    Love how I’m having a mind breaking conversation with my bestfriend about being more kind to myself and not taking people crap and then I hear a notification on my phone next to me 😂 Devine intervention I guess 😂😂😂

    The part about laziness really got me. 😭 I’ve been trying so hard to be motivated to return to work after a year and a half of unemployment. I got really burned out at my last job and I think my brain is trying to protect me from feeling that way again so I find it so difficult to want to go back. I feel so lazy, but it’s on my mind every single day. I get worn out thinking about it to the point where I can barely manage to do any household chores. It makes me feel so guilty that my husband is at work all day, and I only manage to cook us dinner some days. 😢 but I’m working on getting into therapy to work through this and other thing from my past that I believe are also holding me back.
    Sending lots of love and encouragement to everyone who feels the same way, here in the comments. You are not alone❤

      I'm currently in the similar same situation as you!! I just feel stuck and unmotivated and also guilty about feeling this way

    • @MBPip
      @MBPip 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tay2564 It sucks!! I’m sorry! But at least there is solace I knowing we aren’t alone 🫶🏻 I’ve got my first therapy appt in a few days. Hoping I can get myself back on track. (I just don’t know how long that will take, but I’ve gotta start somewhere!)
      I hope you have or find someone you can talk to about how you’re feeling. I think the worst part about feeling this way is keeping it all in but then expecting ourselves to just keep going.
      I think keeping a lot of things bottled up is what ultimately got me to this point, perhaps you as well? The problem is that I wasn’t always ready to talk about things the way I feel I am ready now. So if that’s the case for you, just know I understand.
      Anyway, I wish you the best and hope you find healing and more self love.
      Sending virtual hugs ❤️

    "How you're feeling makes sense" really hit me!!! I always give others the benefit of the doubt whenever they don't come through with something, but then its hard for me to understand why I cant shake the feeling of fatigue and low energy I have, even though I'm going through a breakup of a 3y relationship and I'm under pressure to submit my graduation thesis and project and then defend and then prepare to move back to my home country ... uffffff😮‍💨

    I don't know why but for some strange reason, I have been struggling with feelings of jealousy over other people's successes and I find myself triggered by some which causes feelings of inadequacy to rise up within me (long story because there is more to this story really than I feel comfortable disclosing here) but would you please talk about jealousy and how to deal with such feelings when they come up and also dealing with feelings of regret from actions of the past, thank you!

    • @sytmor
      @sytmor 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Hi! I’m not a licensed professional but I wanted to share as someone who has experienced the same and has been able to minimize the emotions that arise when others talk about their success.
      For me, it has been jealousy over wanting to accomplish things my peers have and being frustrated that I can’t or that it’s much harder for me. Recognizing that I have lived a very different life then them, with a lack of resources, without active or supportive parents, etc. has been a huge step in my recognition. It isn’t fair that what happened to me happened, and it isn’t the fault of those around me now. I want my friends to be happy and have the things they do, it’s more so now recognizing that I just want it too. It’s still hard to conclude that everything will just be harder for me, but it helps knowing that it isn’t my fault, it’s just my experiences and circumstances that have made it hard for me, and to direct my feelings toward self compassion when I make comparisons and talking with a therapist more about the frustrations of not being able to do or have the same things.
      I’m not sure if this helped, and I hope that Steph can respond. I just wanted to share that you’re not alone and try to give yourself grace ❤️
