Saw 'Next to Normal' last night and it did not disappoint. The show was incredible. Just so well put together. I've seen Caissie in other shows and she was amazing in those, but in this show it's NEXT LEVEL. She was an absolute power house with her vocals. She delivered every single song, every single line, every single word. Also keep an eye out for Jack Wolfe who plays the son. He was sensational and will be a talen to watch out for as he's going to do great things. The entire cast in this show were outstanding.
i saw this production recently and was completely blown away by caissie + the rest of the cast. an absolutely amazing show. hopefully gonna see it again before closing! i really really hope there’s a cast recording in the works, i love the broadway recording but there’s something about this cast and this production that is just so special.
what an experience it is to watch a performer whose obvious vocal prowess and control are supported by equally as much acting and emotion and character..... deeply jealous of folks in the uk who get to see this live
I'm from the Blue Ridge mountain range in the United States. This song isn't about physical mountains, but it still makes me think of home. To hear these lyrics from such a dazzling voice is such a treat! "Where the air is clear, and cuts you like a knife," gets me every single listen!
Pretty sure I’m making up 1K of these views by myself 😂❤. It was wonderful to watch Caissie and the show live, amazing performances all round and such hard hitting material presented with such emotion
Saw the original Diana -- Alice Ripley. And though she was an emotional powerhouse, by the time I saw her in San Diego she'd been touring for a while and her voice was shredded. So while Caissie Levy is less raw and more subdued emotionally in the sequences I've seen, her vocals blow Ripley out of the water. Absolutely gorgeous while still conveying the quiet, cutting pain inside her. A different approach, but no less effective emotionally.
DIANA] There was a time when I flew higher Was a time the wild girl running free would be me Now I see her, feel the fire Now I know she needs me there to share I'm nowhere All these blank and tranquil years Seems they've dried up all my tears And while she runs free and fast Seems my wild days are past But I miss the mountains I miss the dizzy heights All the manic magic days And the dark depressing nights I miss the mountains I miss the highs and lows All the climbing, all the falling All the while the wild wind blows Stinging you with snow And soaking you with rain I miss the mountains I miss the pain Mountains make you crazy Here it's safe and sound My mind is somewhere hazy My feet are on the ground Everything is balanced here And on an even keel Everything is perfect Nothing's real Nothing's real

really cannot express enough how badly i need this on broadway + a recording.
I need a new N2N cast recording.
I got to see Caissie in this yesterday and she was absolutely incredible. I need a London cast recording asap.
Stunning.
Best show I've seen Caissie in, so far!
Wow, what a great cover! I hope this show comes back to the U.S. soon. It meant so much to me in high school. I would love to see it back on Broadway.

I am going to cry so much when I see this in September. I am not prepared at all!
I saw it tonight and sobbed my heart out 😭
Just stunning. Beautifully conceived song perfectly performed and played.

Well, that was beautiful!
This is beautiful and all I ever wanted even though I didn’t know it
I know I never knew I needed this in my life
This song has never sounded better. (And that's saying something.)

DIANA]
There was a time when I flew higher
Was a time the wild girl running free would be me
Now I see her, feel the fire
Now I know she needs me there to share
I'm nowhere
All these blank and tranquil years
Seems they've dried up all my tears
And while she runs free and fast
Seems my wild days are past
But I miss the mountains
I miss the dizzy heights
All the manic magic days
And the dark depressing nights
I miss the mountains
I miss the highs and lows
All the climbing, all the falling
All the while the wild wind blows
Stinging you with snow
And soaking you with rain
I miss the mountains
I miss the pain
Mountains make you crazy
Here it's safe and sound
My mind is somewhere hazy
My feet are on the ground
Everything is balanced here
And on an even keel
Everything is perfect
Nothing's real
Nothing's real
SHE IS A REVELATION
Excelent
it was exceptional - wish it wasnt sold out and I could also take my mum
