    I have white coat syndrome. My BP measured at home is in a 120/70 range. At the doctor's office the nurse says it is 155/80. The doctor measured it and it was 188/80. I'm 5 feet 9 inches and weigh 160 pounds. He has changed my meds from 40 mg losartan to 40 mg twice a day. Now he changed it to 100 mg and 25 mg of a diuretic even though he said I am not retaining water. My problem is my doctor.

    If I have a very sweaty workout daily for an hour, how much salt does that deplete? I’ve been doing this and having a low salt diet and it’s clearly a problem. I have headaches and fatigue. It’s only been a couple weeks, so I’m glad I figured it out already. I had a glass of warm water with a half teaspoon of salt and felt remarkably better in minutes. I’d love to have an idea how much salt I need after having keeping my heart rate over 150 for an hour.

Big pharma as farcas I know, has been sued for $millions + and recently heard another taken off the market for possible dangerous effects.
      BP lower than 120 is possibly more dangerous than OVER 161.
      According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, November 8, 2006; 296(18): 2217-2226. Mortality Heart failures 4 times higher in those less than 120 than those over 161 on study of 48,000 heart failure patients at 259 US hospitals. If they have known that 20 years ago, I wonder why. They even at one stage decreased it from 140/90 to 130/80 and this threshold would have lead to 46% of the US adult population HTN up from 32% of American adults.

      I know this study. There are larger studies needed, to really show, if keto is better. Please consider: Not everybody is willing to do keto on such a strict level and can hold this diet on long term. I see a lot of patients struggle with keto and carnivore on the long term...it is one-sided.

    • @RobertWinter2
      @RobertWinter2 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      @@DrUlrichSelz_english I hope doctors are now giving people the option and don't automatically assume it's too hard for them. I didn't stumble upon keto until I had been a type 2 diabetic for a over decade. Keto gave me my life and vitality back, including normalizing my blood pressure and getting me off all my multiple medications. Keto is not hard to stick with if you're scared of going back to feeling as bad off as you used to feel. If you just do it to lose a few pounds, sure, you'll eventually be lured back by the siren song of ultra-processed edible substances that pass as food these days.

      Happy, but BP attack may paralyze a side of body, impair vision, damage kidneys, bring in memory loss, nervousness, inability to speak and several other irreversible problems. So, paying attention is wise decision.

      She needs to change her life style because it can help her bp and she might be able to get off bp meds. I pray that Jesus help her to get herself healthier. Im trying my best to get back healthy. Is she better? Was she affected? I was my left side but im now health through God!!if she need some support from some one who can relate to a stroke she can reach out to me if she need to talk or need help with the blood pressure. Or if she needs to ask questions about strokes and how i got through it. I need support as well.
