but it's enough to get some good detail and the bass is the most impressive thing as far as upper bass it really doesn't have any but at has a peak at 45HZ which makes that movie theater rumble but it starts to die down quickly and 40Hz is where it's mostly dropped off however it can get carried away sometimes it will bottom out btw the speakers aren't distorting but the Passive radiators trying to over do it which results in loss of bass so some songs you will have to turn it down because it starts moving and depending on the surface it could fall off. And lastly The Boombox 2 use to lower the mids and highs heavly but with the update it's still there but Slightly and also it gets louder if you plug it in and the UE you don't have to plug in to get full power

Get the ue hyper boom a lot of bass
Doint count on it but if I can get it somehow I'll do a comparison but the hyperboom has alot of upper bass the JBL's focus on lower bass and prefer that sound signature but thanks for the recommendation 👍

3years old, how about battery life today 2023 of your boombox 2?.
My current Boombox 2 battery life and overall performance is still holding up today, with my custom EQ settings and the volume set between 65 to 80% I am able to get 4 hours 47 minutes and 4 hours 8 minutes a maximum volume. I'm doing the full review on the Boombox 3 comparing it to the Boombox 2 this month, but my newer videos got a a few Boombox 2 comparisons in their

Thank you for the suggestion but not many people are interested in the Marshall. Basically the Marshall has a more clinical sound with more upper bass but the Boombox to has a brighter sound signature and a lot more deep bass I think Vua2hand has a sound battle between them
