Yeah I love it! I remember with that evolution of girl groups video they seemed to really focus on the middle three, so the beatboxer and bass were a bit overshadowed, which is a shame because they're amazing so I'm glad they changed it!

There may be a little bit of auto to fix some aireyness but it’s a cappella so that happens pretty frequently. it’s very obvious that you have no talent, but none of us need to know about that.
i am 61 urs old. listened as a child to Roberta Flack original…. inspired me to sing. to hear it sung so beautifully and passed forward to the younger generations is very moving. thank you for sharing!

I have always looked and felt that A'capella singing is not only beautiful , but needed. It is what is missing from music and should have its own category. These beautiful and talented young women deserve more than applause. The arrangementis gorgeous. Makes me appreciate the production genius of the original sung by the great Roberta Flack even more. I look forward to hearing more from these ladies in the future. Hopefully they will stay to together and grow together as a group give to the world of today's music the opportunity to respect true talent like this and redeem itself.
A capella music is so under rated these days, I'd love to hear more groups doing it. Forget all those instruments, vocal harmonies are always far more interesting and any group that can sing in harmony well together can save a fortune on all those expensive guitars and such. Why pay a thousand bucks for a drum set when a good beatboxer can make every sound it makes and then some?

They were so good, not sure of the names now, but the Asian looking beat boxer had this thing where she was in the background trying to imitate new sounds she heard others doing. Wasn't so keen on the second movie though, the ending was more like a chior than a capella.

You will notice most a capella groups have one or two people who can make percussion nioses. It adds another layer to the music. Very beautiful. Edit: corrected spelling and I would love to have replied back in your language but I don't know it well enough.

I don't remember hearing the original on the radio in 1972. I believe it wasn't a big success. I do remember Roberta's interpratation and I didn't like it much at that time (Iwas into rock music.) Decades later when The Fugees recorded their version I learned to appriciated what Roberta did with her cover though I still prefer Lori's version.
This is truly the most mystical song this group has produced. Integrating the beautiful tones of each of their voices makes a magical masterpiece. Wish they could have continued because the many produced an absolutely genius whole. And the individuals are not quite the same whole. Love this entire magical group.

Of course I want them to succeed as a unit, but if they ever do separate (which I hope not!) I hope Nina, Cora, and Hannah succeed in Pop music and Kaylah and Kaedi to succeed in R&B.

@@carkod except fifth harmony was forcefully put together by a talent show and this group just gathered together and started creating music on their own. I say they're closer to Cimorelli and 4th Impact than Fifth Harmony nor Little Mix.

There is a person whose main is for the lower notes, there's someone for beatbox, someone for middle notes, someone for high notes. They also have very clear distinction on who brings what flavor to the performance. That's unlike Fifth Harmony where everyone is vying for whatever main character roles there are (adlibs, high notes, main melodies, etc.) This group is definitely a whole lot more versatile in distribution of roles, prioritizing art over profit. Fifth Harmony was being promoted while prioritizing the most popular members. Not to hate on the members, it's how dirty the industry goes and seems to be why they ended up the way they did.

@@carkod except fifth harmony was forcefully put together by a talent show and this group just gathered together and started creating music on their own. I say they're closer to Cimorelli and 4th Impact than Fifth Harmony nor Little Mix.

There is a person whose main is for the lower notes, there's someone for beatbox, someone for middle notes, someone for high notes. They also have very clear distinction on who brings what flavor to the performance. That's unlike Fifth Harmony where everyone is vying for whatever main character roles there are (adlibs, high notes, main melodies, etc.) This group is definitely a whole lot more versatile in distribution of roles, prioritizing art over profit. Fifth Harmony was being promoted while prioritizing the most popular members. Not to hate on the members, it's how dirty the industry goes and seems to be why they ended up the way they did.
A week later and, holy shit, I'm seriously, seriously, addicted. Like, every day. Music at its zenith is harmonics, but these girls take harmony a level above. 'Tre', finally, you have been bested, but it took 20 years. I now want to get rich, take over the world, and create a cathedral in which these ladies can sing and record the reason life evolved in the first place.
